Very clean. Everything you need in the kitchen. Full bathroom on first floor…loved the porch. Comfy furniture and beds.Tv could be better. Stairs are treacherous for older adults.

The kitchen is really nice, and very well-equipped for travelers. We love that you found it clean and comfortable. We will pass your suggestion along about the TV. Modern upgrades are always nice! We are afraid the description of the stairs as, "treacherous," may give future guests the wrong impression. While the cottage is not handicap accessible, the staircase has a sturdy handrail, and with care, even older adults should have no issues.

Christmas in Mt. Gretna

We wanted a true Mt. Gretna experience for Christmas this year and got it with this very beautiful cottage that has been winterized and is very cozy and inviting. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again very soon.

Board game weekend

Great space for us to gather for a weekend of board games and laughs. It was a bit too hot weather-wise for us to enjoy the great wraparound deck, so we may have to try again.

Large Cottage in Gretna

The size was perfect there were 7 of us and we all had a comfortable bed to sleep in. The downstairs was cute and huge for a cottage in Gretna we had lots of room to spread out in. The large dining table was a treat, the whole family could sit comfortably around it for meals.

Love the location. Cute house- space as advertised. Black mold in air conditioners prompted us to leave earlier than planned. Property managers did not respond to my email regarding this issue, though previous communication had been very good.

We are very sorry you found the air conditioners like that, and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. The cottages in Mount Gretna are very old - some over 100 years. Certain times of the year can bring out what may be referred to as a mildew-coming from the trees, rain, and limited sun. That being said, we let the owners know right away. New air conditioners will be replacing the old ones in two of the bedrooms very soon.

Nice central location for Hershey/Lebanon/Lancaster

Most of our group grew up in the area, but now live out of town, so we wanted a central hub to reconnect with old friends and memories. We spent most of the time out and about, but grilled some steaks one night at the house and ate at the Hideaway a couple nights too. Don't expect luxury, but this place got the job done!

Quint Cottage

We loved the wrap around deep poarch. even though it was hot, we spent alot of our family time there. It was perfect for eating breakfast reading and allowing two toddlers a great play area. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Close to all the attractions we did in Hershey.

Nostalgic family vacation!

We had a very nice family vacation at this property in Mt. Gretna! It was an easy walk to the restaurants, shows, etc. Great porch for everyone to hang out on. Easy access to the 1st floor for those with mobility issues (the 2nd floor was a bit steep, but there was a railing). We all appreciated the 2 bathrooms. No problems parking either. Would definitely stay in this very cute home again! Hadn't stayed in Mt. Gretna in many years, and it was just as lovely as I remembered it.

First time, family fun

Lovely spot! Our two children loved the porch and was so excited to be at a new house for a few days. The house was clean and we had no problems with that. The upstairs got nice and cold and comfy. The only thing we sort of suggest, especially for summertime, is a better downstairs cooling system. Instead of the unit that is in there, I would just two decent sized window units! One in the dining room and one in the living room. Other than that. Thank you! Will stay again.

Unique Vintage Home

The property was convenient to Hershey, PA where my activities were centered. It is in a charming neighborhood of vintage homes. Very welcoming property. Neat and clean. Only consideration is very steep stairs that would not work with anyone mobility impaired.

Family vacation

The property was quiet and peaceful. Depending on weather, the front porch is a relaxing place. Management was quick and easy to message with. Great set up for our family of 5, with 3 children between 2 and 7 years old. Stairs were steep, but manageable. Clear signs and instructions within the house. Mt. Gretna was a gem in itself with food within walking distance. Overall, lovely stay and hope we can visit again.

Mount Gretna is very family-friendly. We are so happy you brought your little ones with you, and you enjoyed the cottage. We hope you were able to walk to the playgrounds close by, there are two of them just a few minutes from the cottage. We hope you are able to visit again very soon!

Nice-enough cottage

Cottage kitchen and baths were clean. Rooms are small but serviceable. I am a Realtor, so I have a list of items that, in my humble opinion, should be addressed by the owners. Feel free to contact me if you'd like--I'll be glad to share what would have improved our experence.

Art show

This property definitely needs some updates & a good cleaning. The living room furniture is very outdated & not at all comfortable because of the condition. I was somewhat disappointed at the amount of rust I spotted in numerous areas. I did enjoy the porch & how convenient it was for everything I needed.
