Probieren Sie das Fliegenfischen aus, während der Morgennebel auf Ihrem privaten Abschnitt des ELLIJAY RIVER über der Wasseroberfläche schwebt. Nehmen Sie sich etwas Zeit, um in der nachmittäglichen Sonne auf einem großen Flussfelsen zu sonnen, während Sie Ihre Zehen im kühlen, klaren Bergwasser baumeln lassen. Nehmen Sie am Ende des Tages ein langes Bad im Whirlpool auf einer überdachten Terrasse, damit Sie Regen oder Sonnenschein genießen können (keine Regentropfen in Ihrem Wein!) während Sie auf die Feuerstelle blicken, die am Rand des Wassers lodert.

Für diejenigen mit Mobilitätsproblemen ist diese Sliding Rock Cabin einstöckig und nur 1 Stufe vom Parkplatz entfernt. Das mit einem Gatter versehene Deck, die bedeckte Veranda und der Propangrill sind alle auf der gleichen Ebene. Der Whirlpool befindet sich ca. 12 Stufen tiefer auf einem separaten Deck. Vom Hinterhof führt eine Metalltreppe in den Fluss. Die Hütte verfügt über einen Kamin, Ledermöbel und einen Flachbild-Kabel-TV im Wohnzimmer. Der Speisesaal verfügt über 3 Fensterwände mit weitem Blick auf den Fluss Ellijay. Master-Schlafzimmer hat ein Kingsize-Bett mit dem Master-Schlafzimmer mit einem Flachbild-TV, 2. Schlafzimmer hat eine Königin. Bitte keine Katzen.

Rest and Adventure at River Dance Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: River Dance cabin was a great retreat for our exploration of Ellijay and Blue Ridge with three fur babies! The cabin was clean and the deck was a wonderful spot for relaxing and watching the water flow across the rocks. The dogs loved chasing their ball in the fenced yard. The only negative was the steep driveway which could be difficult to back out, and some of the foliage in the back yard blocked the water view. Otherwise, River Dance cabin was a good choice for our getaway!

Was very easy to find with GPS and a 4 wheel drive vehicle was not needed (even though we were in one). The cabin was very well equipped with everything we needed for our long weekend anniversary stay. Really enjoyed sitting on the covered balcony listening to the river while drinking coffee in the mornings. Also got to enjoy a good thunderstorm while sitting in the rocking chairs on that balcony. Loved it!

"Stormy Night"

Then evening came and with it a horrific storm(we forgot the candles!!) As my grandson prepared to make the trip to Walmart while it was dusk a very thoughtful neighbor came by to check on us.They said a tree had fallen on their house and they were going to shelter elsewhere.Thank you neighbors for caring.The light came back on about rain, we went to Bigfoot Museum.Very interesting. Then to the beautiful falls. Wonderful time and place. Second time at S.R .Looking forward to the next.

Great Cabin for people and pets

Reviewer Comments: Great for people with dogs, the fenced in porch with doggie gates connected to fenced in yard let us just open the door without worrying that they would run off. Cabin had pet bowls and treats provided-even sheets to cover the bedding if we let the dogs on the bed. Super quiet during our stay and we opened the kitchen windows and could hear the river from the cabin. Cabin had everything we needed and a nice selection of games and books. Only worry was the last 1.6 miles of road to the driveway, road was only 1 car wide with switchbacks you couldn't see around. But we listened to their advice and took our 4wd vehicle and we had no problems since we booked the first week of Spring and most of the cabins were empty.

It was pur first time staying at River Dance and it did not disappoint. Everything you need is provided and is well maintained. Our pups enjoyed the yard area and all the nice treats left for them. We will continue to return in the future. Again the staff couldn’t be easier to work with.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our time at River Dance! The cabin was spotless when we arrived and everything was there for us to cook and relax by the river. Our 3 dogs loved the cabin and exploring in the back. The only thing we weren’t fans of was that it wasn’t fully fenced in so if you’re not paying attention, it would be very easy for your dog to either go into the river or the neighboring cabin. Other than that, this was the perfect weekend getaway! We’re looking forward to our next stay in the mountains!

We enjoy being able to bring our fur baby and letting her see deer and other wildlife. The cabin is very clean and has precious river and cabin decor. This was our third time staying with Sliding Rock and we have loved every house/cabin we have stayed in. It is located in the middle of everything.

River dance vacation rental

The one thing we would change would be the fence in back by the fire so that the dogs could be with us without worrying about them going to the other yards but they did live the house, bed, toys, water bowls, treats and the space they did have. We enjoyed the scenery and went hiking nearby and would love to stay longer next time. Thank you again for being pet friendly and especially for not having breed restrictions.I will be sure to spread the word!

Cute cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The master bed was hard as a rock so we switched it up and slept in the other bedroom the other nights. It was a little better but still too firm for us. But we loved the layout of the cabin, the hot tub, the fenced in yard and how dog friendly it was. The road/driveway was extremely rough but we had a 4x4 Jeep. So many deer at night.

Best couples getaway!

The place was beautiful, very cozy. It had everything we needed. And it was so great for our dogs as well! They could easily go to the front fenced yard and come back without any problem. The exterior of the cabin was dirty and many of the window screens broken (they could not be secured and therefore the windows could not be left opened.) The exterior of the cabin and the front deck need to be cleaned.

We actually found the beds and pillows very comfortable and had a good night sleep on them. We really enjoyed the water frontage because there was an easy way into the water via stairs. We highly recommend this cabin for a peaceful and enjoyable experience!

Very nice cabin / terrible road

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived at River Dance (RD) at about 4:45 pm. Everything was as described here. This is a very nice, well-equipped cabin. The area is quiet. From the deck or the firepit area you can hear the stream flowing by. The cabin was clean. We enjoyed our stay there. The downside is that access is over the proverbial "two miles of bad road". There had been lots of rain recently and the roads leading to RD were terrible. I would not drive it in the dark for not being able to see the continual potholes then. So, we couldn't go to dinner out. That wasn't a big problem but was annoying. The owners were very quick to fix problems. The first night, the power went off in a storm. It was off for about six hours. When power was restored, the thermostat was fried. I called the number listed in the check-in paperwork and it was repaired that afternoon. I would recommend RD to anyone with a 4WD vehicle.
