Ein siebenundvierzigster Spaziergang zum Strand! SOUTHERN CHARM befindet sich auf einem großen Eckgrundstück und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das OCEAN. Die Strandpromenade befindet sich direkt gegenüber der ruhigen Straße, auf der wir uns befinden! Siehe Foto!!!! Genießen Sie Ihren Morgenkaffee und beobachten Sie den Sonnenaufgang von einem der mehrstufigen Decks aus oder genießen Sie Ihr Glas Wein bei Sonnenuntergang über dem Klang des überdachten Lanai.

Wunderschöner gepflegter Rasen mit Palmen, tropischen Pflanzen und Betonzufahrt. Kommen Sie nach einem langen Tag am Strand nach Hause und spielen Sie eine Partie Minigolf. Diese Unterkunft verfügt über einen 6-Loch-Minigolf- / Putt-Putt-Platz im Hinterhof. Weitere Annehmlichkeiten unseres Ferienhauses sind Shuffleboard, Maisloch. Frisbee Golf. Dieses Haus ist ein umgekehrter Grundriss. Der Eingang auf der ersten Ebene verfügt über einen separaten Waschraum mit einer Frontlader-Waschmaschine und einem Trockner.

Die 2. Wohnebene verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer (Queen, Pull-Out / Queen, 2 Zwillinge), ein Vollbad mit Badewanne / Dusche-Kombination, Waschbecken und Toilette. Eine große Wrap-Around-Deck ist von Mehrzweckraum und Flur zugänglich. Der Mehrzweckraum bietet einen großen Flachbildfernseher, einen DVD-Player mit Filmbibliothek, XBOX, XBOX-Spiele und Apple-Computer für alle Gäste während ihres Aufenthalts und viele brandneue Brettspiele für Kinder!

Wenn Sie die dritte Etage hinaufsteigen, werden Sie von einem wunderbareren Blick auf das Meer begrüßt. Das Obergeschoss verfügt über einen großen, offenen Grundriss mit Gewölbedecken, ein Wohnzimmer, ein Esszimmer, eine maßgefertigte Küche mit Betonarbeitsplatten, ein Hauptschlafzimmer und ein luxuriöses Badezimmer, die alle sorgfältig im Vintage Beach-Stil eingerichtet wurden. Entspannen Sie sich vor einem großen 55-Zoll-Flachbildschirm mit erweiterten Kabelkanälen über dem Kamin und genießen Sie den herrlichen Meerblick von der Couch aus oder spazieren Sie auf das große Wickeldeck, von dem aus Sie von Lanai aus einen Blick auf das Meer und den See haben.

Die gut ausgestattete Küche verfügt über brandneue weiße Schränke mit allen neuen Whirlpool-Geräten, wunderschönen Betonarbeitsplatten und einem wunderschönen Backsplash aus Seeglas. Brandneues Koch- und Essgeschirr sowie eine Keurig-Kaffeekanne sorgen für zusätzlichen Komfort.

Der Zugang zum Strand ist direkt gegenüber der Hütte. Genießen Sie einen wunderschönen breiten Strand bei uns! Nur wenige Schritte zum Strand hier! Eine hölzerne Promenade führt Sie zum Pier, der sich gleich die Straße hinunter befindet.
Das Southern Charm befindet sich im Herzen von Avon und bietet wundervolle Restaurants, die zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Food Lion ist weniger als 0,35 Meilen die Straße runter, damit Sie bequem einkaufen können.
Direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite befindet sich Island Beach Rentals, wo Sie Beach-Cruiser-Bikes für jedes Alter sowie andere Strandartikel, Baby-Jogger, Kajaks und Stand-Up-Paddle-Boards mieten können. We only got to stay 26 hours due to mandatory evacuation but the house was nicer than when we stayed there 2 years ago. A new patio door was installed and a stuck door was fixed. All new Pella windows too. This house is the perfect size for us and our daughter's family of 4. Short walk to beach access is convenient. Close to Food Lion and restaurants. If we get a refund, which I was promised, we will stay there next year.

Great vacation house!

The house is exactly as pictured (maybe even prettier) and the location to the beach is excellent! Love the fact that beach chairs and beach towels were available to use. We loved being able to sit on the porch and look at the water. All the amenities made for a relaxing week. We will be back!

Upstairs bathroom comode would not flush properly And water ran all the time. No lights on 1st floor and outside in garage had to use phone light getting out of car to find the door and go up the stairs. House smelt real musty had to buy spray and kill Oder and open windows and run fans beds smelt bad too. Floor and rugs were dirty.showers pressure was very weak. Sinks had mold under stop drains particles coming out when water was on. One garbage can lid was gone kids toys was everywhere on ground in garage.

Amazing trip & house!

We stayed in this house for a long weekend with two other couple friends to have a kid free weekend getaway! We had the most amazing vacation, the house was so beautiful and had so much to do on site! We specifically loved the shuffle board on the middle deck and the boys loved the Xbox in the game room! Highly recommend this house! Also- if your a lover of home decor you will love every detail in this house. So beautiful!

Beach Vacation

This home is in a great location for a beach vacation. The beach entrance is just across the street. The decorations continue the beach/coastal theme. We enjoyed the multiple outside spaces. The owner provided good recommendations for nearby activities and restaurants. As with all homes in this area, this house is multi-level with the main living space on the 3rd floor. As a result you have to be prepared for lots of stairs. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Rental

Family and I rented for a week. Super close to beach and lot of things to do; beach, shuffleboard, hot tube, decks, etc. Owners were very accommodating and it was very nice to have towels and bedsheets handled. Definitely all the major things it gets right. There are A few little opportunities to improve, like maybe check batteries in remotes, hand soap etc, but that’s most rental. Overall, great place and great time.

Southern Charm is a charm

This home was the perfect size for us. We loved having a short walk to the beach access walkway. The house location is perfect for grocery shopping and eating out. The house has been updated however several exterior doors were difficult to open. It was wonderful to be able to see and hear the ocean from the two front deck areas. We would definitely stay at Southern Charm again. The whole process from booking to arrival at the home was very easy. Thank you Vicky and Ryan.

Amazing home and location on the Outer Banks

We stayed here for a week after Christmas with our two college-age children and the home/area were beautiful. The house is gorgeous, decorated beautifully and has everything you might need for any season. It was chilly when we first got there and being able to use the gas fireplace as a family while playing board games/nibbling on appetizers was amazing. The beach is a quick walk across the street but we also played a lot of shuffleboard, corn hole, or just sat in the swings and looked at the skyline. Be aware that a lot of places were shut down when we were there but that is typical of a resort town in the winter. Highly reccomend!

Amazing Stay in Avon!

We absolutely loved this beach cottage and Avon! It was our first time in OBX and we'll definitely be back. The cottage was in a great location, so close to the beach! We really enjoyed being able to enjoy the view of the beach from the upper deck, and even ate many of our dinners out there. The decor is exactly as pictured-very cool and cozy! We appreciated how the owners provide beach towels and beach chairs-very convenient! One of our other favorite parts of this home is the Shuffleboard on the second level....We played every night! The owners are excellent with communicating and providing various recommendations on where to eat, what to do, etc. We rented bikes for all 5 of us through Island Cycles, as well as a beach cart and beach kayak. They were wonderful and provided free delivery and pickup. Southern Charm is one of our favorite beach homes and was perfect for our family of 5!

Fun family vacation

Our weather week was not great so we were extra grateful to be staying in such a nice house so close to the beach. We were able to run back forth easily to take advantage of a few hours of better weather, and when it was raining we were able to spread out and take advantage of the amenities of the house. The house is as pictured, and well thought out. Kitchen well stocked for cooking and light baking, which did more of with the bad weather being. I will be suggesting a new toaster and adding a mixer. Bedrooms are roomy, bathrooms nice- especially upstairs shower, and the family/kitchen area is a great hangout spot for entire family.There was a bit more road noise than I expected in the highway 12 side bedrooms, but would only disrupt the most sensitive sleepers. So nice to have the towels and chairs available, and ability to login to our online streaming accounts. The views of the beach are great considering you are one back from oceanfront, and our only disappointment was that screened porch does not currently have screens. It hardly mattered this week but with nicer weather that may have played a greater role. We were not really able to take advantage of the outside amenities bc of excessive wind, but kids loved the volleyball court and we were able to use the hot tub once and very nice to have a real charcoal grill. Great location so close to grocery and restaurants. All in all, we had a great time at this house and would consider booking again.

The Perfect Quick Getaway

My husband, daughter (8 yrs), son (3 yrs), and I stayed at the Southern Charm in early October. I fell in love with the house through the listing pictures and the in-person experience did not disappoint. While we certainly didn't need so much room with just 4 people, the house was a complete delight. Well-kept and homey. with excellent proximity to the beach. We loved using the deck swings, hot tub, and shuffleboard set. My son says his favorite part of the trip was going up and down the levels of the house LOL. We stayed for 4 days and took advantage of several local outings: Lighthouse Horse Rides and SailStiletto Catamarans. We enjoyed both outings immensely and highly recommend them. The beach access was so incredibly easy and the beach itself was much prettier than the ones further north in KittyHawk or Nags Head. The house location was also super convenient, in close proximity to the Food Lion and local restaurants. The owners were warm, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. All in all, it was a wonderful quick getaway and we are really missing "our" beach house and can't wait to return!

Cozy Beach House

Renting this property was a great experience! The house was clean, decorated nicely and had a cozy beach house vibe. The view is awesome and the location to the beach and stores is ideal. The beach chairs and towels provided by the owners are a plus. And we loved the shuffle board so much that we are thinking about getting our own. We would definitely stay here again.

Fun in the Sun

Convenient location---so close to the beach, grocery store, and great coffee shops and restaurants. The decks were fantastic, especially the shuffleboard! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and all appliances and dishes were spotless. Not having to bring beach towels and chairs was another bonus! The hot tub was extremely clean, and it was so nice to have a fire pit on site to make s'mores. It was a very relaxing week for all!

Outstanding family vacation

Our first trip to the Outerbanks and it did not disappoint! The location is perfect, so close to the beach, quiet area with all the amenities and local stores/shops you would need. The beach house is beautiful and comfortable at the same time. It was the perfect size for our group (5 adults, 1 child-age 10). We will definitely return!

A Gem

Wonderful home. Very clean. The floor plan creates privacy for families. So many games and amenities! Brand new great beach chairs. This was quite possibly one of our favorite beach houses to date. Perfect location! Be prepared that this home leaves a starter kit of paper towels, dish tabs, toilet paper, and a few trash bags, but everything else you need to bring (hand soap, more trash bags, dish soap, etc). We also could not locate a first aid kit. Of course those small inconveniences did not take away from the beautiful ocean views on the amazing decks! Thank you for the wonderful family memories made in this home!

Great Stay At Southern Charm

We had a beautiful visit to Avon! The house is lovely, spacious and well situated. Make sure you bring your own toilet paper, paper towels. dish soap, sponge, laundry detergent…because none of that is provided but overall a wonderful place.

My husband and I purchased Southern Charm in October of 2018 because we always wanted a vacation home by the beach within drivable distance to enjoy with our 11 year old son. Southern Charm was so perfect, picture perfect. The colors, decorations views of the ocean, the lanai with beautiful sunsets, and great amenities in side and on the property for our family and friends. Even the 8 hour drive is something we enjoy because we make a stop or 2, sing and just have a great time getting to our home.

Southern Charm is the most beautiful property we had the opportunity to stay in. The home has countless amenities and provides a perfect setting for spending quality time with family and friends. It is best place to make memories and we are thrilled to offer you an opportunity to stay at our home. Listening to the ocean in the morning eating breakfast. Watching the sunset from the lanai with a glass of wine. Kids, family and friends can play shuffleboard, boardgames, volleyball , putt/putt, xbox. Truly a relaxing, memory making atmosphere. We want to share our love of our home and make your own lasting memories.
