Quick Get-a-way!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Monte Casa. The cabin was a nice hide a way-quiet and quite peaceful. The property was clean and well maintained. For a couple’s weekend, this is a great choice.

This was a nice and quiet place. The cabin was really clean. The hot tub was nice. It was a little scary at night when it rained one night. I thought the roof was going to blow off. Overall I'd stay there again.

Great Cabin!!

The cabin was awesome, very nice. I wish we would have had a better view, but it was great. My only complaint was there were only 3 wash clothes for 2 people for 5 days. So, we were forced to go buy laundry detergent. The washer and dryer worked great. Would I stay there again, absolutely!!!

Caleb I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay! Looking back at your reservation and recorded phone calls there is nothing noted or said about anything wrong with the cabin or your stay or anything needing to be fixed. the location is in a quite area 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg depending on traffic. If you do not ask questions when you book about locations then I am sorry you did not ask but it is a beautiful area and no one has ever complained about the area or the cabin. You were here during the major wind storm and we are not responsible for storms caused by mother nature or a few hours out of power due to power lines snapping in half. So again, I have not clue what your issues were because you never said anything about anything but your review says Great Stay? Again, we apologize for issues you may have had during your stay but was never aware of any!

Nice property

Nice property. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Could have used a few more personal touches and included a few more regular items such as Kleenex, dishwasher soap (only one available), kitchen towels, some additional kitchen utensils, and clear advertising of a grill (campground grill included not a regular gas grill as expected) We have stayed in a lot of cabins and this is the first time we felt simple, small things were not part of the stay.

Jason Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin but let me help you clarify some of your issues. On our website and in your paperwork it states what we supply. Looking at the cleaning video we have before we gave you the code to get in the cabin you did have two sets of dish towels, dish detergent and dishwasher detergent as well. Paper towels as well. It states the grill is charcoal at the cabin no where does it say the grill is gas, so you must have over looked that! We will get more kitchen utensils as you suggest. Make sure you always read the write up on the cabins so you know what they have so your not assuming what the cabin has or does not have. We do hope to see you again!

Very clean

Cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we were searching for. The view wasn’t as great as I was hoping for and the bed definitely needs to be replaced down to new linens and pillows. That is the only reason I’m giving this cabin 4 stars instead of 5. Everything else was just as we hoped and we enjoyed our stay!!

The property was exactly as described. It was perfect for the two of us to celebrate our 29 years of marriage. The location was just the right distance from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The staff at the management company was Superior and got back with us with resolution immediately. We never had to wait for an answer to our questions via email, as cell phone coverage for our company was spotty at best in the mountains.

Hi Amanda. I am terribly sorry but I believe there has been a mistake. We had a booking for you for one night at Monte Casa cabin October 18th. The reservation was cancelled that same day due to it being for 1 night instead of 2 after we spoke with you.

Monte Casa

Property while reasonably comfortable, needs general updating (some furniture very dated) and maintenance (nails popping in various areas of interior wood floor very dangerous to bare feet, water stains at loft ceiling, water clearly ran down internal walls and came out electrical plug-in below, outdoor decking wood very dry - appears not in good/safe shape, TP roll holder falls off of wall). Homeowner’s “list of items included in the rental” needs significantly updated (outdated descriptions of items present. Items listed yet not included in the cabin was very confusing). We had a nice time, and Heartland Rentals was great to work with!

We do encourage guests to let us know of any issues, so we can definitely make sure your stay is a a perfect Smokey Mountain getaway.
