The property was very quite and comfortable! Although it was very hot when we arrived and took a lot of time to cool down, opening all the windows, getting the fans going. There could be far more robust fans that oscillate. The wifi also was not working.

Terrific stay.

We loved this home. The neighborhood is perfect. Truro is well located to do all the ponds and beaches in Wellfleet, but just a quick ride to the dunes and fun of P Town. The house itself was so comfy with room for so many!!

Perfect for a Cape Cod Vacation

We all really enjoyed our first trip to Cape Cod. 5 of us were celebrating 4th of July, and the home had plenty of room for all of us and felt extremely safe. The home is in a great location, perfectly situated near Welfleet (drive-in theater, mini golf), Provincetown (drag shows, nice dining, fireworks), and many Truro beaches (we enjoyed Head of the Meadow and Ballston). The parking area is ample, and there are plenty of beds. Cape Cod in the summer is super humid so there is a somewhat damp feeling throughout the house (towels hanging never quite dry) and it was a little warm upstairs during the evening, but there are plenty of fans to make it tolerable. Plus, the downstairs room with bunk beds is nice and chilly for those who like it cool at night. We did a lobsterbake and the home had lots of lobster crackers, a lobster pot, and plenty of supplies for making seafood. The showers have great water pressure/come to temp quickly, which was fantastic. I think the dryer might need a bit of work - it took 3 hour-long cycles for a very tiny load to dry - but that could also be due to the humidity in the area. Overall we LOVED our stay and would definitely be back.

Unclean nice house

A disappointment! The house itself is nice, but it clearly wasn’t cleaned . I had to wipe down and sweep everything… obvious shod have been done at minimum! The dishwasher was broken, a few of the window cranks were broken, towel rack broken, beds unclean., And didn’t have clean sheets or pillow s or pillow cases. Luckily there were laundry machines and we washed all of the sheets and towels ourselves. Shockingly dirty, especially given the fact that Vacasa adds a daily cleaning fee of about $350/day. I felt totally ripped off!!

Excellent layout, Centrally located

This home was easy. The floorpan worked well to allow everyone their own space while providing comfortable indoor and outdoor areas. The kitchen was well equipped and the home had everything you could want. There were some pretty intense mosquitoes during our stay but they were everywhere in the Cape at the time. The only negative was the lower floor was very musty and had some mold on the ceiling and bedding so if your sensitive or have respiratory issues do not stay on that level.

Truro Cape House

Great House, lots of beds and space for large group. Only 10 min away from Longnook and Ballston beaches, both very nice beaches. Big driveway, lots of privacy, large wrap around deck. Only 15 minutes from Wellfleet beachcomber, very convenient that everything is so close by 10/10 would rent again!

Great escape in the Cape

This house is well maintained with magnificent all around deck (we were able to find a shady spot all day long) and a very convenient location: easy access to Truro village, beach, and ponds. The space is vey family-friendly, the kids loved their private basement haven and created awesome memories. We loved it so much we rented an additional week this summer and can’t wait to be back.

Great for two families!

This was a great house for our vacation. Our family of 4 and our friends who are a family of 5 had a great week in this house. There was ample shared living and dining space and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. Since our kids are all still young, we split the sleeping space in the house with one family in the basement bunk room and the other upstairs, and that worked out very well. The recently renovated basement space was especially nice. I can envision future years when the kids are older they will all be staying down there together. The outdoor deck was lovely (although definitely bring bug spray as for any wooded area on Cape Cod), and the quiet neighborhood and wooded surroundings gave us plenty of privacy. The week we were there was extremely hot for the Cape since it was well over over 90 degrees for multiple days, but fans worked to keep the air moving, and everything cooled down well in the evening. We went into Provincetown for activities and beaches everyday. The house was conveniently located to the highway for a quick trip into town. There were some neat trails and beaches reachable from the house if you have older children or are a group of adults. We will definitely be staying in this house again. It was wonderful.

This was a great house for our vacation. Our family of 4 and our friends who are a family of 5 had a great week in this house. I've stayed in vacation houses all over the place and this is one of the best I've seen! First, if you are a group this house is perfect for you. There are 3 levels and so many places to either be together as a big group or section off if you want to be alone. If the kids want to do their own thing, there is a whole space for them on the lower level. The best feature is the wrap around porch - the kids played trains on one end while the adults grilled out and enjoyed wine on the other side. There was space for everybody to sprawl out! The kitchen is well-appointed and we found absolutely everything we needed for our at home dinners. The location is a quick drive to P-town and feels very private with all the lush greenery around. The decor is well thought out and reflective of the area. This is an extremely enjoyable home to vacation in and I would not hesitate to rent it again!
