DER RAUM
Das Casa Vista Azul ist eine traditionelle balinesische Villa auf 4 Etagen mit einem 2-stöckigen Poolhaus und individuell gestalteten Möbeln aus exotischem Hartholz und Originalkeramik. Jedes Detail dieser Villa strahlt Ruhe und Frieden aus und bietet einen Ort, an dem Sie schöne Momente mit Ihren Lieben verbringen können, sowie einen persönlichen, kontemplativen Raum für Yoga und Lesen. Der Poolbereich ist wirklich eine Oase mit einem Wasserfall und wunderschönen Gärten. Der Pool verfügt über einen Schwimmbereich für Runden und einen flachen Bereich für kleine Kinder mit viel Schatten und einer Sonnenterrasse. Die obersten drei Ebenen der Villa bieten einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Nationalpark Manuel Antonio und den Pazifischen Ozean.

DIE NACHBARSCHAFT
Der Pacific Canyon Drive ist ein privates Wohnviertel an der Hauptstraße Manuel Antonio. Es ist eine Gemeinschaft von Expats, die den Komfort eines modernen Luxuslebens in einer tropischen Strandstadt suchen. Alle Annehmlichkeiten und Notwendigkeiten sind mit dem Bus, Taxi oder zu Fuß erreichbar.

It was a fabulous house. And an accommodated all of us very well. The layout was a little different than what we had seen. Which way I gave it a four, but it still worked for our family. We had a chef for breakfast and dinner who were wonderful. And that was helpful for us and the chefs were so friendly and the food was delicious. The pool was a highlight for our kids. They like the beach, but they love the pool. It was also nice to have an air-conditioned living room as well as the outdoor living area. I would highly recommend this house too for large groups or big families. The location was also great. Great we had great views could walk to anywhere.

Great Stay!

The house was great, just very much in the jungle. Would have liked to not have as much wildlife as we did. House is very nice, and the Chef Sarah was great. David the host was also great, he helped us with our every wish.

True Luxury

I've stayed at several rentals over the years. This property and management far exceeds anything we've stayed at in the past. The home is so thoughtfully designed with ample space for slumber and relaxation. The staff are incredibly friendly and fantastic as what they do. We hired a chef -- Jorge and David - and were blown away at their menu planning and delicious and beautiful preparation. We had 5 kids between our families and they had such an unbelievable time. We could see Macaws, Toucans, monkeys, hummingbirds from the balcony. The pool was so lovely. Can't say enough good things!

Amazing Treehouse

This house was so perfect for the 3 families we traveled to Costa Rica with. This house is so unique and the views from the top 3 floors were magical. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. We were visited daily with 3 different types of monkeys in our trees, toucans, macaws, sloths and so much more. Valerie and Ricky ensured everything was perfect for us. The chefs that we arranged for 2 days were amazing. The cleaning service daily was such a nice bonus- they were amazing. Excellent location as well! The walk to the top of the road was not too bad and the restaurants located within 10 min walk of the house were so good. This was definitely an amazing experience!

Best 30th Birthday Trip

Its hard to know where to start but lets begin with the photos don't do the house justice. Every day waking up in this house was magical and a great experience. With this house being truly as amazing as it is, the concierge staff was even so much better. They made planning a 13 person trip a breeze and was there whenever we needed them. From getting last minute lunch orders to scheduling catamaran cruises for us, I wouldn't know how the trip would have went without them. The housekeepers were always very nice and helpful. I could have stayed there forever. 10/10

Fabulous Villa! Wonderful Host!

Our multi-generational family of 10 loved this property and highly recommend it! It's beautiful and spacious and has a lovely view of the ocean. We really enjoying hanging out in the open-air living space on the top floor and had several visits from capuchin & spider monkeys! The bedrooms are all very comfortable. We had a private chef, Estaban, make delicious dinners and breakfasts for us every day, which was fabulous. Well worth it! Ricky is an excellent host - very personable, funny, helpful, and always available to answer questions or call taxis for us. Valerie was great too in helping us to arrange our activities/excursions. Don't hesitate - book this incredible villa!

Make sure you love the outdoors

If you do not like the outdoors then this house is not for you. If you love outdoors you will love this house. There is only one TV in the whole house. The pool was so dirty we couldn't swim in it the whole trip. Ants will take over and we kept things clean and free of food. There were ants and termites in the cabinets all over the dishes. The worst part of the trip was there was a scorpion in my bed in the master bedroom. It was huge and i have no idea how it got in there. Be prepared for bugs and monkeys coming in the house. The chef was awesome. The food was so good. David responded quickly anytime we needed him. Hot water and water pressure for the showers was always a problem. cleaning staff was m.

Memorable vacation at Casa Vista Azul !

Oh what a wonderful experience it was to stay at Casa Vista Azul! Everyone at Escape Villas made our stay very special. From Ricky the host who in his fun, boisterous way was attentive to every detail. He checked on us all the time. Filled us in on all we needed to know. And got us last minute reservations when we asked. To our chef Esteban who cooked amazing meals . He is the Best. To the cleaning staff who kept everything neat and organized. The house is lovely. Set among the jungle. Charming furnishings. Lush vegetation. Great views of the ocean. And monkeys visiting at leisure :) How can you ask for anything more !!! We were 12 people with different interests. The house was big so we were not on top of each other. Everyone did their own thing during the day and then we would gather around the huge dining table to enjoy togetherness and share delicious meals. Manuel Antonio is a great area for vacationing. Right in the middle of a huge National Park. It is quiet. And it is gorgeous. And the people of Costa Rica are so nice and gracious. Definitely a place to visit again and again

Fantastic house - wonderful vacation

This is an amazing house, and our group of 14 had a fantastic time. Carmen took beautiful care of everything, Esteban cooked us delicious meals every day. And before we even arrived, Valerie was incredible in organizing our transportation and activities. Not an easy task with so many people, and we had last minute changes that she helped us figure out. We couldn't have done it without her. The house looks just like the pictures - though even better. Monkeys visited several times during our week stay, which was incredible for us. We spent much time in the pool and the upstairs living area. There was plenty of room and seating for everyone. Beds and linens were lovely. I will say that this doesn't seem like a good property for small children (though they had a high chair), with it's many steep stairs. And for us (maybe it was the heat?), the walk up to the restaurants and stores was a killer. We only did it once, and we were soaked in sweat. So we relied on taxis and busses to get us around. And groceries get delivered quickly from any of the nearby stores. I will forever miss the view! Thanks for an amazing week.

Family Dream Vacation

This property was an absolutely beautiful location for this year's family vacation. We felt like one with nature. Early mornings and afternoons brough visits from Capuchin and Howler Monkeys and occasional visits from Squirrel Monkeys. So thrilling! Also, this property is centrally located and close to all amenities including markets, shopping, and quick taxi ride to Espadilla Beach.All excursions booked through the concierge were worth every penny; reasonably priced and most times included breakfast and/or lunch. We did horseback riding, zip lining, 1/2 day waterfall tour, and guided tour of Manual Antonio National Park. We also hired resident chef, Esteban, to prepare both breakfast and dinner every day. He was the star of our vacation! His meals were diverse, delicious, and bountiful with plenty of leftovers. He took care of every part of the meal - setting the tables, meal preparation, clearing the table, and cleaning the kitchen. Our only job was to enjoy the food. We were a party of twelve and we definitely saved money by hiring him. High end restaurant quality food for a budget friendly price. The housekeeping team were very thorough and accommodating to any special requests. The house has had a nice refresh and some photos of the spaces do not reflect that. The upper level of the pool house is different and probably should not be counted as a sleeping option as it is not weather tight and more of a lounge space.

Paradise Perfection!

It’s incredibly hard to describe perfection. The entire team involved was exceptional, professional, and organized. Concierge provided a diverse list of excursions and Chef options that can be made simple through their expertise and support. The property manager was quick to respond to all inquiries and followed through on all request with kindness and diligence. The Chef and entire staff were awesome and most of the time didn’t know they were there (still not sure how they could be so quiet and efficient). The property is breathtaking. Huge open air first floor common area and kitchen with magnificent views of the Manuel Antonio beach and ocean. Howler and white-faced monkeys greeted us early morning most days. All bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The pool has a serene waterfall and the draping foliage made us feel as if we were in the jungle. The pool house offered a pace to escape the heat and provided convenience with its partial kitchen and full bath. The decor and furniture were high quality and brought comfort to the environment. Location was close to local restaurants, bars, shopping and short drive to beaches or 20ish minute walk. A huge THANK YOU to the entire team!! Every guest had nothing but exceptional remarks on the experience. We’lol be back!

EXCELLENT STAY, GREAT CHEF, WORKED AWESOME FOR A LARGE GROUP

The house was perfect for our group of 15. Everyone had their own suite. The multi-levels, gave us some privacy and common gathering areas. We were 7 couples. The chef was great. He does not talk much, but he cooks whatever you want however you want. I would never travel with a group this large without a chef. The management agency is at the entrance which makes it easy. Ricki will get you whatever you want or need. He got all of us on a boat and took care of massages. The cleaning staff was great. This is a big house to clean, but they were on top of it everyday. The kitchen has doors that close to keep the monkeys out. The living and dining areas are open. We had visitors every night. Two kinds of monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and others. The main asset is the view. The view is amazing. You can walk (uphill) to bars and restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, and early nightlife. Stay away from the Bylbos Casino. We watched them deal out of turn with marked cards. You can drive to the beach in town, or the one in the hotel district. All within 3 minutes. Our only disappointments were the waterfall and pool. We really wish the waterfall was working. They tried to get it going, but it appears the problem is much greater than it appears. The pool is a little smaller than we thought, but it did the job. there is a longer area for laps, and a communal area.

We thank you for your excellent review and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of the waterfall. After 10 years of great, and almost constant service ( old faithful :)), our waterfall developed a leak and we had to temporarily shut it off during your stay. We are currently fixing it and hope to have it working this week. The staff at Escape Villas appreciates all comments and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Casa Vista Azul.

Amazing family vacation at Casa Vista Azul!

We recently took a family vacation to Costa Rica and stayed at Casa Vista Azul. We were initially worried about committing such a large dollar amount from a distance, but Fernando and Valerie eased our concerns and helped make the booking simple. Valerie was also very useful helping arrange for car to and from the airport, and for activities when we were there. We had children under 10, and seniors over 80 (8 guests total). In terms of the house, it was much better than the pictures and exceeded our expectations! The beach was a short drive, and groceries were super close. Having a car available/rented was a plus. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the view was wonderful. Having the maid Carmen there every day ensured the house remained spotless - she was great. Chef Esteban was amazing, making us breakfast and dinner each day - we didn't eat anywhere else, and have no regrets. Each day, we had fun picking a menu for the following day, and again, the food was spectacular. On a fishing trip that Valerie booked for us, we caught a LOT of fresh yellow-fin tuna, which Esteban turned into two wonderful dinners - what a treat. We also saw thousands of dolphin on the trip and my son landed a 250 pound Blue Marlin. I would highly recommend taking a fishing trip. Finally, Ricky checked in with us every other day, acting as quarterback for our entire trip, ensuring that everything was in order with the house, and that we were getting the most out of Costa Rica. He addressed any issues, any time, and was easily reachable when anything unexpected transpired. Monkeys frolicked around the house, and into the main living area on occasion, and the howler monkeys complimented the bird and insect orchestra. In all, we had an amazing and memorable trip, we would definitely return to Casa Vista Azul, and we would definitely use Escape Villas again. Book with confidence.

Large Family Trip

Overall we were very pleased and would give this a four out of five star. The property was a little more dated than we expected but very functional for a family of 19. Kids had a great time in the pool, wish the waterfall had been functional but no big deal. The house staff and chef were great to work with. Needless to say, the ocean view as well as rain forest surrounding the house with all three species of monkeys, toucans, and other various wildlife was great. One heads up: the elevator was unreliable and therefore if it were deemed essential, i.e., one could not do stairways I would be cautious. For us it turned out not to be a big deal, but just a heads up. Overall, would recommend without reservation.

We just loved this property! The location was fantastic and the pictures don’t do it justice. The view is beyond spectacular. The staff was amazing and helpful. We especially enjoyed our dinners with Chef Jorge and Kim - they make our experience exceptionally amazing with their hospitality and outstanding food!
