Great apartment in great location

Our stay in Maui at this apartment was great, the place was clean and modern. The pools and beach were just great. Whilst the noise of deliveries at 6am can be loud and annoying, we were up anyways due to jet lag!

The place was very nice with amazing views. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is due to the washing machine didn’t really work. Just had a bunch of soap suds each time we tried. Also, quite a few stains on floors and furniture. Overall we had a nice time.

Excellent condo

Condo and property were both wonderful. Easy access to the beach, shopping, etc. We were a bit surprised that there weren’t any “supplies” (ie, spices, food wrap, etc) left behind by precious occupants, though this would have been a nice touch. We had an instance of bugs on the ceiling and walls in the bedroom when the sliding door was open at night, but the property management group quickly replied to our call and sent someone over.

Would stay again

Property was well appointed and equipped. Had some dishwasher issues that created some unnecessary vacation woes. Part of the reason we get a VRBO is so we can cook some of our meals but hand washing dishes wasn’t on our agenda for vacation things to do. There was a lot of back and forth with the property management regarding repairmen that was a bit disjointed and frustrating but still pleasant and respectful. The garbage truck comes a couple of early mornings and can be heard from the 2nd bedroom but other than that the space is quite quiet. All in all - we would go back. Location is great.

Fabulous stay at Hokulani 420

Two couples and our two 16 yr old daughters enjoyed an amazing stay here. Excellent lodging with so much room. Huge king bedroom/bath suites and comfortable pullout for the girls. The Lanai was immense and the view was excellent with many great sunrises over west Maui mountains and the ocean, Lanai, and the sunsets as well. Dual temperature control let us have our windows open while the other bedroom remained cool and air conditioned. The pools and hot tubs were vast, clean, not overly crowded. The beach was great. While reef began in a couple feet of water right in front of the property, Sandy areas with great body surfing waves were just a few steps away. And there was excellent snorkeling right from the beach about 1 block to the south. We saw hundreds of fish, dozens of varieties, colorful coral, eels, and of course many humuhumus! All within a few minutes swim from our resort. We discussed what would make this better - a more affordable on site restaurant (Dukes was gorgeous and we had a few drinks but pretty costly), a shuttle to Whalers village (you can catch one if you walk south to MKV which is only 15 minutes), and that’s all we came up with! Dishwasher was kinda tired, old, and loud. Excellent customer service. We emailed about a broken sand umbrella and a new one was delivered within minutes. We asked for more blankets and they showed up before we even made it back to the room. Stay here!

We enjoyed our stay and loved everything about the room/resort! Had the views of both ocean and mountains. Perfect resort for families and little one's. My daughter's favorite thing besides the pool was the fish in the pond next to a big grassy area for kids to run around and play! The rental company was beyond helpful and made us truly feel at home! We will definently be staying with them next year

Island beautiful but loud unit

While this unit was nice inside it’s location was awful. It sits on the road and there is heavy traffic at all times of the day. The garbage trucks come late at night and the construction trucks come early in the morning. The lanai is spacious but not the peaceful retreat we were hoping for. The resort itself was a little disappointing with a couple requests we had. I think a different unit would be nice at the resort but wish we would have known about the location of 420.

This is the first time we have had a guest mention that they felt the Hokulani 420 lanai was too loud but we take your concerns seriously. We do think it is possible that the construction of the Luana Garden Villas was especially loud during your stay and we are very sorry if that were the case. As the work on Enclave One finishes up in the fall of 2019, the construction will move to the opposite side of the property away from Hokulani 420 and any construction-related noise should diminish. Great location and place.

Love the place. The construction was not that bad and the location is awesome. The beach is not the best for swimming / boarding but there are other ones very close.
