Convenient location to the beach and Destin. The three bedrooms worked well for our family of eight giving the teenagers their privacy. No beach view from the patio was a disappointment but the ground floor gave easy access to the beach and pool, the pool area was a little too rowdy for us at times.

First floor great condo!!

We loved this property! Super convenient on first floor. You cannot see the ocean but the convenience was worth it for us!! Spacious three bedroom condo with each their own bathroom was a huge bonus! The back bedroom was a lot warmer temperature wise than the rest of the condo but that was the only downfall we could fine at this property! We will be back! Loved Okaloosa Island! Not too much traffic and beaches were not crowded!

Beach Squad 2023

Our group of friends and kids stayed at this location, and it was phenomenal. The location was PERFECT to just pull our wagons up to the back door and let our towels and swimsuits lay out and dry without dragging it through the condo. The trundle beds were PERFECT for our small children to sleep on. Huge con but not the owners fault: the steps to and from the beach access was STEEP and took two people to get our wagons on the beach. Luckily, there were workers out there to help, but it was slightly aggravating.

A few small issues but it is summer. The toilet in master should be replaced to a newer chair height. A few extra sheets or blankets On first floor you have no control over tenants above unit we lucked out and it was not too bad That being said it seems like owner is upgrading gradually. Could use a drape in small bedroom as it is very warm for sun blocking Unit was very clean and access to unit at checkin and checkout was very easy for older tenants

Last time to stay at Island Princess

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Disappointing: needs a deep cleaning from inside freezer, under & behind beds & furniture, one bedroom is never cool which makes sleeping difficult, ice maker does not work, sliding doors have issues, inside of drawers in bunk room need cleaning, black substance smeared on window ledge & door on front bedroom, closet doors off track or perhaps broken as inspector told us, saw two roaches, went home tired from lack of sleep in the warm room...

Thank you for the feedback. We have addressed the cleaning concerns with our housekeeping team. It should be noted that the units are deep cleaned annually. During the deep clean process, all furniture is moved out from the wall allowing the teams to service behind/under each piece. Our housekeeping teams perform a thorough clean after every departure but unfortunately, there simply isn't time to perform this level of cleaning on a back to back reservations in the summer. But as good as they are, they do occasionally miss something or make a mistake. We certainly apologize for cleaning concerns with the freezer and window sills. Again, this has been addressed with our cleaning teams. I regret there were also an issue with the ice maker and sliding doors but I was glad that we were able to remedy the ice maker issue on 7/11, the same day it was reported. The rollers for the door had to be apologize we couldn't remedy this during your stay. I am sorry to hear that your experience will prevent you from returning to Island Princess. If there is something we can do to change your mind, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Be aware that it is very noisy. every time the showers or toilets are used the noise of the pipes will wake you up. Be aware that when the AC comes on there is a distinct sound as it starts. Not the normal AC sounds. We had an issue with the upstairs renters dumping liquids over their balcony onto our table. We reported it to management on site and they said they couldn't do anything about it. They were unwilling to even contact the renters. Frustrating!

Nice clock not working and ceiling fan remote not working. Possibly batteries, simple fix? 2 closet doors leaning and not stable. The entrance from the parking lot is very dirty and cushions stained. Looks nothing like the add. Customer service not respectful from Legacy. Spent way to much of my vacation/family time texting and on the phone. Beach chair company would not assign us free chairs and umbrella unless we purchased additional items. We will not be returning as our sone has left Eglin Airforce Base. We stayed at Island Princess before and it is cleaner and better maintained than 2 others we stayed at.

We had a few minor issues (cable, parking pass, & coffee pot) but the staff was extremely responsive. Our only serious concern was that there is no dead bolt or child lock on the door. There also didn’t appear to be a way to lock the gate of the portico outside that door. A two year old was able to open the door & go outside. Thankfully, she didn’t get far as her absence was noticed almost immediately. We very much enjoyed this condo and the resort.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great stay but I’d love to see a few things upgraded , however none of the things would keep me from renting again. They are doing some painting on front side of building so I know that’s probably why it was so nasty at our entrance (but at least clean it up a little before guest arrive (throw away cushions, sweep or spray it off). The first bedroom when you enter looks like it could use a fresh coat of paint. The kitchen could be stocked a little better (we had just a few forks to use). I think it could use some updated appliances in kitchen. The sink and tub in extra bathroom were clogged but my dad worked and got those draining. As far as the grounds I think adding a little landscape behind the condo where we walked to the pool could be spruced up. Would any of these things keep us from staying here again?? Absolutely not! We had a great time and so enjoyed our stay. It was a great location and everything went smoothly.
