Beautiful location with great views of the water! Super convenient to all Clearwater Beach activities and dining. The fishing from the dock was great fun for all ages we caught sea trout, snapper and a redfish!

Wonderful location!

Awesome location! Loved the dock in back yard and caught a few fish! Can walk to many locations from house. Mary was great and checked in to make sure everything was good. House was stocked well with all that u could need. Highly recommend this house!

Everything as advertised.

This property was exactly as advertised. Easy check in and check out process. Owner was very nice and answered any questions promptly. A very convenient and walkable location in Clearwater beach. Beds we’re comfortable. Any amenities we needed for our stay (linens, towels) were clean and available. Would highly recommend.

Photos don't do this place justice

Wood floors, great living room views of the harbor, this place is looks and feels great. Beds are comfy. Grill works great. We weren't around the house much, but when came home from a hard day's loungin at the beach, we wanted a comfy place to decompress and chill, which is exactly what we did.

Spring break

We had a great time here- the house location is perfect…. Just a short walk to the beach and many restaurants/shops. Check in was super easy and Mary was wonderful—responsive to any question we had within minutes and also following up to make sure we got home safely. The house has everything you need. Would be good to get a few board games/deck of cards for a rainy day. Beds are super comfortable. Sitting on the dock early morning/evening was so peaceful. We would definitely come back!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PLACE IN CLEARWATER TO STAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I stayed a week in July 2014 and we loved it. The place is very well kept and is in walking distance of everything. 3 min walk to beach and own personal dock to fish off of and fenced in back yard. Furnished house and all, only thing you need is to set back and relax and buy your own groceries that is it. I would defiantly rent this house again and again. The owner is fantastic very well informed of everything and the pictures of the place are exactly as it is. Any family with kids or adults it is a PERFECT place to stay!!! We enjoyed it and my 5 year old grandson was in heaven, will vacation there again!!!!!!

I get the nicest people who stay at the beach house. I truly love sharing Clearwater Beach and this house with so many wonderful people. Families enjoy this house in ways that a hotel room could never compete. Kids, parents, and grandparents all have plenty of room. Thanks for taking the time to write such a nice review. It means the world to me, and really helps other potential guests to decide where they want to book. Sometimes it is difficult to choose a place off the "internet", so these reviews from actual previous guests are vital to let everyone know your experience and opinion. THANK YOU!!! (AND COME BACK SOON...the fish are waiting and the dolphins are right off the dock!)

Location, Location, Location!!!

Just returned from a lovely week at Devon Drive. Quiet street behind the new Pier House 60 Marina Hotel. Truly, just a 2 minute walk to the beach, Pier 60, and the Marina with all the excursion boats etc. It would take longer using a hotel elevator!! We fished from the dock (a lot!) and watched the excursion boats go back and forth all day. WALKED to the marina and hired a guide to fish for grouper. Crabby Bill's at the marina cooked our catch for $8 a plate with fries and coleslaw. 2 hours from ocean to plate--can't beat it. We hung out in the FL room during the afternoon rain showers. Plenty of room to spread out and/or cook if the weather is not favorable for going out. Highly recommended.

We so appreciate these great reviews! Love to know that guests had a great time, even if it might rain! Easy walking to the main beach and Pier 60 is a great feature. Also good to know that guests catch great fish right from our dock (and you do not need a license from there!) It is also nice to hear that the house is spacious enough for the whole family to be comfortable. Come back soon....we will leave the light on!

Perfect getaway for the family!

We loved our stay. The location of the property was great. We were within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars, shops, and Pier 60. We were even able to spot a dolphin while we were sitting out back on the dock! The location was perfect for us, as we were able to walk to everything we needed. The backyard was perfect for our three Yorkshire terrier dogs. They had plenty of room to run around and play. The yard was also fenced in, so we didn't have to worry about them running off. The property manager was extremely kind and helpful. She ensured that we had everything we needed, and worked with us to accommodate our check out time so that we didn't have to sit around the airport for hours. She was a pleasure to work with and we really appreciated her help. In summary, we loved the property and will definitely try to get it the next time we visit Clearwater Beach, FL. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect, and the property manager was extremely helpful. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Clearwater Beach!

Christmas Vacation

Beautiful setting with wonderful location. The dock was a highlight for my family! Fishing , watching the boats and dolphins. We were able to walk to the beach and dinner with a 5 year old in tow. Mary is a fabulous host. I highly recommend!

Lovely Getaway

We loved staying here, with our three big dogs. The house is walking distance to everything in Clearwater Beach, but on a quiet cul de sac. Great location, right on the water. It is on the same bay as the tourist commercial boats, so we enjoyed watching the pirate boats, tiki boats etc. The house is very clean, but a loved 1940s home. Perfect for a stay with the dogs so we didn't have to panic every time they ran across the hardwood floors or jumped on the couch. The owner is wonderful, with great communication. Will definitely be back!

To many problems July2-9. 2021

A/C controlled by owner wasn’t set at contracted temperature. Was to hot in house. Electrician had to come for outside lighting not working. Plumber had to come a fix a toilet. A/c quit working and Air conditioning service had to come fix it. Back deck floor boards uneven and rotting (my daughter fell and bloodied her knee). Back porch leaks when raining. Oven door does not close. Kitchen sink traps broken and disposal. Mary (owner) came when plumber was there. At this point, (3 days of my stay) I didn’t want to endure any more of my vacation dealing with a broken down house. She agreed to refund me the remaining 4 nights. I haven’t seen it yet. Today is September 21,2021 I hope things are fixed. It is a great location.

As anyone can see by previous reviews, this "review" is bogus. The A/C is set at 76, is a new unit and works great. The dock lights work fine....just have to turn on the switch which I told them where it was located. Plumber? Never had a plumber out or cause to have one. No leaks at all..,new roof! The oven works great. No clue what she means by kitchen sink traps, but they did break the new garbage disposal by putting screws etc. in it. People across at the marina who knew them said they really only wanted the home for the 4th of July (not the required 5 days) and did everything they could to break things, complain, and make things miserable in order to get a refund. We would never just rent for the one day (even many hotels here require a 3 day period during holidays). Very sad since this home has only had fabulous reviews since 2002 (please read them for a true picture) and it really is a wonderful place.

Best trip - Simply AWESOME and FUN!!

The location is just amazing! Quick walk to the beach, the pier, local activities and restaurants. No driving needed! The dock at the home is spectacular- you can watch the boats go by along with a lot of wildlife - we saw dolphins, birds, tons of fish, a manatee, different kinds of crabs, etc. You can fish and we also caught huge crabs in our crab trap. At night the dock lights up and that is just beautiful. We had a big group 9 people and 3 dogs - that included my husband and I along with young adults, and kids. Plenty of space for all!! The home is very comfortable and has all you need in the kitchen to make meals and an outdoor grill too! The backyard has a fence and our dogs loved it. This was one of the best trips we have ever had! Something for everyone! I cannot say enough good things about Mary - the owner! Mary is so accommodating and so responsive. She even proactively reached out mid trip to make sure all was well. We highly recommend!!

Great week!!

My husband and I brought our 3 college kids and had an amazing week. So close to everything - minutes to the beach, shopping, restaurants and boats. The docks was perfect and loved getting to see the dolphins in the area. The owners were amazing and super helpful. Overall great week and hope to come back again. ❤️❤️❤️

Spacious and relaxing waterfront home

This house was perfect for a relaxing guys trip to Clearwater. It was on a quiet street but still a super easy walk to the beach and all the restaurants. The dock was awesome to swim off and sit on to watch all the boats and dolphins. The house was plenty big enough for four adults and having the bedrooms spread out made the house feel more spacious. We really enjoyed the sunroom overlooking the water for having coffee, reading, and getting a little bit of work done. The host was extremely responsive and the house was fully stocked and very clean.

perfect location

was remembering how nice last winter was in large part due to renting this house for February. Really felt like home, and the owner was very accommodating. Get up in the morning and drink coffee overlooking the water, watch the boats come in at night. Had the kids come for a few days. Loved it, and sorry I did not put my comments here sooner.

I loved having this incredible couple stay at the beach house for a month with their adorable golden retriever. Doug and Pam, I hope that you return. Come back, sit on the dock of the bay and watch the ships go by! We've had incredible weather this month. 85 degrees on Christmas!

LOVELY SPACIOUS HOME. FABULOUS LOCATION.

Such a great experience renting this three bedroom home. It is on the incredible open waterfront with a super dock for fishing. We could walk everywhere and the neighborhood is safe and lush. The home is spotless and had more than everything we needed. The owner couldn't have been any nicer and was very accommodating to us.

Best family spring break vacation EVER!

Our family of 5 plus our dog thoroughly enjoyed this beach house over spring break. It's the perfect location-- walking distance to the beach. My husband loved fishing off the dock in the back yard at all hours of the day and night. Our dog loved to run free in the fenced yard. This house has everything you could want for a vacation house. It was very clean and comfortable and we're looking forward to coming back soon! Also, the owner Mary is so sweet and helpful--great experience!

Perfect vacation in perfect house! Very simple yet delivered best of all - fishing, beach, dining!

We got this house to get all the beast what Clearwater beach has to offer - white sand beach, fishing, dining. Very private street, quite and very close to everything. Mary, owner of the house, was very nice and prompt with any questions and easy to work with. We had great time and enjoyed this wonderful house with water view. My husband was fishing all the time - from back yard or just walking to boats at the marina and go deep sea fishing. We would recommend this house to all.

Great Location! Great view of the Bay!

This is a perfect get away home, short 5 minute walk to beach with a dock on the bay, great view of the bay from the porch. We enjoyed watching tour boats going out and coming in. We also enjoyed walking to the pier in the evenings to watch the sunset. The home is clean and well-maintained the street is quiet. Mary is wonderful to work with and prompt in her responses. We would definitely recommend this house.

Devon Drive house we rented last June

We really enjoyed our stay at Devon Drive and being there for our special day when we married on the beach June 15th with our family. We enjoyed the fishing, the spacious house and that we were able to bring our two doxies. We liked it so well, we are discussing returning this June for our 1st year wedding anniversary !

Great 2013 Thanksgiving vacation--Highly recommended for a boating & fishing family

My wife and adult daughter and I travelled from Stuart, Florida & stayed 9 fun filled days and nights at the Beach House. The listing was accurate, landlord very helpful, and the place exceeded expectations and photos. Most important to us were the dock and boat lift for my 17 foot flats boat. The lift worked just fine, and at 69 years old, I was able to safely enter and exit the boat on the lift to & from the dock with a little practice. The dock offered excellent fishing, and we caught 9 flounder topped by one 19" of which 5 were keepers plus several Spanish mackerel and other assorted fish. The lower dock was nice too and useful for throwing a cast net, in which we caught some baitfish and some large mullet. It was so unusually windy that we couldn't use our boat for 4 days. When we did, we found good fishing within a half mile of our dock, catching seatrout, sand trout, flounder, grouper, and one redfish anchored between the dock to our right and the dock beyond in 4 feet of water. My son and daughter and their standard poodle joined us for the Thanksgiving weekend, and all 5 of us were fishing off the dock at one time! Amazing fishing for a built up area--good water quality. House was quite comfortable, clean and neat with large refrigerator, 2 comfortable king beds, a third bedroom, and two baths. The porch was air-conditioned with nice round table to assemble fishing gear which could be stored on the porch. A glass door from the porch gave a nice view of the waterfront, dock, boat lift and the fenced in back yard for the dog. Bait store located right across the harbor from the dock, and dock is only about a mile away from the Clearwater Beach inlet but was too windy to go out. Great fishing also about 3 miles north between Clearwater Beach and the island--lots of beautiful wild grass flats for kayaking, shallow water fishing, exploring, etc. House was very comfortable with comfortable beds, very comfortable sofa and love seat, a TV with a lot of channels from which we all watched the Michigan-Ohio State football game. Had Thanksgiving dinner in the dining room cooked in a nice and adequate kitchen with large refrigerator. Was able even to fit my flats boat and trailer in the garage with a few inches to spare to load up when we were leaving. Great eating at Island Grill for fantastic Sunday brunch, visiting Clearwater Aquarium, and Frenchy's Restaurants and, of course, the Pier at night. Lots to do in Clearwater Beach. Will return!

Windy City People

We vacationed for one week a the Waterfront Home in Clearwater Beach. It was a nice stay for myself, my wife and 3 teenage kids. The Florida room which faces the dock and water was quite enjoyable in the mornings and for sunsets. The location is great and close to evrything including Pier 60. We were able to go pretty much everywhere by walking. The dock is very nice also and spent hours fishing off the dock. We caught a bunch of catfish and saw dolphins during the mornings and early afternons from the dock. The living areas are tastefully decorated and the hardwood floors are nice. The bathrooms are old but quite functional. The water view off the family room is great and creates a impressive view. The kitchen is well stocked with more than basic amenities. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. If you want to pay by credit card, check with the owner first because she passes on the credit card company charge to renters. Overall, the stay was pleasurable and the owner was very easy to work with an answered all of our questions promptly. She worked to promptly resolve any matters we brought to hre attention. I would recommend this home for family vacation.

We always see lots of dolphins from the dock. Winter, the dolphin from the movie "Dolphin Tale" is at the Aquarium that you can see from the dock. Love to have families stay at the beach house and enjoy Clearwater Beach living at its best. Walking to Pier 60 and the main beach is so easy. We were voted in the top five beaches in the U.S. by the Travel Channel. Visa has a charge for using it, but personal checks are fine with no charge.

Excellent Rental Experience

My wife & I were renters for a month in Oct/Nov, 2011. We had a truly wonderful time. The house was well furnished and very clean. The location is fantastic. It is within close walking distance to the beach and center of the Clearwater Beach activities but yet the neighborhood was quiet and private. The dock in the backyard is perfect for some casual fishing. The property owner is very easy to work with and was responsive to any needs or questions. Without a doubt I will reach out to this owner again next time my wife and I plan an extended stay in the Clearwater area.

It is also great that they can bring their 4 legged family members too.
With a 3 bedroom home, families can have a tremendous vacation together and be able to cook at home if they want. With so much space in the home, everyone has plenty of their own 'space'. The dock is fun during the day, and beautiful for watching the sunsets and the evening lights on the water. I want everyone who stays at the beach house to have an incredible experience and to truly enjoy their Florida vacation.

I purchased this home in 2002 because as a Realtor here in Clearwater for 30 years, I knew it had an ideal location even beyond being on Clearwater Beach. It is an easy walk to Pier 60 and to the World Class sugar white sand beach. The private dock is so relaxing and private. The home itself is spacious and well designed with the master bedroom being separate from the other two. Even though the home has easy access to shops and restaurants, it is still in a quiet residential neighborhood.
