Great vacation location

The space was very nice and modern with large rooms and ceilings. Steps from the pool and beach. Comfortable beds. Perfect for our trip. I miss it already.

Fall Getaway

It was perfect, besides the “heated pool”, it was freezing. There was enough room for our two families, 8 people. Location was perfect on the 1st floor so kids had access to pool and other activities right out the front door and we could keep them in site. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location, condo has a nice layout for families. Outside patio furniture was much different then what is shown in pictures. Compass team was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Amazing

The condo is on the lobby floor which we loved. The view might be better 10 floors up but here you can walk out to your oversized patio and down some stairs to the huge pool. The beach is only steps away from the pool deck and beach chairs and umbrellas are included. The unit itself is one of the cleanest rentals I have stayed in and the decor is whimsical and gives off an awesome beach vibe. It is spacious and updated and kids and adults alike will love it.

Middle of patio temporary construction site otherwise great location

Location of unit was great, next to miles of State beach shoreline. I enjoyed my entire stay outdoors on the beach or in the pool. We ate out seafood at at local restaurants. The large table seats only 4, not a family. The bar stools were good looking but no one felt comfortable sitting there. Unfortunately I wasn't notified of construction on the patio of the unit until I paid unrefundable VRBO fees, insurance and other costs. There was no coffee or tea amenities, which is always a nice touch. However all that said, everyone had a great time at the beach.

This property is absolutely beautiful. The location of this condo is very convenient. You are steps from the pool and have easy access to the beach. I would like to see some different furniture in the living area. While it is pretty to look at, it is not the most functional. The barstools are difficult to sit on and are not very sturdy. The couch is a little worn, but that's to be expected. The patio furniture will need to be completely replaced. Several pieces were broken and not functional. There was some construction on the property that we weren't warned about and that was a bummer. The patio area was scattered with bricks which made leaving the condo a little difficult. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo. We would absolutely choose to stay here again. Hopefully we will find it available for our next vacation.

Great location and amenities

The condo was beautifully decorated and the semi private outdoor deck with outdoor seating was one of our favorite spots all week. The condo is right off pool and beach and the management staff was very helpful. The grounds are beautiful and security is high. The beach bar area played live music and was fun to hang out there as well. I recommend this property.

This property was simply amazing

We have visited Destin for Thanksgiving, every year for nearly 20 years. We have never stayed in such a condo. It was super clean, and trendy. The staff was amazing. We arrived and the door code left in the drop box was inoperable, we called the manager on site and within minutes received a return call and she stayed on the phone with me to ensure the code worked before we got off the line. Everything about Silver Shells St. Croix was amazing and we look forward to returning next year!
