Discover the "Brunelleschi" apartment by WP Relais, situated in the heart of Florence just off the prestigious Via Tornabuoni. Located a short distance from the River Arno, this exclusive residence is located inside the historical Palazzo Berardi, dating back to the 1600s. The neighbourhood is surrounded by traditional Tuscan restaurants, high-fashion boutiques such as Gucci, Ralph Lauren and WP Store, as well as grocery and convenience stores.
The apartment, which can accommodate up to six people, occupies the second and top floors of the building and is accessible by lift. The lower floor of the apartment offers a spacious 60 square metre living area with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower, while the upper floor overlooks the living room and features a period wooden floor, a ceiling with wooden beams, and period paintings. The three peaceful bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, are located on the upper floor. The rooms are configured as one twin and two doubles.

Convenient location

Family of 6 traveling to Florence for first time. Excellent communication with the property manager. We had a chef come and he did a pasta cooking class for us which was a lot fun. Very convenient and easy walk to the main sites.

Loved our stay in Florence!

Location is an area with many stores and walking distance (5 mins) to many restaurants and attractions, we walked to everything. We had a group of seven persons and the three sleeping areas worked out well for us, just note that one of the beds is in an open loft area. Also, lots of steep steps in the apartment so keep that in mind with young kids and elderly. The check in was fantastic as well as all the communications. We got in to Florence early and were able to leave all our bags with the host and came back later to check in - this was GREATLY APPRECIATED. They even moved our bags to the apartment for us, WOW!

Excellent property and location. As described in reviews, there are a lot of steps but completely manageable. Responsive host. Only negative was that lights in the common stairwell were inoperable at night.

A great apartment in the heart of Florence. A quick walk to all the local attractions with great restaurants just outside your door. Great location beautiful rental

We were a group of 7, all adults this location was great. 10 to 15 walk to almost everything. The rental was great, and beautiful. This may have been my fault but we had an elderly person with us and it was a little hard for her to use the stairs, but we made it work. Both bedrooms are up on top of 3 floors. Middle flóor was the loft which had a sofa bed. Overall I thought the vrbo was great. Thank you

Florence with family!

Our family really enjoyed this apartment! There are 3 levels, with the loft and bedrooms at the top which we didn’t fully realize when booking, but it made for a lot of extra space. The extra large living area downstairs, high ceilings and 3 bathrooms were great. With a lot of original character, the apartment still felt new and clean. We would definitely stay again.

Great location

Great location and easy access to most of Florence. The apartment was lovely, plenty of space for us all and AC units in each bedroom. The only issue we had was accessing the apartment, we didn’t receive check in access and had to call to receive it. But otherwise all was wonderful and perfect for us.

Superb apartment, Tuscan spirit and refinement

The house is a mix of modernity, as very comfortable and very well equipped, and ancient materials. Everything is beautiful and made to feel that you are good, while respecting the Tuscan spirit. We want to thank Gaia for being so accommodating on such short notice. we are sure to return!

Pros -1. Location is convenient to everything2. Very clean3. Elevator (only takes you to the first of a three level apt)4. Air Conditioning worked great!5. Washing machine6. Has all the soaps, hair dryers, paper products7. There is a coffee shop three doors downCons1. There are NOT three bedrooms and a sleeping loft. There are two bedrooms, one with a big closet, and a sleeping loft 2. The apt is 3 floors. The stairs are steep. The elevator offers no help maneuvering in the apt.3. Only one set of keys which complicates dividing the group for different activities 4. The host offers no help with arranging transfersOverall, this was a great place to stay with friends and family. We got the Glovo app to have sundries, food, and wine delivered. The grocery stores aren’t super close so Glovo came to our rescue.I have no idea what you would do with a car if you rented one. We used a taxi app which worked great.

Amazing location and lots of steps!

The apartment is exactly as pictured - great space for a family or large group. We used the kitchen every morning for breakfast and sat around the table every evening sharing stories and playing games. The location is amazing - you can walk to anything from the apartment within 15 minutes (the train station, every major attraction and great shopping). Be aware, that if you have anyone who is not super mobile, there IS an elevator to the apartment, but within the apartment itself all of the bedrooms require very steep stairs. We would stay there again - super quiet, very clean and fantastic location.

Beautiful apartment and very gracious host.

The apartment is beautiful, spacious and in a great location. It's walking distance to everything but not too close to the noisy, crowded areas by the Duomo. Our host was very helpful and accommodating and informative. I would 100 percent recommend this apartment. We had a wonderful experience and anytime we had questions we were able to stop in next door where the host worked and ask questions, which he graciously answered. Loved this place!!!
