Vergessen Sie Ihren Hund nicht, denn dieses haustierfreundliche Zuhause ist für alle in Ihrer Familie bereit. Das komplett eingerichtete Untergeschoss mit einer Bartresenbar und einer Außenterrasse sind nur einige der zusätzlichen Vorzüge, die Sie im Annabelle Log Home erwarten.

This was a beautiful property and a great place to spend time with my friend and daughters. We appreciated the privacy of the extensive acreage and easy access to water. There are many exterior spaces for gatherings. The home is well furnished and outfitted as well.

Lovely home and just as depicted. The master bed was too high and for some could be hard to get in to. The dock was not ideal for any type of activity except sitting, anyone could easily lose their balance as it wobbles a lot. The property, landscaping ,cleanliness were all top notch. Added bonus that the property has mosquito repellent service. We would gladly rent again.

Great location

Perfect size property for a family of four. Cabin is well-stocked and modern. Great location within 15 minutes of Boulder Junction and Presque Isle. Annabelle Lake has OK fishing and swimming, not great for either but we did catch fish and went swimming most days. Backup generator was really nice when severe storms came through. Would definitely stay again!

Nice family vacation

This was a great cabin. The kids loved the beds in the loft. Cabin had everything we needed. We did have a lot of rain the week we were there so the walk down to the dock was muddy and slippery. While we were there someone came in and sprayed for mosquitoes, greatly appreciated. Fishing was good. Caught several midsized bass, alot of little bluegill and perch, and a small 28" musky. Saw a fox, doe, and goose family in yard. It was a very relaxing family vacation.

The lake is so shallow you can’t fish it by power boat. Water level is seriously low. Canoe or Kayak is about all one can use, safely.

Beautiful cabin on wonderful lake

Loved it, loved it, loved it. This charming log home was exactly as pictured in the listing. It was spotless and beautiful. We loved the bunk loft where our grandsons slept. The main bedroom was perfect with a walk-in closet and a comfortable bed. We also loved the fire pit and paved outdoor seating area with gaming table. We played many games of Euchre there. The pier and waterfront were great and worked well to dock my boat and to have coffee in the morning. We used both the charcoal and gas grill with great results. All I can say is thank you for making this beautiful property available.

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. We have rented and enjoyed many different places, but this one was really great! Thank you for having almost any kitchen item you could need and excellent pots and pans! It felt like being at home! Both the deck and the patio were so nice to have, along with the fire pit! We brought a small boat and enjoyed fishing on the lake. The weather was a bit off, which doesn’t help for fishing, but we caught a lot of small mouth bass and pan fish. We saw loons, deer, otters, and lots of eagles and birds. It was so peaceful and quiet. Thabks for the wonderful stay and sharing your home!

Beautiful Cabin with Great Sleeping Loft

This was our second year coming to this beautiful log cabin. The cabin is clean and well maintained, and stocked with everything you need for a great vacation on a beautiful lake. The loft has 4 beds, each with their own light and charging station for phones, which worked great for our grandsons. The lower level is like its own apartment with a refrigerator, TV and recliner. We used the Weber gas grill to cook our dinner on 4 of the nights we were there. It works perfectly. The lake has great fishing, but be cautious of the rock bars. They are identified on a map in the cabin and come up to within a foot of the surface. Good for fishing, but not for props. We caught Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, and a Musky on Annabelle Lake. Our dog loved running down to the lake and jumping in every morning. This is the perfect place for your summer vacation.

Lovely Cabin; Inadequate Customer Service

Short Version: Just know that if you lose power, you also lose running water, and Vacasa will still make you cover nights you have neither power nor running water. Long Version: I really wish I could review the cabin, amenities, and the service separately. The cabin itself was exactly as pictured. All of the listed amenities were there - they thought of everything (with one notable exception, below). Great view, great lake, very well furnished - just beautiful! On the 2nd day of our 7-day stay, the power went out due to a wind storm. We had no power or water for over 36 hours total (almost 40). No one told us the cabin is on a well-water pump system, so this means we also lost running water. Assuming that we would be refunded for at least one night, we diverted to a very basic motel (which kind of ruined a full day). During that time, the cabin had no running toilet (ie - have to "use the woods" to relieve yourself - inc. women and children), no shower, no tap water, etc. That seems uninhabitable to me. I understand that the owner can't control a loss of power, but I also think most people would say we should not have to pay for the time we had to leave. After the stay, I emailed Vacasa customer service and was told they would refund me a total of 9,200 points (we paid with Wyndham points) - it cost 13,500 per night in points for our stay. (It also cost exactly 13,500 points to book the separate motel room) - In other words, even though we had to pay, out of pocket, for a night in a hotel due to no water and no power, our refund was well less than 1 night. We literally lost out - didn't even break even. I was told they gave us enough to cover "lost food" (many groceries spoiled). I politely asked for a larger refund - approximately 1.5 night’s worth - and was shot down twice. The Vacasa rep, Julie, told me "we are unable to offer any more points back for the hotel stay as that was your decision to book a room for the night" When I asked "is it Vacasa's expectation that guests not wash hands, not drink water, and relieve themselves in the woods, yet still pay for a full cost for such a day?" She did not answer the question, but simply stated "Regretfully, I am unable to offer any more points back to you for this issue as it is not customary for us to refund you for no power" and did not acknowledge my loss of running water (mentioned in two emails). I only wanted 1 night refunded, plus groceries -- roughly the equivalent of 1.5 days out of 7. I was told, effectively, they are completely unwilling to do that. I got back about 1/2 a day only. Then acted like they were very generous to give me anything back. (I noted that the owners chose not to have a battery backup for their well water, so I chose to leave [this was the one big thing the owner could have]. This was not a good enough reason for Vacasa.) Also, we were completely on our own when it came to contacting either Vacasa customer service or the local manager. The local manager, was friendly, but often didn't reply to messages for a day or more. I asked for the code to the TV parental controls (which blocked YouTube & Netflix completely) several times and never got it. I had to reach out Vacasa 3 times before we even got the partial refund. I had to call the power company myself several times. IE - it's a nice place when nothing is wrong, but if you are like me and are in that small % where something goes wrong, you're on your own, and will be expected to pay for it yourself, apparently. Cabin - 5 stars Amenities - 4 stars (due to no battery or generator for well pump) Service - 0 stars Overall - 2 stars Will I use Vacasa again? I'm not sure. It was a lovely property, and a fair price, but the customer service tells me that it's a dice roll each time.

Property Maintenance Issues

The thermal pane windows over the kitchen table providing the primary view of the lake were cracked, fogged over and defective to the point of blocking the entire view in that area. For the property cost, these should have been replaced long ago. The deck and railings were in need of restaining. The access path to the very nice private dock was muddy and not maintained. A gravel path would have been a simple and effective path. We were unable to use the TV or DVD. We couldn't get them to work and there were no instruction provided. WIFI was very slow and we had difficulty with dropping signals on our computers and phones. I measured download speeds from zero to 1.6MB/sec.

Perfect rental home for a relaxing vacation,

This home was very well furnished with comfortable chairs, sofas and the beds were 1st class. We wanted for nothing. Everything you need for a vacation was provided and of high quality. The wifi service was adequate, The fire ring was very nice and in a safe place, with a plentiful wood supply. There was plenty of parking space and the privacy was great.

Perfect rental home for a relaxing vacation,

This home was very well furnished with comfortable chairs, sofas and the beds were 1st class. We wanted for nothing. Everything you need for a vacation was provided and of high quality. The wifi service was adequate, The fire ring was very nice and in a safe place, with a plentiful wood supply. There was plenty of parking space and the privacy was great.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful cabin, everything as described. Our only issue was we visited during mud season (melt, rain) and our car actually got impossibly stuck in the driveway, requiring a fairly costly tow as the tow company wouldn’t risk bringing their standard wrecker down the driveway, either. Mostly on us, but do beware if your vehicle is low to the ground and you visit at a wet time!
