Unser Haus auf 2 Ebenen ist ein Haus mit 4 Schlafzimmern und 1 ½ Bädern, nur wenige Minuten von der Ohio State University, dem Scioto Country Club, dem Maphre Stadium, der Nationwide Arena, COSI und vielem mehr entfernt. Das Hotel liegt in einer großartigen Gegend, weniger als 1,6 km von der I-70 entfernt. Dieses Haus ist ideal für Fußballspiele im US-Bundesstaat Ohio, Hochzeiten, Familientreffen, Abschlussfeiern und vieles mehr! Wir freuen uns, Sie bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen. Comfortable and clean. Mom Dad and kids staid upstairs. Nana and Grandad were downstairs. Kitchen worked for cooking Thanksgiving dinner for eight.

Convenient & Spacious for Weekend Trip

Stayed here for a guys golf weekend and was the perfect homebase. Plenty of room for 4 of us to spread out and have our own spaces. Dining & Living Room set up was great for hanging out and relaxing. Great central location to everywhere we were going in Columbus.

Not accurate photographs

The property was not as clean as the photographs depict. The entire house could use a deep clean (dust on fans, rust in shower, cobwebs in corners, etc). The couch is falling apart. It was too cold to use the swing set, however, by the appearance it did not seem safe to have kids playing on it anyway. The price was right but would not stay again

Family Get away

It was a family vacation (ages from 10 months to 80 yr old). If you are bring small children…. a child gate will be very handy, since there is a flight of stairs from living area to front door. Swing set is missing some bolts, so not to safe. No outside furniture and some of the blinds has some pieces missing. The place was clean

Good Property

We had a good stay. Property was clean and host responded in a timely manner. Please pay attention that there is only 1 full and 1 half bath, no laundry and property is non-refundable as soon as you book. Otherwise it was a good experience!

Jordans home met every expectation. The home was clean and comfortable. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and only took a few minutes to get to downtown Columbus. We will be back again soon!

Good stay

More than enough room for family. Spacious bedrooms, nice decor, quiet neighborhood, well provided utensils and amenities. They even provided a bottle of wine. Just a few things needed repairs. The sink in the basement was a bit clogged and the sliding glass door going from the indoor porch to outside was very difficult to open and close. But overall everything was nice. I would recommend it.

Not like pictures

Not exactly like the pictures. Couch had rips and crumbs all under the cushions. Several walls and trims looked run down. Downstairs carpet smelled like animal pee. The shower didn’t drain properly. The porch door was off the track and we couldn’t even open it. Downstairs bathroom door was very hard to open once shut. Everyone’s bags downstairs had ants all in them. Location was close to everything we needed, and the neighborhood was decent. Jordan was pretty quick to respond when texted and allowed us to check in early. Overall, it was just okay, but I was disappointed it didn’t look like the pictures.

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE

Absolutely HORRID conditions, listed as non smoking but the unit was filled with Marijuana smoke which is not only illegal in the state of Ohio but smells horribly. Further that the owner left blunt papera in the bedroom drawers eloquently found by my 7 year old child. The dishes were dirty. There are hundreds of rentals in Ohio, please do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere!

Great Long Weekend Stay

We really enjoyed our stay here! Jordan was responsive and helpful. The listing is accurate and photos are as well. It has a very cozy, lived in feel to it. I feel like some of the “older home aesthetics” of this property were misconstrued in some other reviews. Everything is in working condition and the home is safe and clean. We stayed with our 3 and 6 year old, as well as our pup. Would help those planning on putting younger kids in the bunk room to bring a small outlet night light, but we just moved a small lamp from another room there and it worked fine. We figured out on our last day that the switch in the dining room also turned on the patio lights near the bedroom - so helpful info for future stayers. Last pointer, if staying with pets - check the Nest AC controls. I think the “no one home” sensors are set to a really high temp and our crated dog probably got a little more heated than he should have - we just didn’t think to check that (we should have - we have a Nest and home 🤦‍♀️). The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Access to check in is through a door code, which was convenient considering our late arrival. We had no issue with the 1.5 bathroom situation for our small family, nor with the lack of washer/dryer or the non-refundable once booked policy. All were clearly spelled out in the listing and allowed us to plan appropriately. :) Fenced in yard was perfect for our pup. Nice set of supplies in kitchen, and a bonus bottle of wine and water were provided. ❤️

Host Jordan Cancelled last minute

I contacted the host Jordan a few hours before leaving for our destination as he hadn't sent any infor for accessing the property. After several hkurs he replied back, "Calender glitch. Double booked" and refunded our mo ey. These reservations had been made and accepted months in advanced. Payment had been made and processed. Jordan left us stranded with no place to stay hours before we were to check in. Customer service afterward was terrible. I was forced to find last minute accomodations for 5 people on my own. Because of Jordan I will never use VRBO again.

Good time, despite shortcomings

We booked this property because it claimed to sleep 13. Then a few in our group needed to drop due to health issues. It’s a “good” thing they were unable to join because there were not enough beds for 13 to sleep comfortably. Ten max, we figured after being in the house. The property owner was not responsive to us, nor VRBO when they contacted him about a request that was never acknowledged. This despite being labeled as a “premier host,” a badge earned by being responsive. If you are considering renting this property, be aware the tub is rusting, and the significant caulking around the tub barely masks the mold. In the room with the bunk beds, the top bunk does not have a safety bar and it is very close to the ceiling fan, so we would not recommend using the top bunk if you are running the fan. A nightlight in this room was difficult, since the electrical outlets “shut off” when you switch off the lights. Seems the electrical system needs a close look. Generally the home is “ok.” It is not very clean. All walls had scuff marks. In the front entrance we found cobwebs and dirt. Glasses in the cupboards were dirty. In spite of all this, our family enjoyed our stay. The (real) beds were comfortable. The table was large enough for 8-9 people to share meals and play board games. Also the location was great. Nice neighborhood and minutes from the key things we wanted to see (COSI and German Village.)

Renter beware/Don’t believe the photos/maintained like a college frat house

This property is far from adequate for familiesThere is a Foul odor when you first walk in. The couches gross. The walls look like they haven’t been cared for in years.The kitchen has ant traps on the floors (definitely not safe for little children who crawl)there is Roach spray under the sinkwhich means.The bathroom has dirty shower curtains, the bAth tub has rust thru-out the bottom of the tub.Carpets are not clean. then Going to the lower level, there is a closet of some sort with either a broken door or plywood completely exposing the stairway above. I couldn’t stay here with my family and wasn’t giving a refund. Owner offered a refund of the cleaning fee then took the Offer back when I told him I wanted a full refund. The house wasn’t ready when we arrived then it took forever to contact him. So we left to feed our kids while we figure things out. When we finally got a hold of him he apologized and said the place would be ready by 7pm.. then because I requested a full refund and I wasnt Sitting outside waiting for the place to be cleaned. He told me since I left(apparently me leaving the the filthy/unsafe house(for my babies)he considers “checking out”), He goes to say that he didn’t “prioritize” getting the cleaners to the house. All because I asked for a full refund. So then he tells me the house won’t be ready until 9pm. So I’m sitting in a McDonalds parking lot with crying uncomfortable babies that have been traveling all day stuck in a car and my older parents. And You know what the owner tells me,haha I have To laugh,that my babies don’t understand the situation going on and they are crying for another reason.. when I tell you this guy is a prick,he’s definitely not a nice man, if only u could see the texts between us. That was the straw that broke the camels back.. first you have no sense of urgency to make things right, then you show no regard or empathy for a situation that was created by him and his lack of maintaining his property. We went to a hotel Renter beware. When you have a business such as this, the customers well being, safety and comfort level should be your top priority. Clearly in the shape his house is, he doesn’t care about any of that. People are going to fall for the pictures he has of this home and not offer a refund back when people have the same disgusting and disappointing impression. This place hasn’t been cared for in years. Shouldn’t even qualify to be part of VRBO. Not a place for babies or older folk.
