Comfortable cabin with plenty of space to spread out

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and well stocked with most essentials that I usually have to pack myself. The cabin did not smell of dog which we appreciated. We did step in dog poo within only a few minutes of arriving. That was a little aggravating considering there is a scooper and bags even provided. I do wish there was more grass for the pups. My favorite part of our stay was sitting in the hammock listening to the rain fall. We would stay here again.

Could use some updates in regards to linens. Wildlife is expected to spiders and their webs are abundant here.

I'm a 62-year old grandfather rising two young grand kids and I worried about having them a week by myself in the mountains, it turned out to be the best vacation I have ever had. It's so quite and peaceville. I had read concerns about the roads leading to the cabin, they were very easy to drive, even after a rain storm. you can't drive 50-miles an hour, it's a mountain road. Love seeing the deer everyday. we seen 3-bears, 69-deer and 6-wild turkey. Cabin was good everything worked as stated. Yard and the river made it a joy to come home to for a week. Lot of things to do. we got on the internet and found many more thing to see than we could in a week. will e going back.

The location is ideal - a few steps added to get into the water would have been perfect - for those of us who lack 100% balance. But, definitely not an issue.

The cabin is a great place for dogs, especially the outdoor area. While we were there, we went hiking, checked out the wineries and orchards, and visited downtown Ellijay. It was a great trip.

Great cabin and pet friendly!

We loved the location of this cabin and how it was right on the river! We also greatly appreciate how they are dog friendly and don’t limit to a single 20 pound dog like most places do. We were able to bring our 3 dogs and they loved having a yard to run loose in. It was cute how they keep dog bowls and a bed available for those that might forget those essentials. The beds were all super comfortable! The roads weren’t as bad as we were expecting after some of the reviews. It is a long, skinny, windy gravel road but no 4x4 needed and we had no issues. Overall a great stay!

Pet and Kid Friendly

We loved our 10 day stay at the house. The fenced in yard for the dogs and toddler is always appreciated! The house gave us the basics we needed for the first night. We loved the wood burning fire place in the living room and the hammock by the deck and hot tub. Side note: the house can be “rustic” because it’s wood, the walls are thin. But it definitely gives it character. We can’t wait to come back in the summer to play in the river more!

Enjoyable in spite of the frequent afternoon rains. More instructions on how to navigate the TV would be helpful. Office was very responsive for any needs that arose.
