Great location for exploring downtown, with tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Noise was noticeable, but did not disrupt our stay. Parking was about a block away, but not an issue since there were spots to park out front for loading/unloading. And we really appreciate the luggage carts :) Host was very helpful and notified me immediately when they realized we left something behind.

The host gave the door code to another tenant, who had their dates mixed up, even though they had already provided the code to me. At 10pm the other tenant walked. Host was unresponsive for 12 hrs. When I spoke to Bernadette she blamed the tenant and was more concerned about how the other tenant got in the building as opposed to how they got into the unit which was clearly her fault. We were truly scared yet the host was dismissive of our concerns.

Best find ever! Amazing location. Clean and well appointed apartment. Check-in incredibly easy. We had a car with a Thule on top so had to find outdoor parking and there was one right across apt off of Gay Street. Right next to Chivvo Tera restaurant. Pretty inexpensive too. Super convenient to apt. My only regret is I didn’t find it freshman year as my daughter is now a senior. Would have been staying here the whole time!

This place was so cool because of all of the history associated with it. It is on the 4th floor of a historic building overlooking downtown Market Square. It was very spacious and clean, and the beds were real comfortable. I was able to easily reach the owner with any questions I had, and she was very accommodating.

Never disappoints

The owners are just the best people! I’ve lost track how many times we have stayed at their various lofts now. You feel right at home with the added bonus of having the heart of Knoxville just steps away. Loft is clean with anything you need. Excellent location and always feel safe. Fab location

Last minute trip for us and we were so happy with this rental. I feel we got lucky. Perfect to give us a little more space with a teenager. Conveniently located to everything and a lot of choices for dining. Everything is walkable. We operated out of here and did day trips to Pigeon forge and hiking. We didn’t need to make contact with the host…nice touch on the snacks and candy. Thanks again.

Visit ling our son in College.

This was our second time staying at Market View. Great location, for the most part, good stay. We would stay here again but would want a few things different. Communication about check in was very slow. I had to reach out to get instructions. I’m used to those being sent by the host 24 hours ahead; non-solicited. The internet was down the entire time. TV was very clunky and I wound up missing the entitle National championship game. Also, the neighboring apartment put a couch in the hallway and we had about a 6” passage by it. Check out with bags was not fun. Beds were probably the worst of it. They are very hard and cheap. The middle bedroom bed is worn in the middle and we kept falling to the middle. The first bedroom wasn’t as worn but very hard, we moved to that bedroom after the first night. We were left with snacks, soap, shampoo, and all the amenities. I know this review sounds like we were totally disappointed but that is not the case. Just some areas of improvement for sure. A few tweaks and Market View would be perfect!

Even UT sports are only a twenty minute walk. Historic Market Square is THE center of Knoxville and on of THE best locations to stay in downtown.
You won't even need your car during your stay.
Supremely well located next to hundreds of award-winning restaurants, lively bars, art galleries, history museums, and boutique shopping of all kinds, this is the perfect place to stay for those who wish to immerse themselves in downtown Knoxville history and culture. A fair good amount of the places in downtown Knoxville are locally owned and operated, so you can really get a feel for our southern hospitality,

There are several multi level garages close by. Market Square Garage, Langley Garage, Locust St Garage. They are free after7 on weekdays and weekends (providing there is not a special event going on downtown). Also I recommend looking up on the website
www.downtownknoxville.org and it gives live updates on the available parking downtown.
What is there to do on Market Square?

Shopping?
Earth to Old City has be a family run business for over 25 years in downtown Knoxville, Located in the middle of Market Square that will have any unique gifts you might need. Don't forget to check out their newest shop Alice in Appalachia,..Cocktail shopping!

Music?
Preservation Pub has live music every night or Scruffy City Hall for nightly entertainment
or check out a show at the Tennessee or Bijou Theater right down on Gay St.



What are your beds like?
All our beds are Queen size beds. We do have pull our sofa in some locations as well as futons in a couple of Living rooms. Please check with the individual units for further details.

How do we get into the unit?
Approximately three days before check-in a welcome guide will be sent to you giving you the code for the FOB box which will get you into both doors of the building. The entrance on Wall Ave has the elevator. The entrance on Market Stairs is stairs only.
You will also get a code to unit door at that time.
