Seit 2005 ist VILLA AUSBLICK LLC (deutsch für "Villa mit Aussicht") eine 5-Sterne-Wahl für besondere Familientreffen oder größere Gruppenretreats, die den perfekten, sehr privaten Kurzurlaub in Vermont suchen. Dieses luxuriöse, aber kinderfreundliche Haus auf einem 5 Hektar großen, abgelegenen Waldgrundstück in Waterbury Center, VT, verfügt über einen saisonal verfügbaren privaten Whirlpool oder einen Pool im Freien.

Das ganze Jahr über geöffnet, können Sie viele Sommer- und Wintererholungsaktivitäten innerhalb einer kurzen Fahrt zu Wander- und Mountainbikestrecken, Golfen, Tennis, Wassersport am Waterbury Reservoir und Wintersport in 3 erstaunlichen Skibergen genießen: Stowe (17. 8 Meilen / 30 Mindest); Sugarbush (35 Minuten) und Bolton Valley (20 Minuten).

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Ausblick. The house was spotless, well stocked and comfortable. The yard and the view of the mountains were spectacular. Our four grandchildren, ages 4 through 10, spent hours and hours at the little pond on the property, catching and releasing little frogs and fish, and they enjoyed clambering up the rock formation in the yard. The swimming pool was great. There was lots to do nearby - we swam and rented kayaks at the Waterbury Center State Park, did hikes at Moss Glen Falls and Sterling Falls Gorge, took the kids to the ECHO science museum in Burlington, rode a gondola up to the Cliff House Restaurant, and, of course, visited Ben and Jerry’s. Highly recommend!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The property is amazingly beautiful and the house well laid out and furnished for a multi-generation family vacation. The grands (8, 9, 10) loved playing outside and inside. Enough space to get away from each other for quiet time but lots of family things to do to. We had tournaments in the game room where we lots of fun, movie night, outdoor laser tag, pool play and more. We needed another week to exhaust ourselves. When I booked the house I feared it would be a trek to get to places but Waterbury is easy (and nice) and Sherburne museum and Burlington (ECHO museum) not that bad. Any house hiccups were very quickly and satisfactorily addressed by Sibylle. The views... the sunsets over the mountain...the pond...the pool (even though a bit cool for seniors, but kids didn't mind) all good. Everything is thoughtfully done to make a great vacation for all ages.

If I (the wife actually writing this) could describe this location in two words—they would be “breathtakingly brilliant”! No extravagant detail was spared when this property was originally imagined. From the whimsical pond filled with fish and the waterfall trickling into it—to the landscaping and garden design surrounding the perfect poolside escape as you take in the glorious mountain view—this house has it all! The best part was after a day of enjoying the nearby attractions of Waterbury or the not-too-distant Stowe—or basking in the glory of the property itself— the inside of the house had just as much to offer guests as the exterior. We stayed there as an extended family of eight (family of four plus our kids’ grandparents and aunt and uncle). The primary suite had a sweeping view of the mountains that was so perfect—my in-laws couldn’t bear to close the curtains—because they wanted the first thing their eyes met, when they awoke, to be the view. The rooms were clean and there was plenty of space for everyone to congregate on the main floor. Our youngest was particularly enamored with the playroom—entertaining herself between outings. I think the thing I appreciated the most was having ample towels and a house layout that was conducive to family members being able to tuck away into their own quarters when it was time to retire. Every moment felt magical as we shared conversations by the fire pit, pool, kitchen, front porch, and back deck gazing at the stars.

Great stay for extended family get together

This is a beautiful location and the layout of the house lends itself perfectly for extended family get togethers. The view is 100% green mountains with no structures in sight and a clear line of sight to camel’s hump. The hostess clearly communicated and very responsive to any questions.

Great wooded location and perfect for eating in and enjoying the view. Has it all and is very easy to spend a whole day just around the house. But if you leave, also very convenient to Burly, Stowe and Mad River Valley.

Wonderful house in a beautiful setting

The house was exactly what we had hoped for and it was a wonderful way to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary with three generations. It was particularly fun for our 7-year old grandchildren.

Great views in a very nice and spacious house

The house is great, just as described in the pictures. Kitchen was stocked with good cookware, everything was clearly labeled, bedrooms are all a good size, and common space was perfect for a group of 12. Hot tub was nice to have and overlooks a beautiful sunset at the end of the day. My group had a great stay, definitely recommend it.

Spectacular vacation family home!

Superb and thorough pre-trip instructions made our arrival a breeze. Beautiful kitchen well-stocked for all our cooking needs. Great gas grill put to good use. Spacious home with tons of activities for the kids in our group ages 3-13. Outdoor pool. Treehouse, Hammock and Fire pit and Game room all put to good use. Multiple dining areas inside and out. Gorgeous mater bedroom/bath. Incredible vistas of the Green Mountains! We loved this house and the helpful, friendly owners!

Perfect vacation rental for any family

An absolutely beautiful home with wonderful floor plan at the end of a quiet dead end street. The owners have gone to great length to make available amenities that would appeal to any and all age groups. It was a weekend getaway, for my wife's family members. Will definitely try and return with my own kids and their spouses.

Thank you! The funny thing about this vacation home is – it has more and better amenities than our primary residence! For example, who owns an electric griddle large enough to simultaneously produce 10 pancakes? It comes in very handy when you have to feed breakfast to an army of hungry kids!

The most amazing property!

We are so thankful for a glorious week at Villa Ausblick! This is a children’s paradise (pool, rocks to climb, treehouse, pond for frog-catching, sandbox, hammock, swings, outdoor games, the list goes on!), and our kids had the best time! Peter and Sybille are also amazing communicators and checked in frequently throughout our week stay. Great location to Waterbury and Stowe! One of the best properties we have stayed at ever! Many thanks for a wonderful visit!

Waterbury Property

This is a large home that easily accommodated our extended family group. House has beautiful mountain views and is very well equipped. Pool and frog pond were popular with the kids. Sibylle is a pleasure to deal with.

It has been a pleasure to host this larger family reunion. We don't disagree, the pool and frog pond always are a big draw for our younger visitors... as are the tree house and the stacked playroom. But we also care that the parents have a great time :)

Wonderful property

We had a large family group including children, parents, and grandparents. The house worked out perfectly. Great set up, clean, well equipped, lots to do for the kids. The information provided was thorough and helpful. Kids loved the treehouse, frog pond, firepit, and especially the beautiful pool. Close to restaurants in Waterbury and Stowe.

Beautiful and quiet location

The home was just as described and was in a very private location overlooking the mountains. Sybille was a very organized host and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Our family of 8 was very comfortable. The grandkids enjoyed the toys and outside area (though kids need to be closely watched near the sloping yard, pond and pool area.) Would definitely love to return another time!!!

Villa Ausblick Family Vacation

Villa Ausblick provided the venue for a fantastic family vacation ! We wanted a house set in Vermont with nearby activities for our family to gather together including our grown children and partners with our 4 grandchildren . The home far exceeded our expectations. This is a special place! The property is incredibly well maintained and organized, the view is spectacular, and the owners very accommodating. It was so much fun we definitely will want to return for another memorable experience.
