Beautiful clean home. Had everything you would need. Stayed for 2 weeks and it was a wonderful time visiting with family! Awesome place by the beautiful lake and the dock was great! Host was great with communications! Will definitely stay again!

Making memories with family

We love to stay at Tweet's Lake House. It is a perfect place. There is plenty of room for everyone, and the master bathroom is extra large. The house is on the lake but has a nice backyard for the kids to play without being so close to the water. The back porch with rocking chairs is the ultimate. It is a very quiet and nice place to get away and make sweet memories.

Lake House property

The lake house was perfect for our family surprise birthday party. The lake was beautiful with a short walk to the dock. The house was a perfect fit for our family with the bunk room sleeping 6 of us. The kitchen was well stocked. The entire property was well groomed and clean. Most beautiful lake in the world!

I grew up in Lake Providence & enjoyed every water sport imaginable.. skiing, sailing, fishing, pontooning. (The kayaks were new to me but the grands loved them.) The lake house was spacious for 4 adults & 4 children (the kids loved the big multi-bed room). A great outdoor grill, fireplace, & lots of hookups for electronics. I especially appreciated the owner’s cooperation in making this trip back home happen.

Spring break getaway on the lake

This property has the perfect setup for relaxing and quietness if one wants to get out of the big City noise and enjoy the sound of nature. Wake up to clean clear air, a beautiful view of the lake, we enjoyed the deck for some fishing and a great view, we would have fished at night but the weather was not favourable due to a northern front that moved in and made the water brown from the storm runoff. The house was clean, everything worked but the coffee machine doesn’t cut off automatically. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to relax on the lake. PS take all of your needs because town is at least 30 miles one way.

Picture Perfect

Met friends from another state to visit Poverty Point and catch up. We were pleasantly surprised to find a state museum (Cotton Museum) very close too. The scenery and views from the property across the lake were beautiful. Grilling on the back porch and a nice fire in the fireplace just added to the experience. Really enjoyed our stay.

A Birthday Celebration

It was my husband 42nd birthday and he had a blast. We relax, fish, cook and enjoyed the company. It’s was a amazing place and the master bathroom was mind blowing. I never seen a bathroom so big before in my life. There were plenty of sleep room. The back deck was relaxing, sitting outside over looking the water was very peaceful. Fishing was wonderful, even my grandson caught him a fish off his pole. He was very excited about that. The overall stay was lovely and we definitely want to come back again.

REJUVINATION!!

What you see on the website is exactly what you will see when you get there - the home is very nice, very clean, has everything you could possibly need including Keurig coffee maker for anyone like us who use them and your convention Mr. Coffee as well - the living room has comfortable seating and Dish TV - beds are comfortable, ac is little loud but if you keep the doors closed to bedrooms and living room it is not an issue - the outside backyard is where the beauty is - a big porch with large rockers and a patio covered area for rainy days - the private pier is about 30 yards from porch and there is seating for fishing, access to the beautiful river for swimming, kayaking (there are two) and bring your own fishing equipment - We had never been to the region of Louisiana, but it is well worth the trip - the scenery is just beautiful - we drove to Vicksburg, MS which is about and hour away and enjoyed our time there - Mr. Tad was there to answer several questions without hesitation. We relaxed, laughed and talked about family memories and left completely REJUVINATED!! - THANKYOU MR. TAD FOR SHARING YOUR LOVELY HOME WITH US.

Amazing!

Stayed here for the weekend with some mom friends for a girls trip getaway weekend. The entire weekend from start to finish was amazing. The owner is so nice and answers any question you have and his secretary that brought us the key was the sweetest person ever. The house was very clean and had everything you would need including all things in the kitchen and also the extras in the bathroom ( shampoo, conditioner, bath wash) The view outside is gorgeous and the deck is set up so nice over the lake. 10/10 recommend this place. I will be booking another trip with the kids soon!
