In der Nähe von allem !!: Zu Fuß zu lässigen und feinen Restaurants, Cafés, Galerien, Geschäften, dem Cape Cod Bike Trail (.2 Meilen) und Rock Harbor (.7 Meilen). Kurze Fahrt zum Strand von Skaket (1,6 km zum Bayside Beach) und zum Strand von Nauset (5 km zur National Seashore - zum Meer). Viele Dinge zu tun!!: Das National Seashore Centre in Eastham bietet viele Programme für Familien, ebenso wie das Audubon Centre in Wellfleet. The cape house was a great place to stay. Location was very convenient to downtown Orleans and the beaches plus rail trail. Kitchen was fully stocked and beds were comfortable. Would stay here again when visiting the Cape.

The house and gardens are lovingly and beautifully maintained and so comfortable. There is great lighting for reading and lots of great books. And, while it was so quiet and peaceful, we loved the proximity to town, the harbor and beach and the bike trail.

Our stay was amazing! House was perfect. Private location but close enough to walk to town! Grounds were peaceful and quiet. Kitchen was fully equipped for us to cook most our meals. Central to nauset and Marconi beach and of course the sundae school!! Week was perfect!

Cape Cod charm at its best

This is our third return trip to this beautiful home. My boys love going to Skaket Beach everyday that the weather permits. The house is convenient to Skaket, to Rock Harbor, and to town. The owner could not possibly be any more lovely or accommodating. We are so glad to have found this wonderful home away from home.

Wonderful Stay!

Our party of three adults had a lovely time. The house can be a bit warm in the late summer but the fans make it much better. The house was clean and had everything we needed! Great location for walking to town.

Location, gardens, lovely house

We stayed a wonderful 10 days here. The house is charming and comfortable, the gardens are as beautiful as the picture. Location is excellent--near Orleans center, convenient to Nauset Beach and the Bay, close to bike path. We highly recommend.

Perfect Cape retreat

This property is quintessential Cape Cod! It is so tastefully designed and decorated. It sits back in its own garden oasis - removed from the road and beautifully landscaped. The house is perfect for a family visiting the Cape. It’s ideally located close to town and close to Skaket Beach / Rock Harbor. The owners are wonderful and very friendly.

We loved our stay at Rock Harbor Retreat. The open floor plan invites conversation and togetherness while having defined spaces for living, dining and cooking. There is a screened-in porch and lovely deck for dining or just hanging out. This house has cozy and lovely decor, is clean, has comfortable beds and couch, a fully-equipped kitchen, two large tiled showers (and an outdoor shower), beautiful flower gardens, privacy and easy access to bay and odean beaches, shopping and nature activities. What more could you ask for! We strongly recommend this house for a special Cape Cod stay!

Lovely home and trip

Nicki is very communicative. EV charging within walking distance (across from Sparrow cafe). Bike trail and bike rentals nearby as well. Bike trail (kid friendly) is amazing.

A beautiful home base for our vacation

Nikki was a gracious host who welcomed us to her home tucked within a beautiful garden. It provided ample space for relaxation and family gatherings. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners in the evening, the table was perfect for family games, the cross breezes through the windows created a comfortable atmosphere, and we even laid on the upper deck and watched the Perseids one evening.

Great location, great house!

Second time back to this property. We love the cleanliness and location. Close to the Chocolate Sparrow and bike trail. We were there during the heat wave and wished the house had AC, but they provided lots of fans that we used. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful garden retreat walking distance to town!

The house is gorgeous! From the comfortable beds to tasteful decor, it is a 5 star experience. Nicki was a pleasure to work with! Did I mention we had baby bunnies, birds galore to entertain us? The garden is beautiful! We had a great week!

The location is great, the property and garden are wonderful and the house has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. There are thoughtful touches throughout. As a chef I had exactly the precise tools to cook a nice meal.

Perfect family getaway

This was our second stay at this lovely home. Beautiful and well-maintained gardens, and the interior had the perfect set up for our family and au pair. With the parents’ and kids’ bedrooms upstairs, and the third bedroom downstairs, it was the perfect amount of privacy for all. Also loved the screened-in porch and second floor deck! The house is in a great location, close to Rock Harbor, Skaket Beach, and downtown Orleans.

Amazing stay at Rock Harbor Retreat!

We had a fantastic getaway at Rock Harbor Retreat! The house was immaculate, clean and beautifully decorated, and the gardens and grounds were well manicured! The kitchen had everything you'd need...microwave, dishes, silverware, toaster, coffeemaker etc. The house is very close to downtown, with plenty of great restaurants and shops and the beach is just a short distance. We're definitely planning another visit! Thank you so much for a wonderful getaway!

2024 Vacation to Cape

The house was beautiful and was exactly as advertised. It was a hot week, but the fans provided by the owner made all the difference. We enjoyed the privacy offered by the house, being tucked back away from the road and with the woods in the backyard. The recent renovations were exceptional.
