Song of the South ist eine bezaubernde Oase am Turkey Creek (kein Fischerbach). Mit Ende der Straße Privatsphäre und eine Feuerstelle direkt am Wasser. Song of the South ist eine Sliding Rock Cabin, die eine abgeschirmte Veranda, eine Terrasse und eine Terrasse mit einem großen Whirlpool, einen Gasgrill, eine Creekside-Feuerstelle und einen umzäunten Hof abseits der abgeschirmten Veranda bietet. Vielleicht möchten Sie den Tag in der Hängematte ausklingen lassen, S'Mores in der Feuerstelle am Bach braten, vielleicht die bergigen Pfade von Ellijay und Blue Ridge wandern, dann abends im großen Whirlpool baden oder sich am Kamin kuscheln und entspannen Sieh dir einen alten Film auf deinem SmartTV-Großbildschirm an und schlafe vielleicht lange auf dem Kingsize-Bett auf dem Dachboden.

Wonderful Family Weekend!

Reviewer Comments: Cabin was cozy and well suited for our needs! Pups and us, especially my grandson, loved the little creek behind the cabin - it was my grandson's 1st creek experience! The screened in porch was also nice and the drive to the cabin, easy. The screened in area for the dogs is pretty steep and so not a space you'd want to keep them for very long. Good place for keeping them while loading in and out though.

Cabin was perfect little getaway to relieve some stresses of today’s world. Highly recommend The Last Catch restaurant in Jasper, just a few miles away. Great fresh seafood! Happened to be there during a festival which was amazing. Overall I’d highly recommend this as a great place to escape to.

Favorite part is the firepit area with the babbling sound that is so peaceful and private. Love the hot tub area. The cabin has all we needed and nice a clean. This year we went to Dahlonega and loved it. WE rode the train last year and did the rail bikes this year.

The lighting in the kitchen was still not good. We struggled trying to prepare meals. It would help if you could remove the TV cabin and put something smaller there or hang it on the wall. It would have been nice to have the screen porch clean from spider webs and leaves. Same for all around the outside of the house. I had to take the broom and sweep as much as I could. I would have brought my leaf blower if I had known. I understand you are in a low terrine that doesn't help. Otherwise we enjoyed the firepit area and hot tub.

I loved that the creek was so close that you can hear it to put you to sleep at night. Very private. The roads were easy to access. I would have liked brighter light bulbs in the cabin because it was hard to see inside. Make sure you go to the lockbox on the front door porch not on the side of the house! Reviewer Comments: My husband and I and our 2 aussiedoodles really enjoyed our stay at Song of the South.. the dogs loved playing in the creek and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch.. The king bed upstairs was very comfortable.. we were a little disappointed on our first night.. we were planning to grill hamburgers on the gas grill but the starter button was missing and we didn’t have a way to light the grill.. other than that, we had an amazing time.
