All guests are provided with the opportunity to purchase trip insurance to cover anything that falls outside of normal cancellation terms. Unfortunately, we are not able to make exceptions to cancellation terms that are agreed to at time of booking,and when the option to have back up coverage by purchasing trip insurance is declined. While we understand wanting to cancel because things do come up - this is why we offer this coverage. It simply is not right or fair to not reimburse owners for stays that were reserved and agreed to be paid - and then expecting the owner to simply bare the weight of cancellations by guests without recourse. Please also know, all incoming calls are recorded, and if an individual calls after business hours, even if they leave no message, we still have record of the phone call. We were unable to locate any messages associated with any of the numbers on file with your stay. This concerns us, as we are unsure if you were attempting to cancel with the correct facility or perhaps left messages with a business that was not affiliated with your stay. Please do know, that had we been aware of any calls with messages being left we most certainly would have returned your call. We do hope that you are healing and your procedure went well.

Thank you for sharing about your stay. We do regret that there was confusion on your stay - however beach service is a seasonal amenity and is available March - October, pending weather conditions. While we are fortunate to have random 75+ degree days in February (and even Nov/Dec/Jan) - it is also winter for those in the surrounding area - and typically beach activity in 50-55 degree weather is not the norm. We sincerely apologize that you did not see these notifications and documentation in your confirmations, pre-arrival notifications, and on your amenity access cards, as we try to make it very clear that some amenities are seasonal. Other seasonal amenities include when pools are heated or not heated, golf courses are weather dependent, and tennis is weather dependent.
