The unit was a solid value at the price point. The only minor annoyance was a result of the construction of the property. This is a multi-unit, multi-story condo complex with wood construction, of which I was unaware. This means you can hear the toddlers staying above you running around and screaming at bedtime, and if you're a light sleeper you may be awakened at 3am by someone stomping to the bathroom, flushing the toilet, and then stomping back to bed (as I was). Also the security deposit is quite high, and the refund time is a bit slow (2 weeks). I'm not sure what's typical for this area, but similar places I've stayed in other locations were neither that high or slow.

Thank you for choosing Sugar Mountain and appreciating the value of your unit! We are sorry that your neighbors detracted from your stay, but unfortunately, we cannot control other guests or owners. We do have several houses in our rental program that would eliminate noisy neighbors. As far as the security deposit is concerned, guests have a choice of paying the security deposit that is refundable, or they may choose a $45.00 damage waiver that is not refundable. The rental agreement states that we have up to 30 days to issue refunds, but we try to process them in about two weeks. We appreciated your stay and hope you come again!

Yes, stairs are often a workout for this terrain. The stairs to my home are a constant workout, but I guess that could be a good thing. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to your next visit.

Very nice property

Very convenient to the slopes. Space was great for 2 adults and two kids (11 and 13). Walk down to slopes via stairs. Everything as described. Would stay here again 👍👍

Walk to the Slopes

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only awesome thing about this condo was it's location. You walk out the door and are literally at the bottom of the ski slopes. Otherwise it satisfied my need for a roof over my head. The lack of a mud room and/or a mop to clean up what was trekked in during a mid Feb visit was a not a plus. There were no amenities supplied, or any sort of welcome/starter basket that I have experienced at other locations through this rental agency

Great ski getaway

This property was a great choice for skiing at sugar mountain. We were within walking distance of the slopes, and avoided having to battle crazy traffic. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and perfect for resting after a busy day on the mountain.

Great for skiing

Great for skiing with easy walking access to slopes. The condo was very clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Enjoyed the fireplace and jetted tub after a day of skiing. Kitchen had everything we needed. The outside closet was helpful to store ski and snowboard equipment. Would definitely stay again!

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect, ski in/out. We spent most of our time on the slopes, but we did enjoy the fireplace when we were relaxing afterwards. The property management folks were really nice too.

This is a fantastic property and will definitely visit in the future. The cleanliness of the condo was beyond expectations and the accommodations are exactly what we were looking for in the rental.
