We had a great stay! The location was perfect for our family. The condo was well stocked with dishes, towels and supplies for our stay. One suggestion would be a new and larger fry pan, but other than that, it was perfect. Thank you and we will be back!

Beautiful 4th floor condo in Kihei. Condo was super clean and well equipped. It was an easy 5 minute walk to Kamaole Beach III. We really enjoyed staying here for 8 days. We would stay here again!

Nice place that I would visit again

Nice unit right across from Kamaole Iii beach. Close to a few restaurants and a mile away from many restaurants and shops. Less of a ocean view and more of a mountain view, but just a few steps from the beach. Unit is very clean and organized. Would stay again.

Great Condo Great Location

Kamaole Sands is our favourite place to stay. The property and lush tropical gardens are immaculately maintained. It's right across the street from Kamaole Beach III. Pool area is fair-sized with lots of sun and shade. The condo itself is nicely appointed with tropical furniture and lovely decor. Beds are very comfortable, but puffier pillows would make them nicer. AC units in living room and bedrooms were welcome on especially warm days and the ceiling fans were great for the rest of the time. The lanai for this unit has a lovely view of the garden and a small view of the ocean and is shaded for the entire day, keeping it pleasant for meals at any time of day.

Perfect home-away-from-home for Maui adventures!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo so much! I stayed with my husband and our 3 kids (ages 9-13). It was comfortable, super clean, well-stocked, and communication was great (info on keyless check-in, wi-fi etc. was all really straightforward). We've stayed at Kamaole Sands before and one thing we really enjoyed about this unit was how close it was to the entrance. We were tucked back enough to not deal with street noise from the main road, but we were still an extra-close walk to the beach, which is nice when you're hauling chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, etc. We also appreciated the dual A/C and the ability to do laundry in-unit. The only thing I would suggest is a simple fix - a new broom and dustpan for cleaning up the occasional sand that gets tracked in. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Retreat

We had 11 family members spread across 3 different units in the resort and this one was by far the best unit. Well worth the extra cost. With air conditioning in the bedrooms and living rooms, the place was always a comfortable temperature. The beds were very comfortable, with lots of quality cookware, utensils, and dishes—everything you need to cook a proper meal, which can be rare to find. Being an end unit it was super quiet. Like most of the units, this one also had the smaller Lanai and the heat pump made it warm to sit on. This was fully renovated with an open kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. Such a bonus. Would definitely come back.

We had a great time and enjoyed this property. Sharing what we 'wish we had known' before arriving! Property was very clean. Lots of towels and amenities in the washrooms. Could use a full set of beach towels to match occupancy & a few extra dinner plates. Rented boogie boards and beach umbrella from the resort, not included here. King-size bed is up an interesting staircase in a loft (not ideal if you're older or for young children). Front desk did not have our reservation when we arrived, a little extra time to check in, but friendly. All pictures are accurate.

Comfortable Condo

This condo fit our needs perfectly and was spacious for 5 adults. The condo was very clean and is exactly as pictured in the online photos. The amenities were great; kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything (including detergents). Towels and beach chairs/umbrella were available (the backpack-style beach chairs but some of the backpack straps were broken). There is a styrofoam cooler and an ice pack and plenty of reusable lunch containers. The location is steps from Kamaole III. The only thing I could mention is that the A/C unit in the closet on the lanai is quite noisy. So - if it was on for people inside and someone wanted to sit out, it was not pleasant.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Sands. Unit 7-410 was lovely and exactly as pictured. It has everything you need. The unit might need a little re-organization in the kitchen from so many people coming and going and a few, very minor, replacements of things that are showing wear (a few towels, some insulated cups, nothing that impacts your enjoyment). We had a minor issue with the A/C and CBI was quick to send someone to attend to it. We had four adults and one 10 year old and enjoyed daily trips to boogie board at the beach. Beach chairs and boogie boards were there and we added some pool noodles and a styrofoam cooler to the exterior closet. Kamaole Sands is a very well maintained complex and very conveniently located. We enjoyed the Paia fish market restaurant and South Shore Tiki Lounge (good pizza) just down the street. The Cinnamon Roll shop tucked in the plaza a short stroll away is not to be missed if you have a sweet tooth. Overall an amazing stay, we hope to return!

It was truly a fully equipped condo (Thank you for stocking with tupperware and left over saran wrap and foil paper - it came in handy to wrap up fruit and sandwiches for our day! the Beach Chairs were also an amazing help!) Large and plenty of space. The Kamaole Sands is a great complex and i would stay here again. The pool was great and the many grills and picnic tables were nice to have. Beach across the street and sunset views. We swam with turtles one day. My only issue was i didn't utilize the lanai enough due to the heat from the air conditioning units that are in the closet. too bad those can't be placed elsewhere, but other than that, amazing views from the lanai to relax after a long day!

The location was wonderful — close to a great beach (across the street) and many restaurants, stores, and cafes. There was a welcome basket filled with goodies (coffee, chocolate, chips, cards, etc). The grounds were well kept, had a pool and hot tubs that we enjoyed one night. Customer service was always prompt to reply to any questions or concerns I had. They were very accommodating when I requested late check out due to a rescheduling of one of our early morning excursions. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this unit to friends & family!

Beautiful unit at the Kamaole Sands.

It was perfect for my husband and two teenage sons. Just remember to turn off the air conditioner if you want to sit in the lanai. Otherwise it blows hot air. You only really need the AC at night because we used the screens for the crosswind. Beds are comfortable and showers good. They may need to update a couple beach items as there is no umbrella and one beach chair is broken. Great if you just want to recline😉 Mahalo

Lovely space

We had a really great time, appreciated how nicely the unit had been updated. And we loved having two bathrooms!!
