The accommodations were perfect for my needs. It is walkable to the busy Waikiki strip and beach. Though I'd been to Hawaii before, staying downtown was a new and different experience. The condo was clean and well maintained. The staff in the lobby area and parking garage were wonderful and extremely helpful.

Mostly good

I can tell the property had been improved, which was nice. However. On arrival, my spouse slid the shower door open, not noticing it was missing the lower track for holding the hanging panes of glass. One door fell out and broke into a thousand pieces. We cleaned this up and phoned the emergency number ... And left a message. We contacted on site staff. Now home, we are still waiting to hear from anyone about this. Usually, the information binder includes instructions on how to operate the appliances, TC, etc. Nothing. Also, found a dirty frying pan in the stove, which was easy enough for me to wash. Generally, I recommend the property. The 18th floor of the Ilikai Marina is a great location, and the place is clean and well maintained, mostly. Great air conditioning, for instance. It is far, however, from being as nice as most VRBOs we have visited.

First Time Oahu Visitor

The property was convenient in it's central location close to everything. It was quaint and cozy. The middle shelf in the bathroom medicine cabinet was missing one of the posts which made it unusable in a practical sense. We weren't aware that there weren't any trash bags or a tall broom which was unfortunate. However the vacuum was convenient to clean the residence. The AC was a bit odd to work and had cut off several nights during our stay resulting in us waking up sweaty and gross. We assumed that there were more properties that get the same info upon arrival because the instructions for the dishes (to put in the dishwasher or sink) caused us to look for a nonexistent dishwasher briefly lol. One of the elevators did go out during our stay, which made coming and going more difficult. Trips back up to the 18th floor could take up to 15 minutes waiting on the one working elevator, it was a bit much. The closing code also actually locked the room open which was concerning, however I was able to email and verbally speak with someone using the provided information about it. Other than those items, it was a great stay.

In regards to the AC, it must've been a setting issue as it shouldn't turn off in the middle of the night. We recommend calling us should this happen again so we can check on it to address the issue.
