You are correct in that we don't have air conditioning (and it is not advertised) as many places in Estes Park do not due to being at the higher altitude. We hope you were able to take advantage of the fans and cross breeze. We appreciate your suggestion regarding the room darkening shades. Please, for future visits, be sure to contact us during your stay if you have concerns. We can be reached on a 24 hour line if there is something that cannot wait until morning. Brian, We are sorry to hear about not being able to deliver your coffee after hours. We deliver guest services between 1 pm and before office closing. After the office closes we offer an emergency line for emergencies only and could have delivered your coffee the next day. We are glad to hear our mantinence team was able to fix the nail by the stove promptly and that you enjoyed the comfortable beds. We appreciate your feedback regarding the couch and we will look into this. We have multiple different listings of units in all different, shapes, sizes, price ranges, and decor. We have more modernized units that are not that rustic cabin theme. Feel free the reach out to us next time and we can put you in the perfect place.

Jenny: We appreciate you taking the time to share your input. We care about each guests’ stay, and the experience they have in our unit. While we respect your perception of your stay, and understand it is hard to enjoy your time when you feel uncomfortable, we don’t feel that your information is completely accurate. We do not advertise A/C so I apologize you made an assumption when making the reservation. The fans have been tested and move air with ease. All windows were functioning well. I am sorry that you did not receive a lot of sleep during your stay, and the pillow top mattress did not work for you. We have tested the mattress and are not discovering the situation you reference. The reason you shared with us for leaving early when you checked out was not what is stated in this review. We provide a 24 hour phone number for guests to utilize. We would have done everything possible to assist with the concerns you had if we had known about them. For example, we have different/additional fans available, various wattage of light bulbs on hand, luggage racks we could have brought to you, spare mattresses available, and even could have considered a different unit for you if we had known you were so unhappy.
