Great Getaway

House was clean and spacious, pool was lovely after a day at the beach, and it was just a short golf cart ride to anywhere on the island.

Really nice house

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The house is great and really good equipped. There was also stuff for our kids to play on the beach. We would stay there again if going to Port A. :)

Family vacation

Our family vacation started out in Port Aransas and we loved our short stay at the barefoot bungalow. Well stocked, clean, and easy to find. The host was awesome and would definitely recommend this property.

The location & space was great! Management did a fantastic job handling the internet being down. Our only complaint (which is out of owners control), is the construction going on right outside the bedroom windows. It woke us up at 7am (sometimes earlier), not ideal for trying to sleep in.

Cute house in a nice neighborhood!

Great house in a nice neighborhood! House was exactly like it was shown in the photos. Short walk or golf cart drive (definitely rent one!) to the beach. Also within walking distance of cute beach restaurant bar - The Beach Lodge. Our young adult children and my husband and I had a wonderful time. Appreciated that they allowed pets also! Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy and Cute!

We had a great time at the Barefoot Bungalow! We had plenty of space and were all very comfortable. The bungalow was very clean and has cute, unique touches around the house. It was nice and relaxing sitting and enjoying the breeze in both outdoor seating areas. We would love to come back!

Amazing house!

We loved this house. Great location, clean, comfortable. The close-by pool was awesome to have. We also loved the area under the house where we could just leave all of our wet/sandy stuff. We also parked our car and golf cart under the house and that was very convenient. Upper deck was great for sunsets. Definitely recommend.

Great little rental. Easy walking access to beach. Very slow internet but management did try to remedy. Well stocked kitchen and AC worked great for August heat.

Great location!

We loved our stay at the Barefoot Bungalow! Exactly as pictured, we had everything we needed for our stay. With the pool just outside and the beach easily walkable, my daughters made it quick work getting in the water. Laundry on site a plus, you’ll go through plenty of towels. Take advantage of a golf cart rental as well, makes all the little short trips that much more entertaining. We’ll be back! 😎

Second time visiting here and still perfect.

Quaint, clean, has all the basic needs. And I love the angle of the deck and sitting area below because it is out of the main wind. It’s conveniently located to the shopping areas and beach. Even has a coffee pot and Keurig. Definitely bring toilet paper. :) We came last year and had a great experience and we were excited to come back.

Loved the house it was perfect for us!!

It was nice the house , the only thing was it had roaches crawling all over the kitchen and the master bedroom. I had to go get bug spray, so I could sleep!!!!

Quick Family Getaway

We stayed here for a short family trip at the end of the summer. The check in/out process was very easy and the management was nice and helpful. The house was clean, though there was no dish detergent and the dish soap at the counter was almost empty. They also didn’t provide paper towels, but we had our own. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. The pool is nice and clean as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved this place!

As soon as we pulled up we knew we had picked the perfect winter home! It was exactly as described and pictured! The neighborhood is quaint with 15 homes surrounding the pool. The home has everything you could possibly need, from dishes to linens. We were here during the power outage, so we really appreciated all the extra blankets! The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable! Great dish for television and fast internet. Little fenced yard was perfect for our fur babies. Rental agent very communicative and easy to reach. We are definitely looking forward to being back next year!

Barefoot Bungalow

We absolutely adored this home, it was tastefully decorated, beautiful views, friendly neighbors. We felt right at home, bed was very comfy we slept in most day's, the downstairs outside area was a delight, the W/D are downstairs but it didn't bother us at all, the outdoor area for my puggy was perfect. Melissa was so kind so patient with all my questions. We go to Port A at least twice a year and stay in different beach homes and we plan on staying here again, it's top on our list. Great property and location

We had a great stay at this property. It accommodated our group perfectly with 2 adults and 4 kids. Looked exactly as pictured, very clean and really nice decor. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable and had memory foam. The kitchen was well stocked; the only nit was the fridge water was super low pressure so we ended up buying water jugs and likewise the ice maker was not making much ice so you need to bring extra. We loved having the downstairs to hang out, which always had a cool breeze in the afternoon when the deck was full sun. The pool was nice to have after a day at the beach. We also brought our small dogs and liked having a fenced area to roam and walk them. The location was perfect just a couple blocks from beach. Parking could be tricky as only one car fit the drive and the curbs are all marked for fire zone so if there isn’t a spot in overflow, not sure where you would go. But we would 100% stay at this property again!
