Vom Innenarchitekten entworfenes, neu renoviertes Stadthaus in super günstiger Lage! Nur 10 Minuten nach Avalon, North Pointe Mall und Roswell Downtown. Nur 5 Minuten vom GA 400 entfernt, von wo aus Sie bequem nach Atlanta gelangen. Für einen erholsamen Schlaf haben wir nur feinste Bettwäsche und weiche Matratzen verwendet.

Home wurde gerade von einem Innenarchitekten geschmackvoll renoviert.

Das Haus verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer (jedes mit eigenem Bad), ein Wohnzimmer, eine Küche und einen eingezäunten Garten.

WOHNZIMMER: Drei-Kissen-Sofa (kann in eine Schlafcouch umgewandelt werden), ein Couchtisch mit Dekorationen, Flat-TV, Kamin im Innenbereich, Esstisch mit 4 Stühlen

KÜCHE: Kühlschrank mit Wasserspender, Backofen, Herd, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Koch- und Essgeschirr sowie ausreichend Tassen und Gläser. Zu guter Letzt ist die Küche mit einer Theke ausgestattet.

MASTER-SCHLAFZIMMER: King-Size-Bett mit kuscheliger Matratze, zwei Nachttischen mit Lampen sowie verschiedenen Dekorationen und einem 40-Zoll-Flachbild-Smart-TV, Deckenventilator + Wecker mit Ladestation

Unimpressive

Our expectations were honestly too high. The space wasn’t bad, but as reviewed before, there were many structural issues with the location. Creeking stairs, broken furniture, dust on fixtures, unkempt back & front yard,…But for us, the most disturbing part was the pet fur LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. That was the unfortunate highlight of our stay that we really couldn’t get past. Only good thing was that the beds were comfy! Not a great experience for our first time stay in Georgia.

Discouraging and Distressing Stay

The Management Company apparently did not read the last review of the property because a bedroom still only had one working fixture and it was a bedside lamp. Most of the lights did not work from the switch. Renters with low vision would have a hard time navigating this obstacle. On arrival one is greeted with trash strewn over the sidewalk, while an arbor placed on the ground leading to the front door is in a spot which could cause accidents, especially at night. Both upstairs front windows were left unlatched. The kitchen pans were dirty. There were no extra blankets. A drawer in a dresser won't close and hangs out a good two feet. There's more but I won't bother to enumerate, since the management company didn't bother to rectify previous complaints. We fully intend to skip renting a VRBO in the future as this place was chock full of safety violations.

Not as pictured

The listing is very misleading compared to the pictures. 1. The downstairs is as pictured, newly remodeled. The upstairs needs some TLC. Stairs are slanted and not good for children/elderly and also very creaky. The upstairs needs new bedding and some furniture was broken. Leaks in ceiling and a small pipe coming through the master. Small showers. The remotes didn’t really work. Although having multiple TVs was nice. 2. There are quiet hours- but neighbors do not abide. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. 3. Location is great, Roswell is a good area to stay in. Without traffic still about 30 minutes to city center. Would not recommend walking this street at night though, overall we felt safe. 4. Kitchen not fully equipped. 5. Communication was okay. Mostly system generated. 6. Parking is good, will allow for two small cars. Perfect for a small family traveling together. 7. The king bed was nice, and comfortable. Overall, wasn’t bad for the price we paid. Just don’t expect the same cleanliness/amenities/upkeep of a hotel.

The host was incredible during this stressful time for our family. They helped us when it came time to extend our booking, and were very easy to communicate with throughout the entire stay. Both of my parents are very thankful as well, for taking such good care of us. Highly recommend!

Quaint Townhouse in Roswell with No Cable

The pics on VRBO are a little misleading. It has clearly had a cosmetic upgrade and kitchen is nicely upgraded. There are also two fairly comfortable king size beds that would be more comfortable with upgraded sheets. The representative was friendly, helpful with resturant referrals and check in. Unfortunately that is about where it ends. There are missing tiles in the bathrooms from a poorly executed upgrade, the toilet tissue holders are all loose, the towels don’t match and have holes along the hem. The washer/dryer room is between the two bedrooms and has no insulation. If you plan on doing laundry at night, be prepared for a racket. Read the terms, there is no cable tv. You need to bring your own streaming stick or log in from your service provider. Additionally, this property is not located in Old Roswell or Crabapple Corners. It is in an old townhouse neighborhood that is very long in the tooth with garbage cans that stayed out in the front driveways the entire 5 days we were there and is poorly lit at night. Not a neighborhood that you would want to take a walk. The cleaning fee is a little high, especially for two people that hardly used it. In hind sight I would stay at the Marriott at Avalon. Season rates make it significantly less than this property. We have tried VRBO a few times, but still prefer hotels and resorts.

It worked for what we needed!

There were a few housekeeping things that weren’t 100%. The duvet for the pullout couch was still damp (but definitely freshly washed) and there was a slightly off putting smell that came and went. But overall it worked perfectly for what new needed. We stayed there with a group of bridesmaids and had our hair and makeup done there and the downstairs was really well decorated and perfect for pictures! I would recommend this to any other brides who are looking for a similar spot!

I'm so cozy and happy when I'm there

I stayed at this place during an intense training over several days, and I was so grateful to have a place to go back and rejuvenate in. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive. I hope to go back next time I have a training in town.

Far from being a 5-Star Stay!

We chose to stay 4 to 5 days in this little home in Roswell, during our moving process. When we arrived, the front yard was covered with dead leaves from last fall, and two empty bins were upside down on the ground. The usual and most useful kitchen utensils were missing: there were a lot of plates, but not enough glasses or bowls, no salad bowls, hardly enough cutlery for 4 people, tiny pans, etc. In the bedrooms, the pillows were either solidly plasticky or flat. We found a dead cockroach next to the master bed. The back yard was a mess with lots of weeds and leaves; because we complained about that, the property manager sent a gardener during our stay who had to walk through the family room with his machines... (which we refused). Only the location is great, but the overall impression is very disappointing.

Holiday Stay

We rented this home to be in proximity to our children and grandchildren during the week after Christmas. The home is nicely appointed and comfortable. The owners were very responsive to questions. We would definitely consider renting again.
