Sea Light ist ein wunderschönes Haus mit 4 Schlafzimmern und 4 Bädern in Sea Pines Plantation. In günstiger Lage gegenüber dem Strand bietet dieses geräumige Haus den perfekten Rückzugsort für Ihren nächsten Urlaub!

Wenn Sie die Vorderseite des Hauses betreten, werden Sie mit einem offenen Grundriss und viel natürlichem Licht begrüßt. Holzböden überspannen den Wohn- und Essbereich. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein bequemes Schnittsofa und einen Flachbild-TV. Neben dem Wohnbereich befindet sich auf der einen Seite ein Frühstückstisch und auf der anderen Seite ein zweiter Esstisch. Die Küche ist mit Edelstahlgeräten und einzigartigen blau gefliesten Arbeitsplatten ausgestattet.

Eine abgeschirmte Veranda ist durch den Wohnbereich zugänglich, und das Pooldeck ist durch Türen im Wohnzimmer und im Hauptschlafzimmer zugänglich. Diese große Poolterrasse wurde im Jahr 2017 renoviert und der einzigartig geformte Pool bietet stundenlangen Spaß in der Sonne!

Ebenfalls im ersten Stock befindet sich das Hauptschlafzimmer. Dieses übergroße Zimmer verfügt über raumhohe Fenster, ein Kingsize-Bett, einen Flachbild-TV und ein eigenes Hauptbadezimmer. Das Badezimmer verfügt über eine ebenerdige Dusche und einen Doppelwaschtisch.

Ein Queen-Gästezimmer befindet sich ebenfalls auf der Hauptebene. Dieses Zimmer verfügt über Holzböden und Zugang zu einem Flurbad mit einer Badewannen- / Duschkombination.

Über eine Treppe am Eingang gelangen Sie zu den beiden verbleibenden Gästezimmern. Ein Schlafzimmer verfügt über zwei Einzelbetten, einen Fernseher und ein eigenes Badezimmer mit einer Badewannen- / Duschkombination. Auf der anderen Seite des Treppenabsatzes finden Sie ein Gästezimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und einem Schnittsofa. Dieses Schlafzimmer hat auch ein eigenes Bad mit einer Wanne / Dusche-Kombination.

Great location, but not great enough to mask all of the other issues.

The good: the location is great. Super close to the salty dog and an easy walk to the beach. Really cool layout for the home and the AC worked great with the hot temps outside.The bad: not as clean as we thought. We noticed hair throughout the week from previous stays, and the main dining room table had a glass top we thought was just a “misty” glass. No it was just dirty in the bottom side which was extremely gross. We never could get any of the TV’s to work and luckily had a fire stick to use with the WiFi. The pool did not appear to be running so it had not been backwashed and had no moving water. It had chlorine tablets just sitting in the skewer that a child could easily open up and grab. The toilets were constantly running and one had difficulty flushing. The property manager called me and said a plumber was coming due to a water leak. The plumber came and identified the problems, but then waited over an hour to get permission to fix the problems but never got an answer and left. The toilets remained the same the rest of the week.The ugly: lots of safety issues. The pool deck had multiple holes or lose boards, one we had to cover with a flower pot to prevent accidentally stepping on it and having a foot go through. Many reviews mention this and that is had been “fixed” but it doesn’t appear so. The living room also had a ton of outlets on the floor that were not covered or had loose covers that easily could be a hazard for a small child.

Aside from the upstairs bathroom leak that was poorly handled and not resolved during our stay, the property was gorgeous, large and clean. Took care of all of our needs.

My Wife and I had a wonderful time in this home. The road construction created some delays but was not onerous. We enjoyed the relaxed pace of the neighborhood.

We loved the location near the beach and the pool. While the house was clean, there are some issues that need to be addressed for a more enjoyable and safe stay. Several lights were burned out, the grill needs to be cleaned regularly to avoid fires, more bath towels and wash cloths should be supplied, a hair dryer for each bathroom and ensure they work and won't catch on fire, and updated cookware. I would strongly recommend that a maintenance professional routinely check the house and make repairs on an ongoing basis.

Great location, but very outdated and a lot of safety issues. The house probably shouldn’t be ren...

This house has a great location and a very cool layout. However, the house looks to have been neglected big time outside some medications in master bedroom. The bedrooms upstairs have very cheap beds and the twin beds are basically on plywood. The toilets constantly ran and they even had a plumber come during our stay to fix issues, but then the plumber waited for an hour waiting to hear back from property manager for the greenlight to fix it but never heard back so had to leave. Never came back rest of week. Next day had another person come who I was told didn’t need to come inside but then they needed to. The pool deck had loose boards and even a spot where we put a flower pot over due to a hole in the wood you could step through. Huge safety hazard that in other reviews has been an issue for a while and was supposed to be “fixed.” Living room had multiple outlets in the floor not secured and children could easily play with and hurt themselves. Microwave was broken but rather than fix it they put a cheap one on the counter. None of the TVs ever would work and we luckily brought a Firestick to use with the WiFi so we at least had tv at night. The AC worked well so that was good and the fridge was good to use. The driveway was tight and you could only park one car underneath due to the space needed to back out. Huge retaining wall out front that really is unnecessary and makes the driveway very tight. Overall the location is great, but the house is stuck in the 80’s and has been neglected. It’s a shame because the time has a great layout and could be a great spot. We noticed it was listed for sale while in harbor town so it makes sense the owners won’t put any work into it while trying to offload it and collect cash while waiting. The house easily needs $500K worth of work to get up to date. Would not recommend spending money here and would recommend spending a little more for a location that has been taken care of.

Loved this 90s time capsule

This is a beautiful house with lots of light and open space. The pool is small but we really enjoyed it, especially our grandchildren. We got a big kick out of a VCR combo TV with a good selection of VHS tapes! We had one issue with a bathroom door that we couldn't unlock, but they sent someone to fix it and had no problems after that. It was perfect for our family vacation, and we want to come back someday.

Exactly what we were looking for

The house is huge and has a variety of beach items you can use. The pool is fantastic and shaded during the hot afternoon hours. Had pretty much everything we needed and were very happy with our stay. If you're looking for a super fancy/updated house, this is not it. The decor is retro and items like the fridge could be replaced, the doors are literally peeling off in some places. Not a place that would appeal to my parents, but our group had a great time and would 100% stay here again.

Great beach house

The house is a fantastic piece of architecture. There are amazing features such as an impressive fireplace, tons of windows and lots of light in an open floor plan. The primary bedroom is right off the deck and the pool. The whole house has a very cool mid-century modern vibe. There is fantastic, unique furniture and art. One is greeted at the door by a large Buddha statue . however, in the vein of mid century modern, one of the upstairs bedrooms basically doesn’t have walls. It is open to the kitchen and living room downstairs. This was a little difficult to manage in terms of light and noise. I’m pretty sure that room was originally a media room and not a bedroom and it doesn’t translate too well. Perfect location!!

Disappointed

We were very disappointed in the property. The array of interior colors we expected from the pictures but we didn’t expect the property to be so antiquated and in need of repairs. The unique musty smell in the house stayed on our belongings for days and had to air out once we got home. The blow dryer didn’t work,no lights in one bathroom worked, uncovered electrical outlet in another bathroom, cabinet door falling off in one bathroom, thick dust on ceiling fans and air ducts, filthy stained chair in the living room that no one would sit in. Housekeeping was sent back out to address the dust but only dusted ceiling fans. I took pictures of several many issues in case the owner denied the problems. The only positives are the location and the pool. I do not recommend this property as it needs a deep cleaning and overhaul. We were given $110.00 credit for the dust issue but that in no way made up for the rest of the issues.

Good location but dated

The good: More than enough space for the six of us and had everything we needed. Great location super close to beach access. The bad: Wish the pool guy had come to clean and fill before we got there instead of two days later really early in the morning while we were all in pajamas, no heads up. Property landscape in dire need of trimming and a blow, was clear it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a while. Carpets were old, staircase needs to be rebolted to the wall, dusting had not been done in quite a while, upstairs shower floor was really old and no liner in the shower so water sitting on the piece of linoleum floor afterwards. No thermostat upstairs so bedrooms other than the master were really warmPictures of property reflect this when well cleaned and years ago, not current. SO many light switches with only a handful labeled so was a fun guessing game. The ugly: Dust and pine straw accumulation and dirty windows made it look dark despite all the natural light. Property next door is under construction so a lot of noise. Tight entrance turn to front drive and overgrown palm made it tough to fit, enter, and exit a car. Can’t park three cars in the back and try to exit garage. Summary: Great house design and was a stunner back in the day, just needs a top to bottom cleaning and some renovation to make it look like the pictures. Beds were so hard it was really difficult to sleep comfortably.

CONSTRUCTION ZONE

The home itself is actually pretty well described. The home suffers from some deferred maintenance, but very functional and worked well for our large group. The beach access is literally across the street, the pool was well maintained, and there were multiple support facilities. My biggest complaint is that we had to listen to banging construction from 7 am - 5 pm EVERY day, even on Saturday. This house is in the middle of a construction zone with multiple new construction’s going up around it and at this moment, it was directly behind us. We couldn’t hear conversations out by the pool with all the air guns. Last thing you should know, this is a gated development and passes are required, but only 4 vehicles are allowed. That was huge for us, as we had family from 3 different states arriving at all hours and we had to meet them at the gate in the middle of the night. We only received 3 passes instead of 4 which made the checking in process PAINFUL.

Worst stay in HHI ever

Proximity to the beach is the one and only positive to this property. We arrived to an out of order bathroom that was never fixed while we were there. A missing spindle that opened up a large gap at the top of the stairs (we have a small child). Pool was disgusting, not cleaned, pool pump not on. Algae on the deck that was incredibly slippery, one of our guests actually did fall. Day 2 of our stay, we realized the dryer wasn’t working. I had not brought enough clothes for 7 people, fully expecting to wash and dry clothes there. All but the broken bathroom were promised to be fixed within 24 hrs of our arrival. I contacted Vacasa by day 2, as no one was fixing anything, no reply. On Friday just before we left, the pool was finally cleaned and the pump turned on and the spindle fixed, just in time for the next guest. With all this being said, we were credited just $330, not even 1 night stay. Do not rent this property or any that Vacasa manages. Just look at the Better Business Bureau, there are many reports against this managing company.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home within very easy walking distance to the beach. And it's near the south end of the island, so a short walk down the beach gives a beautiful view of the sunset. It has some minor maintenance needs - light bulbs replaced, a screen repaired. The big reason it is 4 rather than 5 is there were fleas in the garage. I'm sure they'll have that treated for the next guests, but it was an unfortunate surprise for us.
