We stayed with our 3 adult children and partners and had a blast! Great house, great location - a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle “up island.” House is well stocked - beach chairs, towels, bikes, kayak - no need to haul all your own stuff. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful home!

Our family of four stayed at this home for the Memorial Day weekend. Very easy to find and a beautiful location. The views were amazing especially the sunrise! The beds were very comfortable and the home is well stocked with any essentials you may need during your stay. Amy was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Overall perfect stay and we would highly recommend!

House has everything you need and is very comfy. Regarding prior comment about the smell, it just has the regular smell of a beach house with a fireplace. Really close to the ocean / beautiful views from the second floor in the morning. If you are new to MV, please note that you will have to drive 25-30 min to go to other places. Very dog friendly house, even had the kit to remove ticks from a dog in case. Host always replied quickly.

Outstanding house!

We had a memorable stay at this property!  The house is clean and well maintained, making it a pleasure to relax and unwind. The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable 5 day stay. The house is well-stocked with all the amenities you could ask for, from kitchen supplies to cozy linens. We loved how the layout allowed for both family gatherings in the spacious common areas and quiet private spaces for reading or just enjoying some solitude. It was the perfect blend of togetherness and privacy. We would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning!

Amazing Escape to Paradise Under the Stars

Beautiful home, a short walk from the beach with amazing weather. Aquinnah is such a quiet and unspoiled corner of Martha's Vineyard. The stars at night are so huge and seemingly near in the ink black sky that you might duck your head for fear of bumping into them. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. We want to return soon!!!

Magical week with family in Aquinnah

We had a perfect week at Amy's beautiful house in Aquinnah. Yes, the weather was absolutely perfect, but even if it had rained all week, it still would have been a perfect week. Walking to the beach everyday to enjoy the quiet beach and wonderful ocean swims. Riding bikes up to Gay Head light and all around Aquinnah. Afternoon trips to Menemsha, Chilmark and down island. Pastry and great breads from Organge Peel bakery (only a mile from the house); cooking dinner in using local produce. It was a great week for us all before one of girls heads back to college and our other daughter starts her next adventure post college. Oh and our chocolate lab, Slater, was just happy to be with us (and to swim everyday). We hope to be back again.

One Pro and big cons

This area of Aquinnah is wonderful and we've been coming here since 2007 so we know the area very well & have many friends in the neighborhood. Location is perfect - close to bike ferry and Menemsha plus beautiful Moshup beaches like Philbin. We love the natural beauty. However, despite great locale the house was a disappointment. The interior was dirty. The floors were sticky, the bathrooms were old and did not smell good The living room rug and furniture were full of dog hair. In fact the house smelled like my vets waiting room! The bedrooms were musty. I rewashed sheets we used because they did not smell clean. Ditto for towels. There was garbage on the lawn when we arrived and baby toys. Even weirder was a space listed for our use had the owners car parked in it which was an overstep ...as if the owner made no true attempt to prep her home for paying guests and I felt like I was borrowing the house for free. We were not of course. They are carpenter bees everywhere and the home needs handy work and painting. The laundry is not usable for clothing due to iron in water staining. I would not stay here again and it would be thoughtless for me to recommend.

Inviting and Comfortable Beach House

This house is just lovely. It is steps from the beach, it is comfortable and inviting and has cute decorating touches throughout the home. It is in beautiful Aquinnah near the Aquinnah Cliffs. My husband and I, and are dogs, were all relaxed and rested after our trip to this home. After having stayed in various VRBO homes, we would recommend this property.

Weekend getaway

This house in Aquinnah was the perfect family friendly home for our long weekend at the vineyard! Clean, quaint with island charm, with plenty of room and privacy for two families and two dogs. Short walk to the beach and a big back yard for some after beach bbqs & lawn games! Amy was a fantastic host! Super responsive and extremely hospitable! Highly recommend for your next trip out to the other side of the vineyard. Will stay again!

Delightful home with all you could need

This was a wonderful home for any purpose but especially for ours - a weekend of wedding events at a nearby inn and lots of adults sharing a space. The house was charming, equipped as if for a private second home and not a rental- comfortable, homey and everything we needed and wanted. Everything works. Bathrooms are new and clean. Kitchen completely functional and we used it a lot! Furniture is comfortable. Location is amazing if remote - but exactly what I wanted because of its proximity to the inn. Sunny and bright and wonderful porches to sit on. Most importantly, the owner, Amy, is amazing. She sends an email in advance reminding you of things that you should know and was instantly available for the few questions we had. She is incredibly friendly and helpful but also anxious that you enjoy the home to its fullest. Little points: parking is slightly tricky - you can get three cars in front and back total - but don’t pull into the gravel “yard” in front of the house or you will get stuck in a twenty point turn to get out. Just use the two spots in the front as described in the listing and the one spot in the back as described. Also, lots of supplies are in the basement, which Amy (owner) reminds you in her email - so don’t forget to look there first before you buy paper towels and hand soap and such. Finally - look in the armoires and drawers for towels and linens - there are plenty but they aren’t in a specific linen closet. Anyway, fabulous stay- five stars!!

Perfect house!

Our second summer staying in this house with friends and our 2 dogs. The house is perfectly set up with anything you or your pets could need or want! The yard is lovely and the beach access is amazing! The hosts are extremely accommodating and made sure we were safe with an approaching hurricane. The house is clean, safe and perfect for all!!
