Enjoyed fishing from the little dock. Did not enjoy the sprinklers coming on and soaking us and our chairs while fishing in the evening as it was cold.

Stay at Puente Vista!

This particular property has been kept well. It does need lots of updates specially in the bathrooms. The property was clean and organized. However, we did come across 3-4 cockroaches which was NOT pleasant at all. Specially when traveling with two babies. We did enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the beach was priceless.

Here at the coast, palmetto bugs can be very common. While they are ugly pests, they are not reflective of hygiene or cleanliness. Often, we find these pests near water sources, for example: in the bathrooms or in the kitchen, as they are attracted to moist and humid areas. Palmetto bugs aren’t looking for unclean areas so much as they are looking for food crumbs and water. If you have found dead palmetto bugs, this is a sign that pest control is working. Our homes here are serviced by pest control regularly, to cut back on these pests. While they are unpleasant to see, they can be very common even in the nicest of homes. Great unit on ground level!

This first level unit fit the needs of our stay! The beds were the most comfortable I’ve stayed in in a long time. Everything from the showers, towels, appliances, kitchen items and AC were great. If I had any upgrades to suggest, for those of us who use these units as fishermen with a boat, would be a cleaning table and garden hose with nozzle at the dock. We certainly made due and not a dealbreaker by any means but would have been a nice addition.

The unit we agreed to stay at did not have a washer/dryer as advertised. The unit had the bare basics and no towel hooks in one bathroom. The furniture was in disrepair. Unit was not very comfortable as indicated. We were both sick with colds/flu which didn’t help. Hopefully our next trip will be better.😁

Just your average canal

Upon check in we loved that the location is right off the canal. Unfortunately, huge flies inundated the guest bedroom beyond belief. It’s almost like they were getting through somewhere because every time we came in there were soooo much. Tv was broken in guest bedroom which was unfortunate because my kids count on that for game time when we aren’t out and about. Water pressure was low. Didn’t ever have pool access because keys did not work for the pool. Location is great to the island but I don’t think I would stay again due to the small inconveniences.

Water line being fixed with no communication

On my second day of the stay the water was turned off with no communication. I needed to shower for a meeting so ended up needing to rent another hotel room . The plumbers were there the day before so this wasn’t an emergency fix. If it had been communicated to me I could have worked around the issue.

Cute back patio but that’s about it

Back patio is adorable and right on the waterfront and they provided nice towels for the pool. The rest of it was a major letdown. A/C didn’t work properly, one bedroom was frigid and the other bedroom was too warm (we checked the vents to be sure they were open). Sheets were scratchy and didn’t seem to be freshly cleaned which was upsetting. Some of the dishes were dirty. Showers were also not clean and the water pressure was aggressive, borderline painful in one of them. Fridge wasn’t fully cleaned out, there was no laundry in-unit as it said in the listing, and the list goes on. Just seemed as though the owner is not very concerned with the quality of their rental, which is a bummer because it seemed like it would be a good place for us to stay. Pretty upset considering the rental rate. Hoping they fix these issues for guests in the future.

Great Spot

We loved the patio and the dock. Great for relaxing! We had a couple issues (nothing deal breaking) and Vacasa sent someone out and fixed it that day. The location was close to everything we needed. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Oldie but Goodie

This property was older and a little rough around the edges (garge door and flooring to patio) but perfect for our family of 4. Very basic but has everything you need. Beds and furniture were comfortable and location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. We would stay here again.

Quick trip

It was our last weekend before our foreign exchange student leaves & we could only stay 1 night. I’m so glad this unit didn’t have a minimum stay. The condo was up to date & very clean. It definitely served its purpose. The fishing piers were a plus. The pool was nice & clean. The condo was adequately stocked with kitchen utensils & cooking pots/pans. The condo sleeps 6, but only has a table for 4. The only thing I would change is the community washer/dryer…it’s way more convenient when the condo has a washer/dryer. We would definitely stay in this unit again.
