As you discovered, we will not purchase your review. We are greatly concerned with all of our guests having a wonderful experience. Anything that a guest is the least bit unsatisfied with we will take care of immediately. But when a guest who is constantly communicating with us throughout the stay, does not have a single complaint, but after check out informs us that they want a discount or they will review us poorly, we doubt their integrity. Our cleaner is a professional hospitality cleaner who takes enormous pride in her work. She will drop what she is doing, and immediately go to the property if the least little thing is not perfect. So what is she to think about a guest who stays 6 nights without comment or complaint about the cleanliness, but after check-out asks for a discount? Particularly when you already received a discount. As you know, you received a very deep discount already, for your last minute booking, where you said that you would be in the ICU with your husband. Since the outgoing guests had been a little hard on the property, and we are so close to the hospital, we thought this would work out well for both of us. As with all of our guest feedback, we will take your listed maintenance issues to heart, and check it all carefully. In return our feedback for you, when you are staying in someone else's home, don't save up complaints until after you check out, then tell your host that you are hoping to hear from them about a discount before you do your review. From a host's stand point this lowers your credibility.

We are very sorry that you were disappointed. The slight smell that you referred to was the new flooring, which was the only odor aside from cleaning products. However, disparaging the property by saying something untrue is not responsible. Just like when you arrived and messaged me that the house was not clean. As I told you, I had used a new cleaner, so when you said that, I believed you. But when I sent over my regular cleaner, and the only thing you could point to that was not spotless was the top of the refrigerator (which she took care of) you messaged me that the property actually was clean. Although you attempted to send the cleaner away (and kept the poor woman in the driveway, talking to her for an hour), I learned that the new cleaner did an excellent job. I believe you that you did not like the faint smell of the new flooring, but as you saw for yourself, there is no mold in the house, and likewise, discrediting the cleaner was irresponsible.
