Loved loved loved our stay!!!

Beautiful property and condo! We had an amazing time. We loved it so much we booked another trip for the spring. We are staying at the same property but different room because we have more family staying with us. I highly recommend this condo, it’s clean, quiet, view of ocean, and easy access to the elevator.

Great location

Great location! We could see and hear the ocean from our living room. There was a grocery store across the street and it was a short drive from Lahaina. The complex was well appointed and friendly staff. The management company was good to work with as well!

Great winter getaway

Condo was great. Had everything we needed without being overly crowded. Great for toddler/kindergartner children. The pool was amazing for kids and great for parents to relax. Whale watching from the lanai was wonderful each morning. While I didn’t think we would need 2 TVs, it turned out to be a great amenity as kids could watch paw patrol and parents can enjoy a movie or binge watch a show after a long day out in the sun. Great place to stay!

AMAZING

This condo was AMAZING! Not only was it in the perfect location but it was the SO clean and had AMAZING views! I was stuck between this room and another that had a pool view. I am SOOO happy that I made the choice I made! Being able to sit out on the lanai with a perfect view of the to walking out the front door to watch the sunrise was beyond what I was expecting! The location and convenience to walk to many stores, restaurants and beaches was ideal! I would HIGHLY recommend this condo and plan to go back!

Convenient Condo

The unit was as described. It was nice to have the washer/dryer in the unit. Also appreciated the beach chairs and cooler. The door to lanai was broken when we checked in. The manager responded promptly to our test and had it fixed very quickly. The decor is outdated. The ceiling tiles in bathroom had obvious debris on top of them. Shower curtain liner had mold. There were only 3 bath towels and wash cloths. Resort was overall clean.

Nice condo in nice location

Condo was quaint—there were 4 of us for a girls’ trip. My mom, my sister, my niece and myself. It was a little tight for the 4 of us, but we didn’t spend much time there during the day. 2 of us were in the sofa bed which worked fine (although it was extremely squeaky). It would probably be better suited for a couple. Maybe a family of 4 with 2 small children. Kitchen was well equipped—we cooked almost all of our meals. Not far from Napili or Lahaina. Grocery store is across the street and the food truck park is next door. Pools are nice—full of kids. The beach at the property is just ok. We preferred to drive the 5 minutes to Kaanapali Beach (where the Westin is). I would return, but only with my husband and possibly 2 of my kids (I have older teenagers). I think we would rent a 2 bedroom in the future for a girls trip.

Updates needed

First morning cooking breakfast and the nonstick pans were awful. We went out and bought new ones we left behind. The fridge door opens on the wrong side and can be changed easily. Our bathroom sink drained slow and they fixed it by taking the stopper out. The view was nice but parking lot was noisy. The dishwasher was low end and noisy. Also the bathroom had a drop ceiling with dust bunnies. The carpet is starting to fray in the bedroom. Overall OK but can be better.

Disappointing

Positives: Great location, 2 nice pools, restaurant on site, plenty of parking, view of ocean, we were notified that we could check in early for no charge, 2 coolers available, 2 beach chairs available (one worn with broken strap) Kitchen had dishes, glasses, cups, pots and pans, measuring tools, and appliances. Negatives: Condo is showing its age, needs painted, gap under door to the outside, and old stackable washer/dryer. Bathroom was filthy. We had to buy cleaning products to clean the tub, toilet, and floor. We notified the Management Company and was told to direct our concerns to the Service Dept. Deck area was dirty. Kitchen had no spices, only salt/pepper and oil spray. 2 ice cube trays were available but both were full of cracks and unable to be used. Bedding was Microfiber sheets, and a Polyester Comforter. Since we were staying for 2 weeks we bought and left for the next person cotton sheets. View from deck was the backside of condo complex, so we saw all the dumpsters, deliveries, construction trucks, and construction equipment.

Great place

Why only gave 4 because dishwasher leaked. We only used it once so no big deal. Need to replace light over shower a little dark, but overall was a great place to stay!

Perfect family friendly fun filled stay in Maui

The condo was perfect, well maintained and clean and very thoughtful with the provision of surf board, beach chairs and basic toiletries. We took up 3 rooms for 3 families all by the same host. Overall, all 3 families enjoyed the stay of 5 nights. The community itself is stunning . The beach is right there to walk by. The swimming pool and hot tub were are go to every single day and was gorgeous to look at from the balcony. It was central to all locations and was easy for our activity filled vacation . Very well organized community with gift store, restaurants and food trucks nearby, and with an in house restaurant, bar that served up amazing breakfast , cocktails and food options . You will absolutely not regret booking your stay here if you are in Maui.

Beautiful place

Condo was comfortable, good for a family of 4 with pull out couch. Love the area, and the views. Resort has nice restaurant and bar. Check in was easy, exactly as advertised. Always stay at Kaanapali Shores when in Hawaii. Would definitely stay in the this condo again.

COMFORTABLE AND AFFORDABLE

My family and I stayed here 8 nights in July and really enjoyed it. The place is a little outdated, but it was comfortable and perfect for our family of 4. The location was excellent, with a food trucks next door and a grocery store right across the street. Parking was ideal, there was always plenty of it and it was only $9 a night which is a fraction of the price compared to any hotel. The grounds were nice and we enjoyed the pool a few times but were mostly out and about exploring Maui. If you have a small family it's nice to be in an apartment where you have space and a place to cook since it gets expensive and tiring eating out all the time.

Great stay!

Condo was wonderful. Great views, clean, and great communication! Resort pools, restaurant, and all staff members were fantastic! Great stay - would highly recommend.

Maui...... a great place to vacation

Condo was very clean and more than enough room for two people. Great view of the ocean and we could even see the whales jumping. Lots going on at resort too. Nice restaurant and bar, music and even some Hawaiian dancers preforming in the lobby. Nice touch. You know you are in Hawaii at the Kaanapali Shores. The only negative were the tv’s in the condo. They didn’t work very well.

Nice. Place to stay

The condo is a good little place to go for vacation, the facilities were well kept and the local area is great, go to the food trucks!!! Times supermarket is right across the street so no distance to get supplies. Only problem we had was to much to do in only a week.

Nice condo

My husband and stayed at Kaanapali Shores last year and liked it. So I knew the property already. The master bed is comfy. The unit had everything we needed. It was clean and the view was great. I will definitely stay here again.
