Six stays at Crabtree and somehow it just keeps getting better. This place is truly a gem and has become one of our favorite traditions.The beach is literally your backyard, the water is crystal clear and warm, and the staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming. The host also makes everything so easy, with great communication before, during, and after the stay.There’s a reason we keep coming back year after year. Already looking forward to #7 next year!!!!!!

Beautiful, private beach, peaceful

Incredible, convenient location, so easy to get around island on golf cart or just walking. Everyone one on island was so friendly. We always felt safe and we really enjoyed the relaxing experience. The water is so beautiful!!

Lovely island

My husband and I, along with our 8 year old son, had a lovely stay at Crabtree apartments. Everything was just as the listing said and the property was quiet & clean. Grand Turk truly is one the most beautiful places!

Crabtree is the best!!

The apartments could not be more perfect for a relaxing beach getaway. We absolutely loved our time on Grand Turk. Good size for four guests, well appointed amenities, and a great central location. Not to mention what felt like the best beach on the island! It was hard to leave!

Great time, Great location

We certainly enjoyed our stay at Crabtree Apartment number three. The location was excellent to walk into town for dinner. We swam multiple times a day and the bikes were a nice addition. The bikes were in good shape and we were able to go everywhere we needed to go on them. We’re looking forward to coming back next year

LOVED IT!

Wow! What a perfect spot. We enjoyed every moment. It was so well appointed and clean. You can’t beat the beach. We went with our daughter and it was heaven.

Best location on the island

Great place right on the beach! We will definitely be coming back with friends and get all 3 of the apartments! We walked 2 miles down the beach and didn’t see another person, the dogs hung around and were very friendly. The locals were very nice . We rode the bikes that are provided everywhere. Loved our trip and very much enjoyed the Crabtree apartment!

Our forever go-to beach vacation spot

This was a third year in a row at the crab tree and really don't see a reason to stop this annual tradition. The apartments are in a prime location with the crystal clear waters at your back door and central location to everything. See you next year!

Awesome Crabtree Apartment

We always enjoy our time at the Crabtree Apartments. The apartment was sparkling clean. We loved being able to walk out of our private patio onto our almost private beach. Having access to the bicycles made getting around the island convenient. We will definitely be staying at the Crabtree again next year.

Beautiful home and view. Direct beach access out the back door. Home is as advertised , with very comfortable beds and stocked with kitchen good. Great time at Crabtree

We arrived late on Christmas Day. We ordered dinner from the graceway, Jessalyn arranged for our transportation and someone to deliver the food as we arrived after the store was closed The place is beautiful and the beach is right outside the door. We rented a golf cart for the week from Jack and he delivered it to us. Would love to come back Highly recommend Crabtree apartments Restaurants : Arches Sandbar Osprey Grand Turk inn Barbies- a great local spot Cruise port- meh Come here to unwind and listen to the waves outside

Absolutely Wonderful

Our stay was everything we hoped for! A great place for a peaceful, beautiful family vacation. We loved the beach, the dogs, the donkeys, the snorkeling, the whale watching and the neighbors. Home is clean, cute, simple… just right. Walking distance to town. Beach to ourselves most of the time. Able to visit cruise center if we needed a jolt of “resort crowds”. We rented a golf cart for the week, which was perfect for our needs…easy to go all over the island. We loved The Sand Bar as a gathering spot…took in snorkeling trips with both Grand Turk Diving and Blue Water Divers. Amazing find on the NE side: Ridge Cafe…and Amanda even set us up with Captain Tim for a successful whale watching trip. We had lovely neighbors in the other two units so were able to have a few fun evening gatherings together….and even went on a snorkeling excursion together! All in all, if you dislike the usual crowded resort experience, Grand Turk and this home are the perfect place for a quieter, laid back get away. We were so sad to leave and would love to go back.

Beautiful, relaxing beachfront

This is the most beautiful spot! The apartment is very clean and it was nice that they leave you eggs, butter, milk, and bread to get started with. They are stocked with spices, pots, and pans. The pickup at the airport by Jack was flawless and we used him a few more times during our stay. The dogs that hang around are very good, they don’t beg for food or bother you unless you reach out to them. We enjoyed the donkey’s, although the dogs do not like them hanging around lol. Having the bicycles was so nice, between that and Jack’s taxi we never even rented a car or golf cart! As was mentioned before, just be aware that the food and alcohol are very expensive at the grocery store and at restaurants. This island is for relaxing as long as you aren’t expecting a lot of options of things to do like around resorts. The best part of the apartment is the back porch area facing the beach. We spent a lot of time out there watching the beautiful water and sunsets. Any questions I had were quickly answered by the hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

Know before you go

Pros: Property is on a beautiful, secluded beach. Water is perfect. Calm and beautiful. Cons: This property is similar to a condo you would rent in Floridia. It's older but well kept. There is no air conditioning in the main living area. There is a good breeze blowing but you have to keep the doors open. The bedrooms have small window units that struggled to keep the bedrooms cool. The shower head and faucets were old, and it was a struggle to figure out how to get hot water. Our biggest complaint was there were no restaurants open unless the cruise ships were in port. Even then they closed at 4PM when the ships left. We only had one option for dinner and ate there every night. We have been traveling the Caribbean islands for 15 years. We would not recommend this property as a great vacation destination nor would return.

Hi Barry, I am sorry you were not able to visit the restaurants. I wish you had let me know, I could have led you in the right direction! There are 5 restaurants in town which is a 10 minute walk and not relevant to the schedule of the cruise ships. Grand Turk is a quiet island which is what some people like. The nice thing about this is the privacy of the beach. Thank you for visiting.

This place is pure paradise!

This place is just amazing! We have seen all the pictures before amd believe me, it is even more beautiful. We have been spending hours just sitting on the veranda, enjoying the splendid view of the turquoise sea and the white beach. The apartement is well furnished, you will find everything you need. The people in Grand Turk are really wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Walking the beach for hours, exploring the island by bike and just relaxing was indeed the perfect vacation. Getting there is easy, the flight just takes about 30 minutes and as we spent two more days in Provo after leaving Grand Turk we knew, we made the right decision spending most of our time in the Crabtree Apartments. We never missed a car and loved biking all over the island, up to the lighthouse, to the grocery stores our just into Cockburn Town to have a drink and some snacks at the sandbar. And we absolutely loved the donkeys, horses and of course the beautiful dogs which accompanied us walking the beaches and even biking to the cruise ship terminal. Jessalyn, I have said this before, but again - thank you so much. You were the most caring, helpful and considerate host one could wish for. You were there for every question we had, helped us with the filghts, the airport transfer and provided us with all the informations we needed to find everything!

Great Vacation!

Im März waren wir auf Grand Turk. Nachdem wir vor 16 Jahren einen eintägigen Aufenthalt von der Dominikanischen Republik aus hierher gemacht hatten, waren wir von diesem schönen Fleckchen Erde sehr angetan Aber nur so viel dazu. Was uns am meisten beeindruckte, war doch die wunderbare Ruhe und Stille auf der Insel. Hier kann man wirklich noch die Seele baumeln lassen, fernab vom Massentourismus, der hier glücklicherweise noch keinen Einzug gehalten hat. Ohnehin ist die Anreise etwas mühsam, relativ lang und mit mehrmaligem Umsteigen verbunden. Das schreckt sicherlich auch ab. Ansonsten aber lässt sich hier auch viel anstellen: Tauchen, Schnorcheln, Bootsausflüge, Wandern, Radfahren und einiges mehr. Party a la Ballermann ist nicht! Zur Unterkunft: Wir haben uns einige Zeit vorab im Crabtree Apartment eingemietet. Ein von außen her unscheinbares Gebäude, nett pastellgrün angestrichen. Dieses Gebäude bietet drei Appartements für je 4 Personen. Die Einrichtung der Appartements lässt keine Wünsche offen. Eine tolle Einrichtung, nebst amerikanischer Küche, Dusche, zwei Schlafzimmern, einem großen Wohnbereich und eine riesige Terrasse mit direktem Zugang zum Meer, keine 20 m entfernt. Und das Beste ist der direkt vor der Terrasse liegende Strand. Links und rechts unendlich lang und man hat das Gefühl, man hat ihn für sich alleine, weil kaum eine Menschenseele vorbei kommt. Entdeckt haben wir das Appartement im Internet. Die Beschreibung im Internet ist nicht übertrieben und entspricht voll und ganz dem, was man vor Ort antrifft. Besonders hilfreich bei der Voraborganisation, erwies sich auch die Vermieterin in den USA, Jessalyn Zaykoski. Ihr gilt auch unser ganz besonderer Dank. Sie war stets ansprechbar per Email und Telefon und hat uns über so manche Klippe hinweg geholfen. Alles in allem waren es ganz tolle Tage auf der Insel, und wir können heute schon sagen, dass nicht noch einmal 16 Jahre vergehen werden bis wir wieder kommen. Wir hoffen dieses kleine paradiesische Fleckchen bleibt noch recht lange so erhalten wie es ist. Wir freuen uns schon heute auf das nächste Mal! Amazing get away!

Such a wonderful vacation thank you so much! We went to crabtree apartments to celebrate our 19th anniversary and it was so relaxing :) Our first kidless vacation in years. Literally right on the sand with beautiful water views. We rode bikes for the first day but it was a little too hot to explore the island this way. We rented a golf cart for the rest of the week which was perfect. If you like shelling, the northside of the island has tons of them! Especially loved the 4 potcakes (island pups) keeping us company during our stay. So incredibly lovable! We ate out for lunch everyday and grilled at the apartment at night to watch the sunset. The hardware store right by the house has big bags of charcoal which lasted the week. Grocery store location is very convenient as well. We always travel with a carry on cooler and bring frozen meat with us. House came well stocked with spices and cooking supplies! We flew both Cairo express and Intercarribean to get to Grand Turk. Definitely go with Cairo express if you have the option. In our experience it was much more reliable. Highly recommend the Crabtree apartments if you are looking to just kick back and relax! As usual…absolutely incredible!

This is our second year coming and it just keeps getting better. See my review from July 2021. Nothing else to add other than this place continues to be our heaven on earth. There is nothing to do here but enjoy the sun, the crystal clear waters, the coral, the white soft sandy beaches (that the Crabtree, strangely, has all to itself), the food, and the incredibly friendly people. This is officially our annual spot to evolve as humans and looking forward to our trip next year.

Perfect Island Getaway

Absolutely loved the property. Everything was as described and shown in pictures. It was a perfect way to relax and refresh after the crazy past 2 years. We arrived and there was bread, eggs, butter, milk and oj in the refrigerator which was a wonderful surprise. We had the beach to ourselves and when we weren't on the beach we explored the island on the bikes provided by the owners. Walked to restaurants and downtown and also close to grocery store and liquor store. The management arranged pick up and drop off at the airport and we fell in love the local dogs that hang our in the area. Would love to go back again.

Caribbean Beach Front

The beach and the water just off the back porch were awesome. The cottage had everything you can imagine for a comfortable experience. The rest of the island is very run down. Dogs and donkeys roam freely through streets and neighborhood. The golf cart rental was stolen on the last night of visit. If the only expectation is the comfort of the cottage and the beach, you won't be disappointed. The deep blue line out from the beach is where the ocean drops over 7000 straight down. This is an awesome place for snorkeling and Scooba diving if that is your interest.
