This is a very nice property, large amount of land, right on the lake with loads of wildlife. With all bedrooms being on the ground floor, this is great for older folk like me and the wife.

Nice stay

Charming cabin with updated kitchen. We only used the cabin for sleeping and breakfast as we were at a family reunion in Boulder Junction. Only 2 couples but could have had another couple easily. Only downfall was the mosquitoes and biting flies.

Beautiful, comfortable home. Lovely lake. Fishing was not too good (due to weather) but enough to have some fun(mostly smallmouth bass). The only negative about the location is that there are very few options to eat out. We would stay again

My husband and I and our 9yr old Labrador loved our stay! The place was very clean. Amazing lake views from the kitchen/dining/living room/master bedroom! Super clear lake water and very shallow and no weeds right off dock so our Labrador loved it! Very convenient location to hiking/waterfalls in MI and fun shopping in Boulder Junction. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Smokey’s in Manitowish Waters. It was excellent! If you want relaxation this is the place! We saw loons and deer and hummingbirds feeding right on the deck of the cabin.

Winter Visit

This house is in a beautiful spot, with great access to local hiking/snowshoeing. Well appointed, the house has everything needed for a pleasant stay and plenty of space for our group of two couples.

Nice lake, beach, dock

This stay was nice for a family of 6 adults and 1 toddler (and our dogs). We really enjoyed the dock and lake. We rented a boat to use and tied it to the dock. The beach area is pretty nice too! It’s an older house but it has everything you need to cook and enjoy your time! The deck provides a great relaxation area with plenty of seating and lake view.

excellent up north vacation!.

The house was perfect size. Excellent layout, bathrooms and kitchen were really nice. Very comfortable. The lake was exceptional. Lakeshore area really great for young kids. Loons and eagles everyday!The only thing that would've made it better would've been to have more hand towels, washcloths in the kitchen. There were only two! We stayed for a week and ate in every meal.

The house was spotless, the property was very private and the location was perfect. The property manager was really nice. She promptly answered our questions. We chose this property because we could take our dogs and it worked out great. The lake is clear and has a firm bottom. The water gets deeper gradually which was perfect for the dogs to walk around in and would be good for kids. I enjoyed their row boat and used our own kayaks. Every time I went out on the lake I saw the loons! The birds and chipmunks were entertaining on the deck! We would definitely stay here again!

Great house and beautiful lake!

This is a great place to stay, very clean! Could use a little upgrades on the grill and couple other items I let the property manager know about, which she was great, very responsive! We had six adults and dogs, the cabin fitted us well. The fishing was okay, but the weather compromised it a couple days. We caught several smallies, my son caught a 16” small mouth!!! We rented a fishing boat from Lynx lake lodge, which they are wonderful people and while fishing other places than the dock we encountered a few muskie!!!! The water is so clear that you could see them come to the bait! Overall, great place, we would definitely come back!!!!

Location and layout of cabin were great. Loved the beautiful view & deck (gated on both ends for dogs). Easy access to lake-fishing was amazing.Basement not setup as shown. Beds were uncomfortable. Need new saute pans/clean oven mitts. Sample size toiletries not sufficient when advertised toiletries included. Need more toilet paper and trash bags stocked if included as noted. Great location in relation to the local bars going to Boulder or Presque Isle. Aside from the few negatives listed, we had a great time and again, loved the views and easy access to the lake.
