We have stayed at Absolute Charm Main Street Retreat many times and we keep coming back. The rooms are clean and well appointed and very comfortable. The location is great. Walkable but yet a little distance to feel relaxed and quiet. Will keep coming back.

Room was nice, very clean, plenty of towels, Communication was great. My only complaint is the bedroom/sitting area is separated from the bathroom By double doors with glass, not a ton of privacy.The overall experience was good!!

Very Good with one negative

Enjoyed the stay. Everything was pretty much as advertised with one exception. Although we could go access the internet and could log on, the internet was so slow no webpages would come up. That was the only negative however. Thank you. Greg Longino

Perfect Getaway

We stayed 2 nights and had a great experience. Being right on Main Street was nice. The room was spotless, bed was soft and linens were all good quality. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot to stay, takes a couple minutes to drive to all the shops and bars. Very clean and AC works great (which is what counts in Texas).

Overall decent place

Walls seem thin, you can hear the people beside you talking in the room. Thermostat did quite work correctly, constantly adjusting it. Coffee maker didn't work. Internet was down. Direct tv is so 90's. Just a cheap smart tv with some internet would be so much better. No full length mirror for the wife. Other than everything else was great. Comfortable bed and pillows. Oh no shower gel or soap all we had was shampoo.

The property and neighborhood great. Loved the cottage we stayed in. Impressive bathroom and shower. Bed was comfortable! Only one issue someone left their undies in the recliner and I guess housekeeping didn’t notice. Would stay again.

Had an amazing stay at the parakeet. I ended up getting engaged to my long time time gf. Just so happened there was a sign that said happily ever after starts here. Would recommend to friends 10/10. Waking distance from Main. We love Hondos. Just a 10 min walk. Would stay again

Nice cottage at the end of Main Street

These little cottages are great, clean, well kept and at the end of Main Street. I would not consider them walking distance from part of Main Street that contains all the shops and dining. We drove to the center part of main and walked from where we parked. Otherwise it is a great place. The road noise is noticeable at certain times, but it is right on main so it is expected but to my wife and me, it did not detract from our stay. We have recommended this place to friends and family as a definite place to try when they visit.

Wifi didnt work as i travel for work. I didn't have any wifi my first night. The pool looked like a swamp. The cleaner had told me it hadn't been cleaned and it was very dirty. I do not recommend a stay here. None of tbe amenities they mentioned weren't there.

In Fredericksburg for the eclipse

Overall, our stay was very nice. We enjoyed the pool area for the eclipse. Problems,the Wi-Fi was very poor. The toilet ran after flushing. The suitcase stand was broken. There were broken cups in the cupboard, as if the glassware and dishes were not checked often. Hosts were responsive to our concerns and sent assistance to our room very quickly. My husband fixed the toilet, the suitcase stand worked well enough during our stay and Wi-Fi was said to be poor due to event in town.
