The property is beautiful and the pictures can’t do it justice. Paolo provided all of the necessary information and it was a seamless experience. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.

The villa was beautiful… we enjoyed the hilltop views and sunsets, walks through the vineyards on the road to the nearby winery, all of the lovely places on the property to sit and relax…especially the patio and fire pit in the evenings, the pool during the day… the historic charm and character of the property balanced with all the modern conveniences and comforts. Paolo the property manager was super helpful booking a chef for a few evenings and day trips to nearby towns and wineries. He always was quick to respond, answered all of our questions and made it all so easy and trouble free. Stefano was our contact at the property and always replied immediately if we needed anything… super lovely, he also handled our transport to the local towns and wineries. We loved our stay.

We are a multi-generational family with kids and grandparents who stayed in the country villa in the Spring for a week and absolutely loved it - the house was very comfortable and spacious! Each room had its own bathroom, dressers and beautiful views out the window. House has a fully furnished kitchen, so when we chose to cook, we had everything that we needed. Living room and dining room was where the entire family hung out. The property is set in a hill overlooking grapevines and rolling hills. There's plenty of seats on different sides of the property to enjoy the sun in the morning and the sunsets, which were simply spectacular! Kids loved running around and checking out nooks and crannies of the property. Hot tub was great, pool was fully operational but it was early spring, so we didn't use it. Would stay there again.

Italian vacation Easter 2023

The villa was truly magical. It was everything we wanted and more. There was plenty of space for my family of six adults and four children. The location was excellent! We were able to visit the nearby towns of Cortona, Lucignano, Sinalunga and Montepulciano. We also drove to Florence which is about an hour away. Paolo was extremely helpful from reservations through check out. He also arranged to get us an amazing chef for one of our dinners. It was a vacation we will be talking about for years to come. We will definitely come back to this villa sometime in the future.

Great place to be

Very nice house, the garden with its various shadow and eating places is great. We have enjoyed our stay sorrounded by wineyards very much. The electrical system should be improved or better protected against humidity as we have experienced problems with the fuse box (lights, water pump etc). Besides that definitely a big recommendation.

Dear Chantal, thank you again for your booking and review. I apologise for the hot tub, but we were waiting for the new one to be delivered. This was replaced a few weeks ago (September 2021) and a new hot tub is now available. I hope to host you again in the future! Regards, Paolo

Tres bien

Wonderful stay at Villa al Pozzo

We had a great stay at Villa al Pozzo. The villa is spacious and well equipped. The outdoor areas are wonderful, with different sitting areas to eat and to relax and with a big swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The only minor comment was that the information which we sent to the booking agency did not seem to have reached the people that needed to look after the practicalities (cot, high chair, extra bed). But is was all taken care off on a very short notice. The house is also nicely located to visit the surrounding area. I would certainly recommend Villa al Pozzo!

A dream come true!

We had a fantastic stay in Villa al Pozzo! The location is just perfect and offers a lot of opportunities to visit the area (Siena, Cortona, Lucignano, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Brunello....). The house looks even better than on the pictures and offers a very, very comfortable stay for 2 families! The owner and cleaning staff were perfect and we can only recommend the place for those looking for a great tuscan vacation. The cooking lesson with Chef Alessandro has been one of the highlight of our stay and we hope that we'll be able to enjoy the pool and the tuscan sun, food and wines very soon! Chris and family from Switzerland
