Das Cottage befindet sich auf einer Anhöhe mit Blick auf den See - Es wurde komplett renoviert und bietet Platz für 4-5 Gäste (keine Partyzone). Es gibt eine große Terrasse mit abgeschirmtem Wintergarten, die den Raum erweitert. Die Aussicht ist herrlich mit Sonnenaufgang am Morgen und Blick über den See und in Richtung Blue Mountain. Es ist eingebettet in den Rand der Bäume - Eine neue Küche und ein neues Bad. Das Parken für zwei Autos sowie der Platz am Dock für ein bis zu 20 Fuß großes Boot - Kanu und Kajak können nebenan gemietet werden. Das hinzugefügte 16 x 12 Deck mit 10 x 12 Sichtschutz im Wintergarten bietet 120 Quadratfuß Sichtschutz im Freien im Weltraum WOW !!! Der BQQ-Bereich direkt vor dem Wintergarten blickt auf Rasenflächen und den See. Dies ist ein Raum mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einem guten Wohnbereich. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist effizient und verfügt über ein Etagenbett mit einem doppelten unteren für Erwachsene und einem oberen für Gepäck oder Kinder. Das Cottage ist offen und verfügt über eine neue, moderne Küche. Es gibt ein neues Badezimmer mit Dusche. Die Gäste genießen die einzigartige Lage und Suite. Dies ist keine Partyzone - Ja, genießen Sie ein paar Biere usw., aber ich toleriere keine Betrunkenen und Partys. Das Anwesen nebenan ist das gleiche - Viel Spaß - Nicht betrinken und albern - Charleston Lake Park ist ein paar Autominuten entfernt mit einem tollen Strand - Ich schließe einen Parkpass für diejenigen, die wirklich das Sandstrand-Badeerlebnis wollen. Zugang hier ist ideal für Kanu / Kajak - kleines Boot. Und "Soft Bottom Swimming". Das Sunrise Cottage blickt über den See und hat den ganzen Tag Sonne. und Sterne in der Nacht - Es gibt viel Platz rund um das Haus, das sich vom Ufer erhebt - Ein einfacher Spaziergang zum gemeinsamen Steg Das Wohnzimmer hat ein Sofa - Stühle und einen Essbereich. Am Ende der Gasse gibt es ein fabelhaftes Café, in dem man frühstücken kann. Außerdem werden Angelausrüstung und Lizenzen sowie großartiges Eis verkauft. Ein Bootsanleger ist ganz in der Nähe und mit Vorkehrungen können Sie bis zu einem 18-Fuß-Boot parken.

We arrived later in the evening and Greg ensured that the lights were on. That really helped as we walked from the parking area. The cabin was rustic as described but comfortable and clean. The view of the lake was beautiful! It was very helpful that we could borrow the provincial park pass. Greg also took the time to clean out the outdoor fire pit after the rain. We enjoyed our stay.

Myself and 3 of my friends had a great time, the host was very accommodating. We had a severe storm on our first night there and the host had us hooked up to a generator in no time which was amazing as he stayed up all night to make sure all ran smoothly. Many laughs and great memories were made. We made new friends as the neighbours around us became close quickly. I highly recommend.

The scenic view of the lake was very relaxing. If you are looking for a rustic get away by the lake, this may be your spot! We liked the kitchen area to prepare our food. Did I say it was rustic? We used it as a place to come back to after our adventures at 1000 islands and it was a quick drive back. It is a fine spot but my cousin thought it could have been cleaner but she’s never stayed at a bnb. We wished there would have been a curtain on the kitchen window.

The cottage is small and rustic, as advertised. The kitchen is well equipped, the view over the lake great, and amenities as advertised. The park pass is a great asset, as it is very close and has excellent beaches, hiking, and canoeing. Wifi was excellent - didn't check the tv. So long as you re not looking for anything fancy, this is a very good place to stay.

Immaculately clean little cottage overlooking beautiful Charleston Lake. Very basic in its decor and furnishings, but we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It was reassuring to know that Greg was nearby if we had any issues (though we didn't need him for anything at all.) The beds were very comfortable! The weather didn't cooperate for us to fully enjoy all the amenities (including the fire pit and free use of the pass to the nearby Provincial park) but our cottage was a centrally located home base while we explored Kingston, Gananoque, Perth, and other nearby places. Sitting out on the front deck was both relaxing and entertaining - birds and wildlife are abundant, and the site is otherwise generally quiet (but not too remote.)

Had a great time at the sunrise cottage. Accommodations and amenities (restaurant, supplies and boat rental just across the road) were much appreciated. The lake was the big highlight as it reminded us of what we’d find at Algonquin, but less than half as far from Montreal.

Nice rustic cabin in a beautiful spot

We enjoyed staying at the cabin, very convenient location, beautiful outdoor area and nice patio, our host showed us around and gave tips how to navigate. Appliances are old but working just fine, the beds are super comfortable, great deal for the price.

Great Getaway

This is a great property at the Outlet, on Charleston Lake. We stayed in the smaller cabin and it was perfect for our getaway. Cabin is clean, well stocked with cooking essentials, fresh linens, fire pit and a beautiful view of the lake. Our host was fabulous. Great spot at the end of the laneway for snacks/icecream, breakfast and much more. Our only regret is that it was only a short staycation/recharge. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice spot, with dock

As the owner says it's not a high end condo but it is a very comfortable and clean cottage, complete with everything you need. A few steps down landscaped slope and you're at the dock - a perfect spot for a coffee in the morning or a cold one in the afternoon. Dock access is super easy both of from the land and water.

Stayed July 8 - 12, 2024

We had a lovely stay at the yellow cottage! Fireflies at twilight and the wonderful bird songs throughout the day. So peacefu. The Lake was calm and great for fishing! Greg was extremely helpful with info about loal hotspots (Twists for ice cream and breakfast) as well as historical information about the property. Greg is an amazing host!

Cozy cottage for 2 adults

The cottage is small and more suitable for 2 adults, not 4. However cottage has everything you need during your stay. Comfortable bed in master bedroom. 2 level bed in other room needs to be lubricated so it doesn't squeak. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, weather was perfect, lake was full of fish :)

Little Cottage on the Lake

I grew up going to this lake and really enjoyed my stay in this little rustic cabin. We had a lake view and access to the dock; enjoyed drinking coffee while watching the sun rise and hearing the loons call. We enjoyed our host Greg and invited him for a drink one night. This place is near to many gorgeous hikes and you can rent a canoe at the end of the lane and hop into the lake. There's a good liquor store and grocery store within 10 minutes and a cool brewery within 20. I'd stay there again!

I have been hosting five years and guests give me good reviews - I try and maintain the highest ratings - We cannot please everyone and that is always disappointing as we try. I consider this almost a small hotel with the main house suite - the newest small unit "The Office" and this unit The Sunrise Cottage . All suites are a distance away from each other providing privacy and the host is onsite to attend to guest requests ..

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

The added 16 x 12 deck with 10 x 12 screened in sun room adds 120 square feet of out door screened in space WOW !!! Plus the BQQ area just outside the sun room looks over lawns the lake .. This is a two bedroom space with a good living area.- The second bedroom is efficient and has a bunk bed with a double lower for adults and an upper for luggage or children. The cottage is open and has a new modern kitchen - There is a new bathroom with shower - This is my fourth suite created for Air BnB and guests are really enjoying the space - It is a unique space that has an aspect of privacy nested into the trees with ample play area around it .. This is not a party zone - Yes enjoy a few beers etc but I do not tolerate drunks & parties . The property next door is the same - Have fun - Do not get drunk & silly - Charleston Lake Park is a few mins drive away with a great beach - I include a park pass for those who really want that sand beach swim experience . Access here is ideal for canoe / kayak - Small boat ..And "soft bottom swimming" ..
