Beautiful apartment with stunning views over the valley, in a gorgeous hilltop town. Bakery opposite sold delicious products. Hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming and offer a truly amazing home cooked meal should you wish.

Had an absolutely magical stay in Casa Anna! Our family of 6 fully enjoyed the spacious and inviting apartment, including the play room for the kids and the terrace with bbq. Everything was just perfect, and Alessandro and Liliana were just the most kind and welcoming hosts. We even used the communal pool in town, and the kids loved it. The actual town is just so charming, and there are many excellent restaurants. I’d recommend this place to anyone and fully intend to stay there again when in the area. 15 out of 10!

This was an amazing property! The hosts were always available to answer questions or help when needed. The home itself was a very large place. Plenty of light with its windows over the front street with a balcony as well as out the back over the Tuscan countryside which had a very large patio. Colle is a mixture of the original medieval town where the home was and then down the hill was a newer modern area with every amenity you would ever need. Everything you would need is an easy walk of only a few minutes from the home, or you can drive if you don’t want to walk. Plenty of restaurants for dining all day long. The hosts, Alessandro and Liliana, were very welcoming from the initial reservation through check out when we left. Great communication made the entire stay very easy. We felt like family when we left, they treated us so nicely. We want to return in the future for a longer stay.

What a Fantastic Place!

Amazing stay. Alessandro and his wife Liliana were such welcoming and gracious hosts. You definitely need to take them up on their in house Tuscany dinner offer - it was magnificent. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our 2 couples - it even has extra room for another couple or children. Highly recommend staying here - you will love it!

A Perfect Escape

I cannot rave enough about the property, the location, or the wonderful hosts. My wife and I spent the tail-end of our honeymoon here and it was simply perfect. Allesandro and his wife were simply the best hosts one can ask for, providing amazing recommendations, always available to contact for assistance or advice and taking immense joy and pride in their city and the region. We wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly be coming back as soon as we can.

Charming traditional house & town

We enjoyed our stay in Colle di Val d’Elsa. There were only 2 of us in a 3-bedroom house - we didn’t need that much space but were happy to stay in such a comfortable traditional home. We especially enjoyed the huge terrace with its views over the town.

Loved our stay here!

We loved our stay at Casa Anna! We were privileged to stay in such a historic building in a beautiful town! It is a convenient location to Siena, San Gimignano and Florence, but without all the tourist activity. We have a lovely meal atop the castle turret in town and really enjoyed the evening on the patio! Alessandra was extremely gracious, and the home has a wonderfully peaceful spirit! Thank you - we loved it!

Fabulous place to stay in Tuscany!

Casa Anna was a great place to stay in Tuscany. The apartment is large and comfortable and has a beautiful terrace. There is a fantastic pasticceria just up the street as well as many great restaurants to walk to. The hosts, Alessandro and Liliana, were exceptionally warm, welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed their friendliness and responsiveness and all of their suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. We highly recommend.

Wonderful place to explore tuscany

The appartement is spacious and has high painted ceilings. The atmosphere is really nice. A private parkingspace handy in the villagecenter. a lot of Nice restaurants and bars Around the corner. The apartment is so spacious and absolutely beautiful! The terrace has the most amazing views, everything you imagine Tuscany will be. Great apartment for our family of five, with large bedrooms, a wonderful kitchen and dining room. And all in the heart of old town, walking distance to restaurants and bars for cappuccino. Lovely apartment in wonderful Colle!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Anna. Spacious, beautiful and very convenient for walking to bars, cafes and restaurants in Colle. Amazing views and we loved the terrace! The place served as a great home base for local exploring as well as trips to Siena and San Gimignano, as well as a great wine tasting at Agriturismo Cesani. Alessandro and Liliana were beyond helpful and friendly. The private parking was a challenge to my driving skills but made life so much easier! Grazie mille to you both!!!

Unique property from the late 1800's. Lots of room overall but 2nd bathroom is very small. Lots of stairs to reach the home from the private parking spot. Great hosts and wonderful home made dinner prepared by hosts at the property.

grazie di aver trascorso giorni da noi !! grazie di aver gradito la cena . per il secondo bagno piccolo , ma con tutti i servizi , non potevamo fare niente la grandezza dei muri la costruzione cosi antica non permette modifiche . le casa medievali fino al 1800 era costruite sfruttando l'altezza di cosneguenza uan ascalianta non lunga ma e' impossibile non trovarla , nata come casa torre , ma durante la seconda guerra mondiale buttata in parte giu' e dopo riscostruita cosi . un forte abbraccio , grazie di nuovo

Excellent stay in Tuscany- amazing hosts!

We had an amazing stay at Alessandro and Liliana’s place. The check in process made us feel very welcome with excellent advice on things to do and a full tour of the features of the amazing property. The house is well-equipped and situated within a great village- all you expect from Tuscany but without having been over-touristed. Some great local restaurants and swimming spots. Alessandro and Liliana are super friendly and hospitable and we will be recommending their place to others.

Well managed beautiful estate apartment house.

So much history and beautiful things to see. Amazing views and close to so many great sights. We traveled from there to Florence, Siena and many other Tuscan locations, but was able to call it ‘Home’ at night. Cooking in was nice too. Large patio to relax. Very casual. We were blessed to have nice weather. Allesandro and Lilliana were very responsive of our every question and recommended several things to do. Will look forward to a return visit when it allows.

Wonderful stay at Casa Anna

My husband and I plus another couple spent 3 nights at the lovely Casa Anna. Alessandro and Liliana were there to greet us and give us a tour of the property. There was plenty of room for the four of us (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and dining room) plus a scenic terrace for us to enjoy and relax at the end of the day. Colle di Val d’Elsa was the perfect location for touring the hill towns of Tuscany. The hosts were a wealth of knowledge making suggestions as to what to see in the area. They will also cook for you - we thoroughly enjoyed a 5 course feast!

Great property and great owners

The property is perfect location for walking around the town or going out to Florence or surrounding Villages. The owner Alessandro and his beautiful wife are very nice people and I cant say enough how great the home is plenty of room for all. I wish I had more time to enjoy Colle di Val d'Elsa more. I will be back to immerse my self into the city again in the near future. Thank you Alessandro

Thanks to the D'Atri Family who stayed with us. The house conveys to everyone an effect of wonder for its greatness, its luminosity the relaxation it offers, the position but, when you enter and listen to your WOW !!! Good central location for Tuscany

Large rooms, plenty of space. Early 19th century decor which adds a slower paced appeal. Patio has a nice setting that overlooks the valley. Good Cafe across the street opens at 0530. Street noise can be bothersome in the morning and evening as a lot of traffic goes down the hill into town or getting to highway.

Grazie del tuo pensiero , la terrazza e la casa viene curata con molta attenzione , ma il traffico esterno stradale solo sul alto frontale , posizionati nel borgo del secolo XII nella strada c'e' la pietra e le auto passando la muovono creando rumore del passaggio . Comunque le camere classificate come : B & C sono sul retro casa , stanze silenziose . un forte abbraccio , la nostra casa e' sempre aperta per voi !

My dream come true

Our stay at Casa Anna couldn’t have been better. Allesandro was very communicative from the very beginning. He gave us lots of tips on things to do in the area and was so welcoming. Lilianna prepared us an amazing meal when we arrived and the gave us the most amazing cooking class the next day. That was such an amazing treat to bring home. The location is perfect for exploring the Tuscany area. We all look forward to visiting Casa Anna and Colle Val d’Elsa.

Enchanting

Casa Anna was a delight, a step back in time with its decorated ceilings, tessellated floor tiles, and precious family heirloom furniture. Alessandro and Liliana were the perfect hosts, and were justifiably proud of their ancestral home. They were on the doorstep to welcome us, and show us around the spotlessly clean accommodation (and secret cellar!) Casa Anna is in an unspoiled Tuscan village with vibrant restaurants and the BEST patisserie across the road. We wish we could have stayed much longer :)
