Good place to stay

Good place to stay. Nice location and property. Only complaints were terrible internet service, no hot water, and a few bugs and spiders in the house. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay and would stay there again.

Great place to gather with family and friends !

We had a blast and the place was great place to cookout and relax after a day on the lake ! We will be back ! Owner was very helpful and was easy to get ahold of for any of our needs!

Would not rent again

Not very clean and a lot of molding. Good location, a mile or two from the beach, and nice neighbors. But I will find somewhere else next time.

Thanksgiving getaway

My family stayed here over Thanksgiving break. There was plenty of room for the seven of us, and plenty of parking for our vehicles. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves, and the Dollar General was nicely stocked and just a few minutes up the road. My husband took our younger kids on a walk to the lake a couple times. We had our two little dogs with us and they loved running around the property outside. There are lots of stickers in the yard so we had to brush them off everytime they came back inside. The Wifi was nice but not super fast, especially if multiple people are using it at once. There weren’t a lot of bath towels and there were wet towels in the washing machine that I had to ready and dry before we could use them. I would recommend bringing a few from home if you have a large group like ours. Overall it was a nice place and a good central location for us. We would stay here again!

Very to lake but was disappointed in condition of property.

Very close to lake but for the price didn’t expect to have safety hazard with holes in floor in front of bathroom, unable to open front door due to warped floor boards in deck, and think there is something rotting under house under master bed/bathroom because we could smell something plus every time flushed toilet in master bath made loud noise. Skirting has holes so something must of gotten under it. But there was note from owner repairs in process, but still no discount for conditions not disclosed prior to renting. When rent expect conditions to be as you’d have in your own home. If owner follows through with repairs would consider renting again, since very close to lake. I took trash out, ran dishwasher, sent text, picked up, and stripped bedding to comply with rules. I understand always must have rules.

Fun lake house!

We had a wonderful time! The trailer was tastefully decorated with a lake theme. It had plenty of personal space for our group, including a nicely covered back patio with table and chairs, where we enjoyed the neighborhood fireworks show during our July 4 stay. The trailer was in perfect walking proximity to the swimming beach, and very close to the marina, and the boat loading ramp. This vrbo rental will definitely be on our list the next time we decide to visit Kaw Lake.

House was not clean and needs repairs!

When we first got to the house it was obvious it had not been cleaned. There were food wrappers left on the counter and a dirty plate on top of the microwave. The vinyl flooring throughout the house was dirty and had not been swept or mopped. The showers had not been cleaned. There was dirt and what looked like pubic hairs on the walls and floor of the bathtub. We expected the house to be clean especially since we paid a cleaning fee. There were a few holes in the wall and one large hole in the floor of the hallway somewhat covered by a book shelf. There was a large hole in the screen door going out to the back deck. We ended up fixing the handle on the utility room door as it was about to fall off. Overall, the house would have been just fine if it would have been cleaned and a few repairs made. Thankfully, we were able to spend most of our vacation at a family members house down the road and only had to use the vrbo to sleep.
