Hängen Sie auf dem geräumigen Vorderdeck oder der geräumigen Terrasse im Hinterhof mit Rasenfläche ab. Voll ausgestattete Küche, moderne Geräte, Holzböden, Gaskamin, Flachbildfernseher, Parkplatz für 2 Personen. Gehen Sie 2-3 Blocks zu den Klippen von Ocean Beach & Sunset Cliffs, zu den örtlichen Minimarts und Restaurants. The cottage was all we hoped for and more. Not sure the photos even do it justice, absolutely charming. The owners have thought of everything and it was a wonderful place to settle in for two months. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I have stayed at the Colorful Coastal Cottage quite a few times over the past 4 years. We love it for its comfort, charm, location, amenities and more. Rachel is an excellent host. We highly recommend it for a stay in the Ocean Beach area.

A Great Stay at the Cottage!

Our family has stayed at the cottage several times and we love it. Rachel is a great host, and the cottage is lovely, comfortable and clean with a beautiful garden, hot tub, laundry, beach items, and ample supplies. We watched the sunsets from the front terrace and walked into OB center or along Sunset Cliffs every day. We highly recommend staying here!

Great beachy, retro vibe in a perfect location

The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great outdoor spaces. We enjoyed reading in the sun out front and grilling and hot tubbing in the back. Beds are comfy. The retro beach cottage vibe means that you don't have a gourmet kitchen with the newest appliances, but everything works great and we cooked many great meals here. Easy walk to the oceanfront and convenient proximity to OB, downtown, the airport and our daughter at PLNU. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

We've stayed here twice. Its clean, cozy but spacious, in a great spot to sight-see at all the local attractions and has a view of the ocean from the front deck. The property feels secure with locking gates in the front and back of the property. I love staying here!

Wonderful Stay at Colorful Coastal Cottage

We were at the Colorful Coastal Cottage over the Christmas holiday, our 4th stay at this excellent home. The cottage is lovely, comfortable and clean with great amenities, and in a nice neighborhood and convenient location in Ocean Beach. The backyard patio, garden and hot tub, as well as the front terrace with views to the ocean, are key features. Rachel is a wonderful host, friendly, attentive and kind. I highly recommend staying here as a home base in San Diego.

Staycation

The perfect beach home! After helping plan our eldest son’s wedding and graduation of our younger son, it was time to decompress. Coastal Cottage is the perfect beach vacation. Everything is nearby and no car is needed. Lyft was always available within 5 minutes and delivery services are available as well. The neighborhood is so quiet and very walkable. The views of the ocean from the front bedroom and living room was so relaxing with a cup of coffee. After a morning of pickleball, a soak in the hot tub was luxurious and well maintained. The kitchen and all amenities were as described and the home is well appointed. One of my new favorites!

Well-maintained home in quiet neighborhood

This is one of the nicest homes I've ever rented. It's in a quiet neighborhood about 3 blocks from the beach. You can see the ocean right from the living room and the front porch is a great place to watch the sunset. There's also a nice patio in the back with a grill, outdoor shower, and hot tub. The house is clean and has anything you might need including beach chairs and umbrella. You do hear an occasional plane go by but I didn't find it bothersome. I would definitely rent here again. When we arrived, the owner met us at the house to show us around and answer questions, which I don't think has happened at other houses I've rented. She was responsive and helpful both before and during our stay.

Fantastic Listing

We are a family of 3 and this house couldn't have been more perfect. The location is perfect. We had no issues getting to anything we wanted to see or do. The Food is amazing in San Diego. Beds were very comfortable and this house might have the softest towels I've ever felt. The kitchen was well stocked and even has a nespresso. The landscaping is next level and the outdoor spaces are so comfortable and perfect for the socal weather. The little touches make this house so adorable. The host could not have been more helpful and in communication the entire time. One of my favorite VRBOs stays ever. 10/10 would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great outdoor spaces

We enjoyed the cleanliness of the property including all of the outdoor furnishings which were clean and in great condition. The neighborhood was quiet and the house felt safe as it's tucked behind locked gates. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to answer questions. We enjoyed the front deck with an ocean view and the secluded backyard with lovely landscaping. We would prefer self check-in rather than meeting someone. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Colorful Coastal Cottage

My husband and I stayed a week in April, our third time at this wonderful cottage in Ocean Beach. It is becoming our home when we visit to be with family in San Diego. It is always charming, comfortable, clean, with great amenities, beautiful views of the ocean, and lovely outdoor space to relax in. Rachel is an outstanding host. We highly recommend it as a home base and great location in San Diego.

Lovely stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cottage! Everything about the place was very thoughtfully done- The beds were comfortable, a good variety of pillows for stomach or back sleepers, and great outdoor seating. There were a number of considerate “extras” that made our stay more convenient since we had flown in and didn’t have our typical belongings- we appreciated a sound machine, beach blanket and a soft-sided cooler to name a few. The location is wonderful! We were able to walk to Sunset Cliffs, tide pools, and a nice little grocery store. Plus, the Ocean Beach strip was a fun place to visit with some tasty restaurants. The owner had some great recommendations to help us find places to visit. Highly recommend!

Spring Break 2024

We loved this property! The host was wonderful and easy to work with. We had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The front and back yards are nicely landscaped and furnished and really adds to property's charm. The beds are very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway in this beach town - our cottage is perfect for you. The neighborhood is mostly owner occupied, with families and OBceans that have lived here for generations. On certain nights, you can hear the waves crashing on the cliffs.

The immaculate cottage was redecorated in Nov 2019 with all new furnishings and amenities. The classic original kitchen and bathroom counters lend to the old school beach vibe. The shower and toilets are brand new. The large backyard is great for outdoor dining and relaxing, as well as the large front decks for soaking up the So Cal sunsets!
