I had stayed at this property 2 years ago and maintenance has declined. Mismatched color on paint shade coverups on walls. No foil or plastic wrap. No soap in main floor bath.

This property was very clean inside. The exterior needed some help with the window screens and maintenance of the enclose courtyard. The vegetation has taken ove the yard. It is a perfect size for having a dog with you and not having to worry about them. The garbage enclosure needs a better way to keep the wildlife from knocking over the cans and spreading trash around. Communication with the host was excellent and responses were quick. The kitchen was well stocked with untensils and equipment. The location was excellent and the pool at the Del Mar Community Center was really a plus. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful house, well laid out, felt like you were in a tree house with all sides having great views! Great cross ventilation upstairs, well appointed kitchen. We would stay here again! Hot tub location was fantastic but took one full day to heat up which was frustrating as we had to talk with management for the first 24 hours. King bed needs to be replaced soon as had little support. Chairs in living room aren't made for those over 6 feet tall which was a problem.

The house is wonderful but the great view from the two windows in the living room (as shown on the website)is misleading. Tall shrubs cover the windows. When I contacted the host, they informed me that the owners will not cut back the shrubs, "due to privacy issues." That doesn't make sense, as the living room is on the second floor. The picture on the website needs to be changed to show how it truly looks.

A previous renter wrote a less than flattering review in June regarding a broken microwave, torn window screens and malfunctioning stove. Concerned, I contacted the owner who assured us all the stated issues were fixed. Upon arriving, we were impressed with the “prosumer” Viking stove, very nice inverter microwave, and the well furnished and overall modern kitchen. The house was clean and did not smell, the rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. The courtyard was comfortable. The rear deck had a clean hot tub for relaxation after a day of hiking and biking. The front parking area had more than enough room for two midsized SUVs. The location was strategically convenient with Gualala and the SR Lodge being easily accessible either by car or hike/bike. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay celebrating my wife’s 50th birthday. We definitely would consider renting Sea Drift again.

Great house at the Sea Ranch with close proximity to the walking trail! House was super clean and comfortable. Stocked kitchen with your basic necessities. The hosts were also very responsive! We loved it here and would absolutely stay again!

The host was very accessible, immediately answering questions, first class. The house was comfortable and very close to the coastal trails. We we delighted by our stay. The facilities are a little older, but everything functioned.

Pleasant stay

House was spacious and close to the main walk along the cliffs and Gualala Park. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook meals and the living room comfortable with a smart tv. Beds were v comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub.

Lovely retreat in Sea Ranch

We had a great time staying at the Sea Drifter! The house was comfortable, the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked and location is great -- a five-minute walk to the bluffs and Sea Ranch's amazing coastal trails. Would highly recommend.

Great for the family

I stayed here with two young children and partner. We enjoyed the location in Sea Ranch (2 minute walk to the Bluff trail; 8 minute walk to the pool) and its private hot tub. The place was clean and comfortable. Communication with Grand Welcome was easy. We would stay here again.

Relaxing stay with beautiful ocean views.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Drifter and only with it could have been longer. Close to the bluff trail and minutes from beautiful Walk-On Beach.... Great blue water views from kitchen, dining/living room, and master bedroom. Hope to visit again!

Excellent house and location. There was a problem with the septic sewer system which was fixed by local plumbers after we called Grand Welcome. The hot tub is not impressive as it is clearly a 120 vs 220 watt so it would lose heat after a while.
