Das Hotel liegt im Herzen des Alcantara River Parks und bietet eine privilegierte Panoramalage inmitten der grünen Gärten mit Zitronen und Olivenbäumen. Es ist in der Tat nur 4 Minuten vom herrlichen Gole Alcantara, 10 Minuten von den Stränden von Giardini Naxos und Taormina, 35 Minuten vom Ätna und 15 Minuten vom Picciolo Golf Club entfernt. Ausgestattet mit Schwimmbad mit großem Garten und Teich, Pavillon und Panoramaterrassen. Haus von ca. 60 qm plus Mezzanine, verfügt über eine klimatisierte Küche, ein Doppelzimmer mit Klimaanlage, ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten mit Klimaanlage, 2 Badezimmer mit Dusche. Klimatisiertes Zwischengeschoss mit Doppelbett oder zwei Einzelbetten mit angeschlossenem Badezimmer. Da das Haus nicht sehr groß ist, wird es für 4 oder 5 Personen empfohlen.

Great and relaxing stay

Our stay at the villa was great. The garden and pool are amazing. The location of the villa is convenient, as there are many nice restaurants, bakeries and bars nearby. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. Claudia was a great host and communication was very easy.

What a relaxing week! We had a wonderful time at this villa. The pool, garden and outside eating spaces were fantastic - with wonderful views. Cottage allowed us to experience authentic ‘cosy’ Italian living - with a welcome of water, beer and aperol spritz! Claudia and her family were so lovely and helpful. The area is stunning (gorge and mountains) and really enjoyed local restaurants such as the Alcantara Bistrot (Gaggi) and I sapori dell' Alcantara ex trattoria del corso. We did a great cooking course in Taormina and enjoyed a trip to Syracusa. All in all a fantastic trip and would definitely return. Thank you Claudia!!

Welcoming hosts and a heavenly garden

We were warmly welcomed by Claudia and her lovely family. The house was fairly small but had absolutely everything we needed and Claudia had left fruit and bottled water and even some wine for us. They also shared some wonderful food and wine with us on one day when they had a baptism in the family. The garden and surrounding area made this property truly astounding. The gardens, outside dining room and pool were truly magnificent and beautifully maintained; providing us with such a peaceful and beautiful retreat from all of our busy days exploring Sicily’s wonders. We loved every minute of our stay. Grazie mille Claudia e la tua famiglia!

A fantastic tranquil place

The gardens and pool were the highlight of the trip! The Villa was exactly what was promised and very comfortable for the 3 of us. We really enjoyed having a base outside of the busy towns to retreat to and the pool was amazing. Very tranquil at night and lovely different areas to eat or just enjoy the evening. The local town doesn’t have much in way of shopping for food so a trip to Naxos to the supermarket to stock up is a must! I would caution on the cooking at home situation as the pots are very large and the hob quite little so you do want to stick to very basic food / use one pot if you can! Overall, a lovely lovely place to stay and would definitely return!

Spectacular!!

We had one of the most memorable stays ever! The property is even more impressive in person. The pool was so clean and perfect for a quick dip when hot. We enjoyed many meals outside surrounded by all the lemon trees and exquisite view. Claudia and her husband were waiting for us when we arrived late and showed us the wonderful grounds and property. The home is darling and we cooked a few times. Mitogio was a short drive (about 20-25) from the hustle and bustle of Taormina. A perfect escape. Do not miss the town bakery for fresh bread, daily pasta specials and procuitto! Claudia answered all of texts promptly and was an incredible host. Absolutely recommend!

A little piece of paradise

We spent a glorious week at Villa Imbesi. The grounds are spacious, well maintained and very beautiful. We spent many hours enjoying the large swimming pool - a fantastic feature of this property! We visited a few local sights (Alcantara gorge, Mount Etna, Boat trip from Naxos to Isola Bella and more personally the war cemetery in Catania where my husband’s grandfather was laid to rest) but we were also very content to stay at the house and relax around the pool. The house had everything we needed and we were permitted access to an additional room which had another shower/ toilet which was very useful. Claudia and her husband were excellent hosts - meeting us at the villa late in the evening following our arrival flight and even arranging a take-away pizza for us that night which was very kind and much appreciated! We also appreciated the fresh fruit and other items they had left for our arrival. They were unobtrusive hosts but were there if we needed any assistance. Thank you for our wonderful visit!

Amazing property. It had everything, and more, in it that you needed. Clean, comfortable, perfect!

We have had a fantastic stay at this property. Claudia and Nino were extremely welcoming and so helpful. The house has everything in it that you need, very well equipped. All the essentials and plenty of towels. Washing machine, iron, ironing board, hairdryer all provided, so minimal luggage needed. The pool is beautiful, and perfect for relaxing around. Sun doesn't start going down till after 7, so plenty of time in the evening if you've been out for the day. There is a bakers 2 minutes down the road where you can buy fresh bread every morning, delicious. We used the outside eating area every day for all our meals. Very peaceful and relaxing. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful escape, then this is the perfect property for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would have no hesitation in recommending it. Ideal places to visit from here are Mount Etna, Etna land water park, Syracuse, Gole Alcantara and Giardini Naxos. We had a fantastic time and were sorry when our trip came to an end.

A wonderful property in a lovely place

Fantastic villa with room for our family of 5. We spent our first week here - the second week, further south in Sicily, has a lot to live up to! Quiet rural location but with a panificio nearby, selling local food and wine. Very large private pool in the pretty gardens. Pretty much everything you could need for a pool/villa break -clean and well-equipped. We rented a car from Catania Airport but the terminal fire meant we landed in Comiso and were quite late and tired. Claudia was very understanding. Claudia was very welcoming - there was a little selection of food when we arrived. She accompanied us to the local store to get a few more provisions. She also recommended a truly special local restaurant - Paradise Alcantara, only 5 minutes from the villa. We went twice. Gole Alcantara is worth a visit and is very busy in August. You will need water shoes. Taormina is about 30 mins away but also very busy. Overall, highly recommended villa with a great pool and lovely host.

Our most enjoyable holiday ever......

This is a fantastic property. The photographs on the website do not do the property justice. The gardens, pool and house are all beautiful. Claudia, the owner, is very easy to deal with. She responds to any communication very quickly. She takes great pride in her beautiful villa. Mitogio, the village in which the villa is set, is 15 minutes from the coast. There is a superb bakery and a petrol station in the village which sell water, a beer, coffee, granita, a lighter for your barbecue, lunch, charcoal etc etc The pool is the best we have had in 10 property rentals and the gardens around it are spectacular. They are also cooled by a breeze which makes sitting out a pleasure. The outdoor kitchen and terrace have fantastic views over the stunning countryside. All of the rooms are air conditioned and everything provided by Claudia is of the highest quality. Nearby are superb restaurants and the Alcantara Gorge which was brilliant to go swimming in. We hope to visit Villa Ibiscus again soon and see Claudia and her lovely husband Nono again.

Diese Villa und Gastgeberin Claudia verdienen eigentlich “10 Sterne” und nicht nur 5!

Der Kontakt mit Claudia war von Anfang an sehr positiv und extremst freundlich! Die Beschreibung der Villa mit Allem entsprach absolut den Tatsachen, waren sogar noch besser als erwartet! Claudia wartete schon bei der Ankunft auf uns. Ein wunderbarer Empfang. Sie zeigte uns das Haus und Einrichtungen, Pool, Garten und alles andere. Als perfekte Gastgeberin hatte sie sogar schon Getränke, Obst, Joghurt, Brot und andere Lebensmittel bereitgestellt! Ein wunderbar! Alles war sehr sehr sauber und gepflegt! Internetempfang auf dem ganzen Gelände, genug Parkplatz für 2 und mehr Autos! Pool und Garten sind sehr groß, BBQ-Ecke toll (und überdacht), schöner großer Holzkohlengrill! Das Anwesen liegt zwar etwas abseits, aber man ist schnell mit dem Auto in Taormina, am Strand in Naxos oder einfach nur beim Supermarkt oder dem Bäcker. Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Alcantara Schlucht, Taormina etc. gar nicht weit weg! Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind und haben uns super wohl gefühlt, und würden jederzeit und gerne wiederkommen!!! Bei Fragen oder Anliegen war Claudia immer zur Verfügung und hat geholfen wieves nur ging! Bei E-Mail-Anfragen hat sie stets sehr schnell geantwortet! Villa Imbesi und Claudia verdienen das Prädikat wertvoll und ist eine super top Gastgeberin! Immer wieder gerne!!!

Sehr gepflegtes, stilvolles Anwesen

Wir waren mit einer Familie mit vier Kindern dort an Pfingsten. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen und gut angeschlossen, 12km von der Autobahn. Pool und Haus sind sehr sauber, ein überdachter Essplatz außen. Klimaanlage ist vorhanden, wir haben sie aber nicht gebraucht.

Ideal zum Entspannen

Die Villa Imbesi ist ein ausgezeichneter Ort zum Entspannen. Der wunderschöne Garten mit dem riesigen Schwimmbad zur Alleinbenutzung ist ein Traum. Die Vermieterin Claudia und ihr Mann haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen, Obst und Getränke waren schon da, und während unseres Aufenthalts waren Sie zwar für Fragen da, aber ansonsten hatten wir das ganze Anwesen für uns. Das Haus ist - wie beschrieben - mit 60qm für eine Familie mit 4 Personen nicht riesig, aber ausreichend, und das Haus haben wir eh nur zum Schlafen genutzt, ansonsten gibt es diverse Sitzgelegenheiten im Aussenbereich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Objekt auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

L'accueil était parfait et chaleureux! L'endroit est tres beau et tres bien entretenu. La maison est petite mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Nous conseillerons le logement de Claudia a des amis qui iraient en sicile du côté de Taormina. En bonus les enfants ont fait la recolte des olives, moment très sympathique!

Lovely stay

In a lovely setting mountains/hills on both sides. Beautiful gardens and swimming pool attached to the villa. Villa is quite small with the storage being a bit tight but we managed ok as the owners gave us sole use of the building next to it. We were mainly outside anyway so it didn’t really matter so much. Very helpful owners would go back

Lovely stay

We enjoyed a week at this beautiful property. The views are stunning and it’s easy to take a trip into Taormina if you want to. The Golle Alcantara, a few minutes up the road, is also worth a visit - but go early in the morning. Claudia was a lovely host, helpful at all times.

Fred og ro nær Taormina og Giardina Naxos

Smukt beliggende hus med en kæmpe have og super lækker pool. Holder man af ro, er huset så fint at gæste, haven har små kroge og smukke blomster, her finder man læ og sol. Værtinden så venlig og hjælpsom på alle mulige måder. Maser af håndklæder og viskestykker. Eneste minus er, at der er lidt lavt til loftet på 1.sal.

Merveilleuse semaine

Nous avons passé huit jours merveilleux dans cette villa avec nos 3 enfants . Elle est très bien située dans la vallée de l alcantara avec une belle vue et au calme Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par Claudia et son mari Le jardin est très soigné et la piscine très grande. Nous avons pris tous nos repas dans la cuisine extérieure avec une très belle vue sur la vallée au milieu des citronniers et des orangers! Nous y reviendrons lors de notre futur voyage en Sicile

Very good. Lovely and quiet.

Mitogio is a lovely quiet safe area. The villa is very well equipment and comfortable (especially the beds). The owners are lovely and we had a lovely warm welcome. We were warm on the colder days in the villa ( due to the heating) and on the other warmer days enjoyed the vast outdoor space. The photos do not do it justice how much outdoor space there is to enjoy. We used the villa as the base to go up Enta, go over the mountains to the Venus Pool on the other coast, spend time down on the beaches at Lido Di Naxos and Isola Bella, visit the greek Teatro Antico di Taormina and walk the streets of Taormina. We also enjoy a evening visit to Taormina to watch the Easter parade. Taormina is easy to visit there is a cable car with good parking at the bottom and also car parks on the route up with a free bus service to the town and back. But the best part about the staying at the villa in Mitogio is the local bakery google artepanealcantara. We walked every morning to get fresh bread. The location and the villa made sure we really enjoyed our first trip to Sicily. Two of the days we didn’t leave the villa expect to get bread.

Merveilleuses vacances

Belle propriété de vacances

Accueil chaleureux de Claudia. Maison fonctionnelle, très beau jardin bien entretenu. Agréable de s'y retrouver au calme après une journée d'excursion. Magnifique piscine (mais malheureusement l'eau était encore froide début avril). Merci pour ce beau séjour.
