Es ist nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zum schönen Lambert's Cove Strand von diesem schönen 4 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bad Custom Contemporary. Das Haus befindet sich im Zustand "wie neu". Wir haben vor kurzem fertig komplett renoviert, einschließlich neuer Plattformen, zentrale Klimaanlage, Fenster, Wandverkleidungen, Teppichboden, komplette Innenanstrich, Sanitär-und Elektro-Upgrades. In diesem Jahr haben wir die Renovierung der beiden Badezimmer abgeschlossen, einen neuen Rasen ausgesät und die Landschaftsgestaltung fortgesetzt.



Die offene, luftige Layout mit großen Decks auf drei Ebenen bieten viel Platz für Outdoor-Freiluftsalon. Auf der ersten Ebene befinden sich drei Schlafzimmer und die Waschküche. Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein französisches Bett. Die anderen zwei Schlafzimmer haben zwei Einzelbetten in jedem Zimmer. Beide Schlafzimmer mit Einzelbetten öffnen sich direkt auf das erste Deck. Die zweite Ebene hat das Wohn- und Essbereich und die Küche. Der Wohnbereich öffnet sich auf eine große Terrasse mit Gasgrill. Ein weiteres Schlafzimmer (mit einem Doppelbett) mit angeschlossenem Badezimmer, ein separates Deck und eine schöne Sitzecke zum Lesen und Lesen vervollständigen die dritte Ebene des Hauses.

Das Haus liegt an einer ruhigen Straße teilweise bis einem Hügel, kühle Brise off Vineyard Sound bekommt entfernt. Es gibt einen privaten Garten für Kinder zum Spielen.

Neuer Teppichboden im ganzen Haus, neue Outdoor-Gas-Grill, neuen Kühlschrank, neue Küche Herd, neue Wasseraufbereitungssystem.

Übertragbare Fährtickets sind für die meisten Wochen im Juli und August zur Verfügung

Reunion celebration

Old friends, some we haven’t seen for more than a decade were able to come together to celebrate the anniversary of a local organization for the weekend. This home was very clean in a beautiful, secluded area. Josh was so easy to get ahold of and quick to communicate! I hope we can stay again for a longer time someday!

My family of six had a wonderful week on the Vineyard. The home was everything we expected and more-- beautifully designed, tastefully furnished, fully equipped. If anything, the online photos don't do it complete justice. Nothing was left wanting: the woodsy setting, the airy, open, three tier floor plan, each floor with it's own spacious deck-- we even enjoyed their library of books. And the location was in pleasant walking distance to lovely Lambert's Cove beach and, in fact, convenient to the whole island. BTW, I wasn't paid to write this review-- the place earned it.

Awesome house and location!

House was beautiful but if travelling with people who mat struggle with stairs, this may not be the place to stay. It was well equipped with everything we needed (including beach stuff) and kitchen was VERY WELL stocked for MV with even 2 lobster pots(including an oyster shucker! Bonus!) . Lots of windows and doors for open air circulation but also A/C. Note: The Master suite was awesome BUT as the floorplan is OPEN, you can hear everything from main floor. For us, not a big deal as NOISE=Grandchild was up and around so getting up anyway as we rarely see her due to where they live. Deck was perfect as well and we enjoyed our breakfast at the table each morning. Many thanks to the Cohen's for answering all our questions as well! Thanks

The house is centrally located, nearly equidistant from Menemsha and Edgartown, and only minutes from Lamberts Cove Beach near the island’s north shore. Paved roads lead to a pull-through driveway with three-story home set back on a private, wooded lot. There is plenty of room to spread out. The home is very unique and well-equipped. Owners are very knowledgeable and responsive. We definitely had a great time and look forward to our next visit..!

perfect getaway home near beach

The home was more beautiful than the pictures! we absolutely loved our stay here for our family reunion. the entire home was immaculate. Kitchen was fully stocked. Completely private location. Kids loved the outdoor shower with warm water! It truly is less than a mile to Lambert's Cove beach. We will definitely stay again in future trips. Pricing was generous compared to other properties. Hosts were easy to get in touch with. Book this home if you can!!

It is awesome house, modern, beautiful in calm location.

We had a great experience to stay in this place. The house was modern, beautiful and stuffed well. Just one thing you should be prepared: there is no lines and towels and you get the message about it in a couple of days before you arrived. It was first time when we rent a house, paid 5k and need to bring bath towels, beach towels, shampoo and conditioner, sheets and pillowcases, blanket. Your vacation starts with complete the all beds first. You also have a option to rent the sheets and towels -I don’t know what it means and in this case if some one to help you with beds or just delivered it. In a good note you can find two beaches, long point beach-absolutely gorgeous: one side is the ocean with huge waves and on other side has a pond with ducks and warm water(you should make online reservation for parking spots and buy $20 ticket). We enjoyed the house and recommend everyone!

Delightful stay

Architectural delight in tranquility. This lovely home was perfect for our family. The layout offers room to spread out while still being cozy. There is a spacious back yard and multiple decks to enjoy when not at nearby beach (Lambert’s Cove is beautiful) or exploring. The house is very well maintained and owner is very responsive. We have stayed in almost every town, in bigger (and smaller) homes and this house was our favorite. Would definitely recommend and return.

Just what we were looking for; A very private location, a central point from which a tour of the island could be arranged & enjoyed, yet close enough to services needed. Amazing architectural find surrounded by trees!

My family and I were in awe of how spectacular this house is! It is structurally amazing, with THREE decks (and a hammock!) and plenty of trees surrounding the tranquil yard. Well stocked with whatever we needed. Highly recommended, stay here to have one more awesome aspect of your Vineyard trip. Josh, the host, is very responsive, informative, and accommodating. Wonderful getaway

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at the Tree House the first week of July. It is in a quiet, peaceful area of the Island, away from the bustling towns, which was perfect for a relaxing getaway during this time of social distancing. At the same time, it’s not too far from grocery stores, Vineyard Haven shops and restaurants, and the ferry, and is very close to Lambert’s Cove Beach, which we took advantage of as often as possible. The house itself is spacious and well-equipped, allowing us all to have our own bedrooms (including one with a bunk bed for our 7 year-old!). It was great to have the outdoor shower and the laundry right inside the lower entrance after a day at the beach, which we followed up with lovely evenings grilling on the large upstairs deck. The owner was very responsive and open to feedback. We’re already looking forward to staying there again!

Quiet location, cool house

House was nice, as described, location was quiet and wooded, had to drive everywhere. Communication with the homeowner was good, he was responsive when there was an issue with ants, had exterminator come, offered to have cleaning crew come but instead will give us a small refund for our trouble. Unfortunately the ants were pretty bad and we couldn't really relax while at the home because because of them. We didn't know the area when we booked but after exploring MV we will stay in an area closer to shopping, restaurants and beaches next time.

Great central location, unique and beautiful house!

My husband, myself, and our 11 month old daughter stayed for a week in this lovely home. The house was very clean and tidy for us when we arrived, and the kitchen is surprisingly well stocked with equipment! Mostly we traveled around the island during the day, but we did visit the local beach (lambert cove) and it was wonderful if that’s all you’d want to do all week :) During our daughter’s naps it was nice to be able to relax on the deck with a book. It was also great to be within 20-30 min of everything on the island, but still have a lot of privacy and peace and quiet. Lastly, communication with the owners was easy and they provided a lot of useful information about the island. Overall would definitely recommend and would return!

AmazeBalls!!!!!

This place was amazing. The pics didn't do it justice. My seven friends & I stayed and had thee most wonderful time. The house is very spacious and had EVERYTHING. We definitely brought too much stuff along. I promise you won't want for anything in this place. My friends gave me a surprise bday dinner complete with a chef who came out and prepared a 5 course meal on the premises. The chef was even impressed with how well equipped the place is. The owners were very accommodating from start to finish. LOL...even when silly me forgot to save the info needed for initial entry. I didn't need to call them for anything else. There was a slow drain in one of the bathrooms (still usable) and the owner let me know she would have maintenances take care of it right away. We look forward to staying here again. Thanks Josh & Cynthia for allowing us to stay in your home.

We first came to Martha's Vineyard about twenty years ago to stay at a friend's house. We had connections to Massachusetts including relatives, and schools we attended, but we had never been to Martha's Vineyard. We knew immediately that this was the place for us; we came back a few weeks later and found our house.

The Vineyard remains a a magical place for us.

Welcome to 42 Sumner Circle in West Tisbury. Our home was custom designed by a Portuguese architect in the mid 1970’s for a family with roots on Martha’s Vineyard. After its construction, the house was written up in the Better Homes and Garden magazine in 1976. There is a framed copy of the article near the stairway. The original owners told us that after the article appeared, they would get uninvited visitors showing up and requesting tours!
We purchased our home in 2006 and have been doing extensive renovations since. All of the exterior siding, decks, windows and doors were replaced. Additionally, we had central air conditioning installed, electrical upgrades, and we had the basement dug out Both bathrooms have been redone. Also, we have been landscaping including a new lawn, the Japanese maples and the Viburnum trees in the yard. Our latest addition is a sculpture on the lawn that we commissioned.
