Great location, perfect size, beach service was included!

Parking wasn’t nearly as bad as previous reviews made it seem. The only downfall is that the beds were full size not Queen and they were not comfy at all. We had to take Advil every morning to ease the back aches.

Beautiful gulf views

Our stay at tropic winds was absolutely wonderful. The location was convenient to everything we needed. Lost of beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the beautiful gulf. Panama City was definitely a great choice for our annual vacation. We would definitely stay here again!

Love this place

This is our 2nd year staying in the same condo. This will likely be the condo we keep using each year. The view is amazing. It's right on the beach. Even though the weather was not the best we had an amazing time. The pool was fantastic.

Great location. Beach views.

Property was great. Location was nice. Cleaner beach than that getting closer to the pier. Good value for the price. Only a few small issues, such as a poorly installed towel rack in master bath, deck table wobbly (broken), drawers not smoothly opening, mediocre living room furniture, small annoyances like that. The things that mattered most (kitchen, showers, bedrooms, A/C, etc) were great. Location and ease of access to the beach was most definitely fabulous.

Loved the location. The condo was nice and clean. My only problem there was no extra blankets for the pull out couch. There was pillows and sheets but no blanket provided. We just bought one while down there. Loved the balcony. It’s bigger than most I’ve stayed at. I hated the parking garage. It was very hard to move around in

Beautiful balcony view- beware of parking issues

The balcony view was beautiful. Overall condo was clean. Kitchen had necessary equipment for your stay. We were impressed with the space on the balcony and in the unit overall. If you plan to use the pull out couch as a bed there is plenty of space. We left the bed open most of our stay and had no issues getting around in the unit. The elevators were also super fast and efficient (this room is on the top floor). We never waited for an elevator. The only negative to our stay was parking. There is one assigned lot attached to the building and one overflow lot across the street. In the main lot every space is assigned to a room (you do have one assigned space) and they issue frequent tow notices to anyone parked in the wrong spot. The overflow lot requires a special parking pass given by the HOA and is only available if space allows. The issue arises when you come back from dinner, etc to find someone else in your assigned space. You can’t just move to another available space and go about your day or you will be towed. This leaves you calling around trying to get it resolved -interrupting your vacation. They took over an hour to call us back with NO real solution. Luckily we had found the owner of the car and they moved. But it interrupted our night out of fear of moving and being towed. We spoke to several others who dealt with this throughout our short 4 day stay. We will not stay here again solely due to parking issues.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Unit was nasty upon arrival, water was coming up through the floors in the bedroom so we could not use the bedroom because of walking on wet floors & had to call about that problem so then they brought in a loud machine to dry the floors & a dehumidifier so we go little rest,my daughter & her husband left after one night because they could not handle the noise.Then we couldn't use our unit the next day because the workers were in the unit to replace the inside HVAC unit & had to leave the loud drying machine & the dehumidifier there running the whole time we were there so we got hardly any sleep the whole week. Property Management was not sympathetic about our families ruined week of vacation as we dealt with this issue all week & were slow to respond with a solution & we were not happy with what solution they did offer us.

Karen, we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with some feedback regarding your vacation rental experience while staying in Tropic Winds 2308, a beachfront penthouse condo on the western end of Panama City Beach with two bedrooms and two baths. We truly apologize for any inconvenience and frustration you experienced during your stay. We see that once the issue with the water leaking from the ac unit was reported, portable fans were brought in to help lessen any further damage to the floor and to try to make your family more comfortable. An offer was made to move you that night to a hotel or another property so that your could rest, a gift card was provided, and a rebate was returned to your card to help compensate for some of the inconvenience and frustration caused by the ac unit unfortunately not working properly during your stay. Records show that there was communication daily. A request was made for the owner's permission to install a new ac unit. We will forward your message regarding the cleanliness of this unit upon your arrival to property managers. Thank you for your patience and for choosing Real Joy.

It was pretty clean

We love the views 👏 😍, the only tiny thing it's was the fun on my room was super dusty same the air conditioning exit it was super dusty, I cleaning myself 😅 but other than that was 👍

Nice stay

I don't like the online checking in waiting on a door code 30 minutes before check in time, but other than that it met all expectations, very nice stay

Keep looking!

The counters were dirty, coffee maker filthy, appliances crappy, hair on the bathroom floor, whisper thin and poorly sized trash bags, the towel rack fell apart, and the beds were full, not queen and uncomfortable! Not to mention the vinyl couches and sparse decor. I’m serious; for this price…it didn’t come anywhere close to expectations.

We would have been more than happy to send someone to come reclean had we been made aware during your stay. We will forward your comments regarding the appliances, decor, couches, and beds to property managers so that they may relay any assessments to the owners, as it would be their decision to replace any of these pieces. Great location but property was not clean

Check in and out was super easy. The location was perfect and the room was great. However the floors, furniture, bed linens were all dirty. The dishes in the cabinets were all dirty with dried food. Cups, plates, silverware, skillets, everything. Probably won’t stay here again. The property seems to have just been neglected and no upkeep. Patch spots on the wall, towel holders falling down, glass coffee table was taped together….

Loved the stay

Loved our stay. My only issue was that there was no bedding for the sofa bed (sheets but no blanket). Other than that. It was clean. Amazing view!

A lovely getaway

The listing as exactly as described. With stunning views and beach access just an elevator ride away this was a lovely place to spend our family vacation. With so many great places to eat and things to do on the same strip we barely drove anywhere.
