Willkommen in Mimi's Cottage! Diese charmante Hütte mit 4 Schlafzimmern befindet sich zwischen Boone und Blowing Rock, nur wenige Minuten von der Stadt und allen lokalen Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. Wenn Sie nach einer rustikalen Blockhütte suchen, die Privatsphäre und alle erdenklichen Annehmlichkeiten bietet, brauchen Sie nicht weiter zu suchen!

Die Hauptebene verfügt über ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer, eine Küche und das Hauptschlafzimmer. Das Wohnzimmer hat einen Gaskamin und gemütliche Möbel. Die Küche mit Edelstahlgeräten ist voll ausgestattet mit allem, was Sie zum Zubereiten einer köstlichen hausgemachten Mahlzeit benötigen. Es gibt einen Esstisch für 6 und 3 weitere Sitzplätze an der Bar. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, ein komplettes Badezimmer und einen Flachbildfernseher, der mit einem Roku verbunden ist. Im Obergeschoss finden Sie zwei zusätzliche Queen-Schlafzimmer mit einem gemeinsamen Bad. Im Dachgeschoss gibt es einen Shuffleboard-Tisch und einen Kickertisch für regnerische Tagesunterhaltung.

Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und ein Badezimmer. Auf dieser Ebene befindet sich auch ein zweiter Wohnbereich mit zwei Sofas und einem 65-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher, der an ein Sonos-Surround-Soundsystem, einen Blu-Ray-Player und eine Playstation 4 angeschlossen ist! Dieser Bereich ist der perfekte Ort für die Kinder zum Abhängen oder für einen Familienfilmabend. Draußen auf dem Deck können Sie nach einem langen Sightseeing-Tag im 4-Sitzer-Whirlpool entspannen oder auf den herrlichen Wegen im ganzen Hochland wandern. Auf dem Deck steht Ihnen auch ein Gasgrill zur Verfügung.

Die Lage ist wichtig für Familienausflüge und Mimi's Cottage bietet genau das! App Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Mystery Hill und vieles mehr sind nur wenige Autominuten entfernt! Dieses Haus bietet wirklich alles, was Ihre Familie und Freunde brauchen, um einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu haben und wird Sie für die kommenden Jahre wiederkommen lassen!

Check-In ist um 16:00 Uhr und Check-Out um 10:00 Uhr.
Genügend Parkplätze für maximal 4 Fahrzeuge.

Fabulous stay!

A group of friends and I LOVED our time at Mimi's Cottage. The cabin was adorable and spacious - we were pleasantly surprised that it even was decorated for the Holidays. Checking in and out was very smooth, and we love how close the property is to downtown Boone and Blowing Rock. Definitely recommend 4WD in winter months, as the hosts recommended as well!

Weekend getaway

We loved Mimi’s cottage! The layout was great and the location was super convenient! My 5 year old loved the hot tub. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Perfect weekend getaway

Very cute cabin! Loved having the 3 levels so everyone had their own space. The huge windows make you want to relax w a cup of coffee and gaze out all day!

Great rental! Great for pets!

Mimi’s Cottage was great! Very quiet neighborhood that was private. Close proximity to both Boone and Blowing Rock. Felt very comfortable walking the dogs in the neighborhood and the gated deck was perfect for them as well! Home was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin!

We had a lovely time at Mimis cottage! Experienced an ice storm our first night which kept us indoors a lot and the views were still enjoyable from inside. The tv room in the basement was enjoyed nightly with family movie nights. All meals were cooked/prepared at the house and the kitchen had it all. Great place!

Wonderful mountain weekend

We really enjoyed our stay! Mimi’s Cottage was clean and delivered an excellent experience. The only area for concern was the lack of heat for the bottom floor. One of our couples was unable to come so it worked out but with no heat for the 4th BR we will have to find another house next year. A TV in the living room would also be a nice addition. We froze when we did watch a ballgame downstairs. But we still had a great time!

Great cabin, great amenities, great location

We had a great weekend in the mountains with our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandkids. The cabin is very well appointed and well laid out to accommodate all of us. The grandkids enjoyed the hot tub, foosball table and big screen TV. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, silverware, pots/pans, etc.. if you want to stay in and prepare meals. Had both a Keurig and drip coffee maker. The dining room table was perfect for board games. We stayed in mid-December and the Christmas tree and decorations were a pleasant surprise. The cabin is located within an easy drive to downtown Boone (shopping and restaurants!). Be advised, the road up is steep and narrow - we brought tire chains in case, but thankfully didn't need them. We were a little disappointed in the level of cleanliness, but have addressed this with the management company as its their responsibility. The twin bed mattresses were really uncomfortable and should be replaced. Also, the cabin is a little smaller than the impression you get from the pictures, but it worked out fine for the 6 of us.

Spring Break at Mimi’s Cabinet

Wonderful location for skiing, snowboarding, doing tourist things, and just hanging out! Nice furnace in the front room is cozy but parents of small toddlers need to bring a gate to keep little ones at a social distance- no harm just preventative. Love the deck, hot tub etc- just perfect for viewing deer, rabbits and occasional bear traveling by. Think we will come back again! Thanks for the restful week!

not ready for winter

the roads wasn't clean from the snow and neither the driveway. we didn't find the remotes for the tv's, the rooms were really small. house size not big enough for 8 ppl. and other things we didn't enjoy.

Recent stay

While the property was beautiful, the kitchen counter tops were dirty and had bugs on them. I was disappointed only 1 wash cloth and 1 towel were available per guest. I understand we need to do laundry, when on vacation you don’t want to have to do that every day. Recommend adding additional towels and washcloths. Also washing detergent would have been nice. I have stayed at other cabins and all laundry supplies were provided. The location is great and I would stay again. Just a couple of things that would make the stays a little less inconvenient. Great Family home

Although we had a minor panic attack everytime we parked down the slope and had to back out (because we had 2 cars we couldn't turn around) onto mountain road, we loved this house. close to everything, luckily no snow on mountain so our minivan was fine, otherwise 4x4 needed.
