Redwood Breakers Unit 27, Lot 009 (früher bekannt als Lupine am Meer) Das Redwood Breakers liegt an einem privaten Ende der Sackgasse, umrahmt von einer wunderschönen Bergwiese und einem Küstenwald und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer. Dieses Meisterwerk eines Hauses wurde vom berühmten Sea Ranch-Architekten Steve Brodie von Grund auf neu gestaltet und umgestaltet. Das Haus verfügt über zwei separate Schlafzimmer-Suiten mit jeweils eigenem Bad. Die Master-Suite verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen großen Fensterplatz und bietet einen unverbauten Blick auf den Pazifik. Das Badezimmer ist komplett ausgestattet mit zwei Waschbecken, einer großen Dusche, Fußbodenheizung und Handtuchwärmer für Ihren Komfort. Die Gästesuite ist außerdem mit einem Kingsize-Bett und einem großen Fenster mit Blick auf die angrenzenden Redwoods ausgestattet. Der geräumige Wohnbereich mit herrlichem Blick auf das Meer ist hell und geschmackvoll von der lokalen Innenarchitektin Gayle Forster eingerichtet. Das Haus verfügt über einen Fernstart-Gaskamin, einen 55-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher, einen Blu-Ray- / DVD-Player und ein 5,1-Zoll-Dolby-Digital-Surround-Soundsystem mit eingebauten Lautsprechern in der Küche, im Hauptschlafzimmer und auf der Außenterrasse. Die Gourmetküche verfügt über hochmoderne GE-Geräte, eine große zentrale Insel, und bietet einen wunderschönen Meerblick. Ein privates Arbeitszimmer befindet sich neben dem Hauptwohnbereich und verfügt über einen großen Schreibtisch und zwei französische Türen aus Milchglas. Der praktische Schlammraum hat einen eigenen Eingang im Freien und verfügt über eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner in voller Größe sowie einen Weinkühler. Zu den exklusiven Wohnbereichen im Freien gehören eine Panorama-Terrasse mit Meerblick und ein Essbereich sowie ein umzäunter, wunderschön gepflegter privater japanischer Vorgarten mit einer Terrasse, einem Brunnen und einer Außendusche. Zu den Annehmlichkeiten des Hauses zählen ein Propangrill, kostenloses Highspeed-Internet, ein kostenloser Inlandstelefonservice und DirecTV. The design, the views, the decor, the amenities. Everything was exactly what we needed to enjoy a two night getaway. We walked, we lounged, we cooked, and stared out at the view and laughed at the quail running around outside...and my son played with well stocked games. We loved that we could bring our dog with us and that the house was equipped to handle pets.

Attention to detail, comfortable, beds were great, kitchen was exceptional and architecture was amazing. We have been coming to Sea Ranch since 1977, owned here for 10 yrs, and renting now when we come and this is the best house ever!

Two weeks in this architecturally beautiful house with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean from most rooms … including the amazingly well appointed Kitchen … was a wonderful experience. The owners have beautiful art, rugs and an extensive library. There is a majestic Redwood forest behind the house that you get glimpses of from the clear story windows.The only downside is just some over due maintenance of a house that has been enjoyed by many. The Living Room furniture is worn out and not comfortable to sit on, the appliances are at the end of their life and the once beautiful garden is overgrown. All easy fixes. We still give our stay at Redwood Breakers five stars. The nice folks at Beach Rentals were great … clear and timely communication and happy to help in any way once we were there. Sea Ranch at it’s best! We will rent Redwood Breakers again.

The only negative for us was a pet odor that we found to be somewhat unpleasant, centered around one of the couches. The weather was mild, so airing out the home took care of the issue. Otherwise, it was perfect!

We have been renting in Sea Ranch for almost 30 years and of all the houses we've been to, this is a real winner.It's on the hill and we had wonderful days looking at the view. It is really easy to get to the bluff trail both on foot and there are several access trails with parking.We've always travelled with a bag of kitchen supplies in the past because usually some things we want are not available, but this house has everything we needed. The hot tub in the fenced in front yard is great, the garden is beautiful and serene. The layout of the house is also great with high ceilings and lots of lights. The bathrooms are also very good (loved the skylight in the shower). We did not watch any movies,just listened to music (best soundbar ever)We always bring our dog, and he had a wonderful time too, especially using the trail close to the house to explore the forest.Last, but not least, Beach Rentals is awesome to work with: professional, responsive,and personable.We'll be back soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family went up for my husband’s birthday. The house was so beautiful, very well equipped with everything you could ever need. The location and view were amazing, and it was way more spectacular than what we had envisioned. The only reason I gave a 4 star rating is because there were tiny animal droppings on the duvet in the guest room, which was a bit disturbing. There was some dog hair on the sheets in that room as well, which didn’t bother us as much, since we have a dog ourselves. We stripped the bed of the duvet that first night, and housekeeping came by the next morning and gave us a fresh one. I also found the same tiny droppings in the pantry on the day we were leaving. I informed the lady at the rental office when I returned the key, and hopefully that issue has been addressed. I don’t want to dissuade anybody from going here, as it really is a beautiful house, but think I owe an explanation of the 4 star rating. We would definitely go back again.

As our Housekeeping staff are consistently vigilant for indiscretions in the form of pests in all the homes we represent, especially homes in woodland environments, we were disturbed to hear you observed pest detritus in the home, significantly in areas of privacy and health. We pride ourselves on our meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of homes we offer, prominently and primarily cleanliness. An immaculate, pest-free presentation goes a long way to ensuring commodious, restful homes for the colleagues we welcome to our coast. We aim to offer not only comfort but pleasant memories. You may be heartened to know that we employed a professional to perform a comprehensive inspection of Redwood Breakers in order to rid the home entirely of rodents and other woodland denizens. He will plug all ports of pest entry he finds. We are confident his efforts will restore the home to Beach Rentals' standards of cleanliness. If you want NetFlix or Apple TV bring your own log-in credentials. Ant infestation is so bad you can’t leave anything on the kitchen counters. Learned the hard way when a box of 2 Fish pastries was overwhelmed 30 minutes after putting it down. Two lights in the great room burned out. Setting thermostat for heating needs instructions; none provided. Garden/courtyard needs attention; leaves on the ground got tracked everywhere.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful ! Beautifully designed. Loved the architecture. Loved it from the moment I walked through the gate. I did miss being able to easily watch live TV., but that’s ok. And there were times it was very chilly in the house and we couldn’t get the heat up. BUT, plenty of hot water. I would recommend to anyone.
