Besuchen Sie unser Berghaus im Schweizer Chalet-Stil, eingebettet in die hohen Kiefern in einer ruhigen Straße, nur wenige Kilometer von der Innenstadt von Big Bear entfernt! Diese Eigenschaft ist frisch renoviert und bereit für viel Spaß mit der Familie! Es kann bis zu 16 Personen beherbergen und hat zu jeder Jahreszeit viel Spaß.

Mit zwei Decks auf verschiedenen Ebenen gibt es viel Platz für alle. Fühlen Sie sich wie in einem Baumhaus, das sich auf dem Oberdeck oben auf den Kiefern mit herrlichem Blick auf den Wald und die Berge befindet. Ein schöner Grill und ein Essbereich gleich neben dem Wohnzimmer eignen sich hervorragend zum Kochen oder für eine Tasse Kaffee bei Sonnenaufgang. Unten auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Hauses haben wir einen weiteren Außenbereich direkt neben dem Bereich der Family Lodge. Beide sind wunderbare, friedliche Orte, um die riesigen Kiefern zu genießen, die Sie auf dem Grundstück umgeben!
Für den nächtlichen Spaß haben wir Tischfußball, Tischtennis, Darts, Corn-Hole, Poker / Spieltisch und einen tollen Lodge-Familienbereich mit Bar, großem Fernseher und Kamin. Die Lodge ist so eingerichtet, dass Sie und Ihre Familie und Freunde als Gruppe mit vielen Plätzen für alle einen Film sehen können. Wir haben aber auch andere Bereiche des Hauses, in denen Sie sich am Kamin entspannen können. Das Wohnzimmer bietet Platz mit Kamin und bequemen Sofas mit Blick auf den Kiefernwald.
Zusätzlich haben wir im 3. Stock eine kleine Büroecke für diejenigen, die leider Zeit am Schreibtisch verbringen müssen, um Arbeit und Leben zu suchen. (obwohl der küchentisch mit aussicht genauso dienen kann!)

Great Weekend Getaway

We stayed at this property Fri night - Mon morning. Access was easy, the house was cleaned. The kids enjoyed the downstairs "game room". Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen had plenty of plates and cookware. We would totally come back.

The house was clean an in a nice area , plenty of things to do like games , darts ping pong , did have some trouble with heat the first night but communication was great an we were able to come up with a fix immediately, very kind host , would definitely come back again

Weekend Getaway

Our stay in this amazing house was everything we could have asked for and more. The house is so spacious and cozy. We all loved it. There were 11 of us total with kids ranging from 2-17. The two living spaces are a perfect setup. All of the kids had so much fun playing games and walking around the neighborhood. We will absolutely look at renting this wonderful space again.

We had a large group (11) with 4 kids (ages 6-10) staying for 4 nights around New Years. The property was clean, spacious, well furnished and very comfortable. The kids had plenty of room to run around and play. There are various nooks and crannies on the 3rd floor where one can curled up with a book and be fairly isolated from the rest of the house. Everyone had a wonderful time. The host was very gracious. Check in was easy and streamlines. Would highly recommend.

Great for a multiple family getaway

Property was as listed, except for parking. We fit 4 vehicles ok, but not sure how 7 cars can fit. Other than that... there's lots of space to spread out, kitchen was well stocked with pans/plates/utensils, and beds were fairly comfortable. Communication leading up to the stay was friendly and easy. Thanks for the great stay!

Great Place for the Family

There were 12 of us that were able to enjoy this beautiful home. It was even better than we expected. The accommodations for the whole family worked out perfectly. There was a well-stocked kitchen with all the cooking and serving supplies we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were two cozy living spaces with fireplaces. The property manager was very responsive and helpful when I called him with questions.

Excellent!

Really could not ask for a better place. We were a group of 4 couples that have know each other for over 30 years! It was a perfect place for us to all have our own bedroom space. The kitchen is roomy and stocked better than any other place we've ever stayed. Three floors of different hang out options, plus an upper deck & lower patio, made it easy for people to find a quiet place to read, or to hang out and play games together. Really could not ask for a better place. We all said we'd like to come back! Thank you for the care you've put into making this space an inviting & comfortable place.

If you are thinking about booking this house! Do it now. The house was extremely clean and well organized. I almost didn’t want to touch anything that’s how perfect it was. I loved the game room down stairs great place to play poker and other games with the family. House is spacious and has enough restrooms for the limit of people. You will not regret staying here. Property owner was kind enough to let us check-in before our check-in time and replied to my txt within minutes (very attentive and helpful).

This was our Christmas 2022 vacation!

This property had an amazing amount of space for everyone. I have never rented & property so well stocked with everything!! We brought fans, games, extra blankets, tissue, paper towels.. But, we didn’t need our things, this property was well stocked. The resorts where basically around the corner, as was the shopping areas. We even put up a few Christmas lights & decorations outside! There are only a few small & minor issues. The bathroom tile should be replaced, on the 3rd level tub, not sure if there is molding ( but we didn’t use). And there was an huge issue with the internet throughout our entire stay. The owners tried to assist in every way, but there was no success. But, overall, I would definitely rent this place again… Thank you & Happy Holidays

Perfect family vacation

Everyone had their own space in this three level home. But there was also plenty of room when we came together for meals on the deck and games in the lower level. Really glad there was Foosball, ping pong, darts, and spikeball. Plus a great assortment of board games. Would highly recommend for an intergenerational vacation.

Great Cabin Experience

This property is awesome! The cabin is great, most of the fun we had was at the cabin especially in the bar/ game room area. We also enjoyed that their was enough room for the 13 of us to be together while having enough space for everyone to get their own alone time when needed. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a cabin with a big group. This will fit all your needs and then some.

We stayed here with family and friends. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, even has a crock pot. Lots of space for everyone, we had a group of 15 and we weren’t crowded at all. Would definitely recommend.

We ABSOLUTELY loved our stay!!! This place is hands down and simply put amazing. Jo Anne and Doug were also amazing, even after check out. My car broke down and they let us stay at their place while we waited for the tow truck. Definitely will be returning.

Great Escape with Entire Family!

We had a great experience renting this property. The property owners were always helpful and available for all communications. They’re home and property are beautiful, clean and well-maintained. The kitchen had everything and the gas grill was a plus. It also was well equipped with games and activities and ideas for the entire family. The Lake is close (10 min. drive) and the market is a 7 min drive. We arrived with eight adults and four children under five. It was nice to have so many bedrooms and bathrooms. The driveway was very steep but we were able to park two cars in the garage and two out on the driveway. There were steps next to the driveway that helped the ascension up. This is not the place for anyone with mobility challenges. There are three levels with three flights of stairs. This presented a lot of work for the parents with the toddlers. But older kids (school-age) would have had so much fun and be entertained for hours in the downstairs entertainment area. The big boys(AKA: the Men) also enjoyed the TV in the downstairs area for Sunday football! We all enjoyed sitting and just relaxing or talking on both decks. Our 1st annual “Family Vacay” was a success! Definitely will be back! Thanks Jo Anne and Doug for sharing your lovely place with us.

We love the lake community! Mountain biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking and the majesty of the giant pines in the forest. This is our family escape and hope it's yours too!

It's only a couple miles from everything, even the young kids don't mind the BIKE ride to downtown; but, that being said, it's still a quiet secluded area. from most areas of the house you can see the lights of the ski slopes at night; but, you're far enough away to not have to deal with the anarchy that immediately surrounds it.

With the two different decks in entirely different areas of the house we find that it works out great for separation of groups. Both are wonderful, our favorite is the feeling of sitting 40 feet up in the trees on the green deck off the living room. The breeze whispering through the trees and a cup of coffee at sunrise is awesome!
