Auf einem Hügel von 12 Hektar Bäumen, Wanderwegen und mehreren kleinen Teichen gelegen, ist dieses Ferienhaus der perfekte Ort für einen ruhigen Urlaub! Das Haus ist leicht mit dem Auto zu erreichen, was South County zu bieten hat - weniger als zehn Minuten zu den Matunuck-Stränden (inklusive SK Town Beach Pass), dem Ocean Mist, der Matunuck Oyster Bar und vielem mehr. Zwanzig Autominuten von Point Judith und Block Island Fähren, Westerly und Watch Hill. Dreißig Minuten Fahrt nach Newport oder Mystic, CT.

Schläft acht Geräumiger, sonnendurchfluteter Ess- und Wohnbereich sowie eine umlaufende Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheiten und einem Gasgrill. Arbeitender Holzofen, wenn die Abende kühl und durchweg kühl sind. Drei Schlafzimmer (1 Queen, 1 Full, 1 mit 2 Einzelbetten) sowie ein sehr bequemes Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer. Zwei Badezimmer, eines neu renoviert mit einer Badewanne. Neu renovierte Küche mit brandneuen Geräten. Waschmaschine / Trockner im Keller.

Quiet family getaway

A little hard to find at first but we loved the house was tucked away and not in a crowded area. We were traveling from far and the house was stocked up on travel essentials so we did not need to pack them, even had plenty of beach gear! Whenever I had a question I got an answer instantly so that was very helpful when I was preparing for the trip. Overall great property and area to enjoy a quiet vacation, get to the beach without all the crowds! And close proximity to so many Rhode Island adventures!

Great Place!

We stay for a week every year in the area. I like being close to the action, but sort of off the beaten path at the same time. This property fits the bill perfectly! Minutes from the beach and attractions, but quiet and totally private. Plenty of room, and we felt totally at home. All wood inside, and has the feel of a remote hunting cabin, but has all the modern luxuries.

Peaceful Easy Feeling

Property is great as advertised. Very spacious with plenty of outdoor living space. Upstairs bathroom is very updated and beautiful. Very secluded and quiet. Only noise is the Owl we heard hooting during the night. Having the basement to store our gear is also a bonus. Host Emma is great. Can’t say enough good things about the property

Secluded and Comfy

We really enjoyed this lovely home. Kitchen was modern, clean and had some of your basic condiments which is so helpful when your away from your own kitchen. I love the skylights which brought light into the bedrooms and the upstairs bathroom is so pretty with a wonderful shower. We did move our sleeping arrangement to the downstairs bedroom because of the squeaking of the queen size bed upstairs. Other than that, we appreciated our stay at Emma's home. Convenient location that is close to beaches too.

Private, Quiet, and Near the Beaches

I rented this cabin for my family during the summer and the size was perfect for 4-5 people. The kitchen was very spacious and well stocked, there were beach supplies at our disposal, and the space was equipped with several comunal areas as well as enough space to enjoy some alone time. Although it was hot out, we never turned on the central air becasue the surrounding trees kept the cabin cool. We enjoyed the isolated location and the convenience of driving 10 minutes to different beaches nearby. Definitely check out the trolls at Ninigret Park.

Wooded hideaway

Very nice home in wooded area of Matunack Hills. Little hard to find the first few times off Rte 1. House was very comfortable except 2 things. The master bedroom bed squeaks loudly when ugly change position or get out of bed. Enough to interrupt sleep for the other person. Other issue only overhead lighting in bedrooms & living room. Very bright… it would have been more comfortable to have table top lamps & to be able to read in bed. I know nowhere is perfect & the house has many great features….kitchen, cleanliness & updated master bathroom. Enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely loved our stay! Emma is one of the most thoughtful hosts who is always available if you have any questions or needs. A perfect cabin for our group of friends

This cabin was AWESOME! The location was great as we were close to every place on our list to visit. The cabin had a well-stocked kitchen for our cooking needs and the upstairs bathroom and bedrooms were very comfortable. The bedroom on the first floor was cozy and we had a lot of room in the dining area and living room for relaxing and eating. The owner responded promptly to any question we had. There is so much more to see in RI that when we come back, we will definately stay in this cabin again.

Great vacation rental!!

Stayed here in Sept ‘22. Excellent place to stay! The house was fully stocked with anything that you could probably need or want. The location is quick on and off the highway but at the same time woods are all around. Great to sleep with the windows open, the sounds are amazing!!! Emma was great, very responsive and accommodating and helped us out with a special request. Would defiantly stay here again. The beach is beautiful!

Great location!

I have stayed at numerous places for the past 10-15 years in Rhode Island and am very familiar with this area. This location is one of the best equipped, with one of the nicest kitchens we have stayed at. We all enjoyed our stay immensely. The location was excellent as it was close to all the areas we normally go to. All were within 7 minutes of each location in both directions. The access road was a bit tricky to get into but by day 3 we were able to figure out where it was on Route 1. The owners were very easy to work with. We had a bit of trouble in one of the bathrooms (user error) and the owner was very easy to work to fix it and very timely. The only thing that I would say that could improve the location would be an outdoor shower to clean off after the beach before entering the home. The other is more of a preference on our end, but I found the bed to be harder than what I am used to. I would definitely stay here again and would bring a pillow-top for the mattress if I am ever fortunate enough to stay here again.

A Great Getaway By the Beach, in the Woods

We had an amazing time at this rental, stayed for over a week in April of 2022 while having work done on our house. It's remote and very quiet, exactly what we were looking for, yet is just minutes from southern RI's beautiful beaches and seafood. A spacious, clean layout and full kitchen made it a great place to just take it easy and enjoy the peace and quiet. Within about a 10 minute drive are downtown Wakefield or Narragansett, both of which offer many great dining experiences. Many beaches and coastal hiking/state parks are within mere minutes of the property as well. Above all else, the property manager was one of the most friendly and helpful people I've ever dealt with. I cannot recommend this enough if you're looking for some quiet relaxation, yet with plenty to explore in the immediate area.

Hidden gem off the beaten trail!!

Location, location, location. What a great house tucked in the woods. 8 mins away we were fishing off the surf. Weather was great all week, the fishing “ so so “. That’s not why we’re here. Thank you for letting us stay here. I can’t wait until next year. I will definitely keep in touch.

My husband and I have stayed in many cabin rentals, and this cabin is definitely one of the nicest and cleanest. Beautiful Home, Location and Experience!

This house felt like a home. It had everything we need and more. My group felt so comfortable. The home and location were beautiful. It felt very private and we were surrounded by mature trees in a wooded area. We were very close to beaches and restaurants. The owners were very nice and answered all of my questions. Secluded yet close to everything

Beautiful home on a private drive. No neighbors in sight. Nice trails for a walk or you can walk the drive and a great deck for sitting out on or eating outdoors. Inside the house is wood paneling and modern appliances, one downstairs bedroom and two upstairs. There's a small deck/balcony upstairs looking out over a nice pond. The home is secluded but near everything, we had a lot of fun! Emma was great with quick responses to any questions and precise directions to the house and covering all aspects of the stay. We were looking for a home near the beach and were blown away by this wonderful property. With family ties in the area, we have spent every summer in Matunuck, and were thrilled to find a place to call our own. The natural beauty of this spot is evident year-round, but it is particularly gorgeous in May and June, when rhododendrons, laurels, and water lilies cover the area. What really sold us was the view of the little pond covered with lilies from the second floor sleeping porch.
