Location was great, it was so close to old town Scottsdale and so much more. Nice neighborhood.The house was older and outdated but clean. Could use an update and some TLC. Primary bedroom was good, 2nd bedroom did not have quality window coverings so woke up extra early from the sun. 3rd bedroom had an uncomfortable mattress, daughter felt springs. Pool looked nice but we were too busy to try it out. Also,did not see any smoke detectors in the house. The house next door is being remodeled so heard contractors working all day Saturday before we left to our event.

Nice house with good setup for family stay. Pool was very clean and water temp perfect! Rules for pool use very understandable and easy. Garage use excellent!Floors were dirty in house, we needed to mop to enjoy our stay. Pool table a very nice addition for outdoor recreation, but needs some attention.Overall we enjoyed our stay and are grateful for the good accomodation!

This place is clearly owned by someone who never visits the property and the cleaning crew just goes to collect a check. Walking barefoot in the house was a no-go and turns your feet black as night on the bottom as if it hasn’t ever been mopped. The pool table is NOT USABLE it is very worn down with bumps and holes in the table fabric. It seems like they just found a cheap rundown pool table on facebook or something to jack up the price for amenities. The pool was nice but the lights don’t work, I contacted the host about pool lights and was told there was never any lights installed even though they are clearly visible and they even have a breaker switch labeled specifically for them. Beds were comfortable and clean, but the bathrooms were very dirty, specifically the showers have a lot of soapy gunk on the walls, and some towels had crud on them. Also they just turn off the refrigerator or something because the fridge was HOT until about the last 12 hours of our weekend stay. This place is okay but don’t get your hopes up. It’s alright for something a little nice on a budget.

We had a very disappointing stay due to two major issues that the host refused to resolve professionally. First, the pool chemistry was severely imbalanced, causing our children’s hair and our swimsuits to turn green. When reported, the host incorrectly blamed chlorine and insisted it was "balanced," despite the clear physical damage to our property.Second, we discovered cockroaches inside the house. Rather than sending a professional, the host simply dropped off DIY pest control chemicals at the front door and told us to "keep the doors closed." This is unacceptable for a rental at this price point, especially with young children.The host was dismissive and refused to take responsibility or offer any fair resolution. We cannot recommend this property to families or anyone expecting a well-maintained home.

As the property is located in a desert area, occasional pest activity can occur despite regular professional pest control treatments, and we responded promptly by providing pest control spray. The pool is professionally maintained twice a week, and we shared records confirming that the chemical levels were properly balanced, with no similar issues reported previously. We remained responsive throughout your stay and provided support, including bug spray and firewood.

Wouldn’t stay again

The host had horrible communication. Never emailed over details and when I reached out to get information on how to enter they never responded. Had to call the Vrbo helpline who ended up giving us the code. House and pool were nice except for the neighbors who were constantly fighting and dropping racial slurs in the backyard at 6am in the morning.

The grill caught on fire the first night we were there ruined over 100 in steak had to DoorDash food last minute and spend another 80 host apologized and refunded 40 of the almost 200 we spent.

Does the Trick

Property itself will not blow you away but the location is good. Would say its worth it if you are just going to be there for sleeping.

Not quite what expected

The house had the feel of a frat house. It was fairly clean but the showers were gross and there were unidentified substances on some of the walls. The kitchen was not stocked well and we had to borrow a lot of utensils from surrounding family. We decided on this rental because of the pool table but the pool table was junk. We were still able to play but the felt was ripped and worn. It’s hard to store a pool table outside. Other than that the house was bright and welcoming and the pool was clean and heated. It’s a perfect house to hang with some friends but not the best house for hosting a family event.
