NEUBAU 2019. Retreats on Hudson - Coral mit eigenem Pool ist das Inbegriff eines Strandhauses, das für Ruhe und Entspannung ausgelegt ist, sobald Sie durch die Tür treten. Die Lage in der Innenstadt von Folly Beach bedeutet, dass Sie sich im Zentrum von allem befinden, aber dennoch nur 3 Blocks vom Strand entfernt sind! Perfect getaway right in the heart of Folly

This was an amazing property with a great location. We were able to walk to plenty of amazing restaurants, shopping, and the beach/pier. The house had everything we needed, and was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Folly.

Folly Beach June 2025

This property was amazing! The pictures do not do it justice; it was even nicer in person. Plenty of space to hang out inside and out. The balcony was especially nice when it rained to stay dry but still be outdoors. The pool was an added bonus. And the location was perfect. Close to Center St, the pier, beach and Bert’s!! Will definitely consider one of their properties again.

Wonderful stay for family and friends

From the lovely house with a great layout, all the amenities in the fridge, pantry, and laundry, and the heated pool to the walkable to anything fun and so close to the beach, this was a 10 out of 10. My 8 year old and his friend had a vacation to remember and the grownups cannot wait to come back.

Great weekend get away!

Perfect location to everything on the island. Some of the reviews mentioned that the bar across the street was loud at night but we did not have any issues with the noise! Love that the house is dog friendly! Washer and dryer is amazing and quick! Will definitely make sure to rent this place again!

Enjoyable Stay

The location was ideal for walking to restaurants for takeout and enjoying our meals on the patio. Short walk to local grocery store and the beach. Family loved the patio and pool. The house was nice with plenty of parking. It can get loud on Friday and Saturday night during the summer but that's the fun of Folly Beach.

Don't delay...book this property before its gone!

What a perfect location, so close to all of downtown Folly Beach, the Pier and easy access out to get to downtown Charleston. This is an absolutely amazing property. The beds are so comfy, I usually struggle to sleep while away, not here, wow! The rooms are great size, the outdoor deck is so comfy and the pool rocks of course. The management team sent a list of things to do and we opted for a catered meal at this site, it was amazing, I would highly recommend doing this. My family loved it and my Grandson was very sad to leave, he "loves vacation!" Thank you for a great family vaca! Will def. be back.

Beach getaway

This property is perfectly located to the main strip in Folly Beach and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need if you choose to cook, but why would you with so many restaurants around? Beds and linens were super soft The bedrooms had nightstands and outlets near them for those who use a CPAP. Bathrooms had huge showers. The pool isn’t large but is big enough for a family and has lots of privacy. Be prepared to awaken with the sun since there are only shears on the windows, but you’ll have places to go so it’s all good. Great cable for the rainy day. Isabel took exceptional care of us and we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, this was a good property. It was clean and it was easy to get to. The house is large and as described. There were a few small things however that should be addressed. The railing to the pool from the deck is in poor shape, particularly on the left hand side as you walk down. My father in law has a heel that was bothering him and if he had put weight on the railing it would have likely broken under his weight. Additionally there were a few light bulbs burnt out in bathrooms and the trim on the cabinets in the kitchen is coming down near the microwave. Finally, locking the door was finnacky. It sometimes took several attempts to lock in the front door and the lock on the slider door to in the back didn't stay locked which is a minor security risk. There are just a few things that are showing wear and should be repaired. The pool was nice and someone came and cleaned it during the week. Lastly, and most important for future renters is that there is a bar across the street that plays live music from Thursday night to Sunday night well after 11. It is not annoyingly loud, but it could disturb your sleep. The bedroom on the alley side of the house can also be somewhat noisy due to people partying and walking through. Overall, I liked this property, but you may want to consider these things before staying.

Unresponsive Management Company

When we arrived on Saturday, there was a strong sewer smell in the master bedroom and bathroom. We could not sleep in the room for two nights because the stench was so bad. We reached out at 7:30 am Sunday morning with a response that our concern would be forwarded to their operations team. We had to reach out again at 11:00 am with a response that they will follow up with us as soon as they hear back from their team. We had to reach out a third time at 2:40 pm only to be told that someone would be out on Monday to address the issue. At noon on Monday, a member from the cleaning crew came out to verify that the bathroom had been cleaned and that he would submit a report that there was a sewer smell. At 3:00 pm on Tuesday, we reached out again to be told that someone would call us at 10 am on Wednesday. We did not receive a call, so at 4:55 pm, we texted again, and received a call to let us know that someone would be out the next day. A maintenance crew member came out at 12:40 on Thursday to fix the wax ring on the base of the toilet. We found it comical that the last email and text we received said:"Our goal is to always deliver 5-star service, so if you believe you received anything less, please reach out to us directly by emailing and let us know if we fell short." I am not quite sure how much more we could have reached out during our vacation week. They certainly fell short for us. If we were the homeowners, we would change management companies.

New Year's Eve at Folly Beach

The place is great with everything you need for a nice stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to the restaurants/town and short walk to the beach. The outdoor space is also a huge plus! The management company was easy to reach when we had a slight issue, and remedied the situation to our satisfaction. The address is a bit deceiving since the actual home is on Hudson Street and not Erie, but it was easy enough to find. The only downside for us was the music was fairly loud late into the night. Seeing as you are directly behind a few bars, this could be a problem for some folks. The music played each evening during our stay even on days that were not New Yr's Eve. This wasn't a deal breaker for us, but just be aware of it if you have little ones or go to bed on the earlier side.

The property was conveniently located downtown. It was a great place to stay. The pool was awesome. And the deck is absolutely worth getting. Had a blast walking downtown. We were close to the beach. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for us

Great house and fairly new construction. Location is in the center of town which may not be for everyone? However we had to 15 year old boys with us and the proximity to everything (food mainly!) was perfect. They could wander and explore on their own. I know it sounds weird.... but the mattresses in the bedrooms were amazing! So comfortable and I need one now.

Beautiful property

Beautiful property, very clean. The only reason I would not rent again is very very loud neighborhood. Bar right across street, garbage trucks every morning very loud, delivery trucks every morning and no privacy in backyard at pool.

Great Folly Beach Getaway

Place was perfect for our family of 4. Could have easily had 1 more family join us too. Back porch and pool are quaint. Inside the tall ceilings and modern decor made our place feel very spacious, comfortable and very clean. House is stocked with all essentials, comfy beds, soft towels, laundry detergent, etc. There was even a welcome note and gift. The little homey touches that made us feel very welcome. There is plenty of parking too. We rented a golf cart and left our car parked at the house all week. Highly suggest renting the golf cart to get around folly, it saves your car from getting sandy. If you don’t want a golf cart, then you are walking distance to everything downtown. Only downside, the place is right next to Lowlife, a Local Bar. You could hear music bumping and partying happening until 2-3am at times, especially from the master bedroom. Bring a noise machine if you need to get to bed early. Even with the noise at night, it was still a wonderful little get away for our family and we would stay here again! There are also 3 units (A, B, C (PS-we stayed in C and pretty sure it was the nicest of the 3) with adjoining backyards. If planned right, you could rent all three houses and easily hang out together and walk in and out of each other’s units. Would be ideal location for a larger group.
