OCEANFRONT Waves - La Waves Dr. (Ehemals Chateau Sur Mer) LANDSHARK wird Sie mit seinen geräumigen Zimmern, großzügigen Decks und atemberaubenden Meerblick tragen. Dieses Haus liegt direkt am Meer mit einfachem Zugang zum Strand. Es verfügt über zwei Duschen im Freien zum Abspülen des Sandes, bevor Sie in den privaten Pool am Meer springen. Der Whirlpool befindet sich auf der ersten Ebene mit Blick auf den Pool, direkt vor dem weitläufigen Spielzimmer, wo Sie einen Mini-Kühlschrank an der Wet Bar finden. Genießen Sie ein Spiel am Billardtisch oder entspannen Sie auf dem Schlafsofa vor dem großen Flachbild-TV. Ein komplettes Bad wird vom Spielzimmer und einem Schlafzimmer mit Einzelbett und Etagenbetten geteilt. Ein Kingsize-Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad ist ebenfalls in der Nähe. Die mittlere Ebene beherbergt vier große Schlafzimmer, von denen zwei Hauptschlafzimmer mit begehbaren Duschen und Jacuzzi-Wannen in ihren privaten Bädern sind. Die anderen beiden Schlafzimmer (Queen und 2 Einzelbetten) teilen sich ein komplettes Bad. Alle Schlafzimmer haben einen privaten Zugang zum Deck zum Entspannen unter freiem Himmel, Lesen und stille Kontemplation vor schönem Wasserblick. Die obere Ebene verfügt über ein enorm großes Zimmer mit hohen Decken und hohen Fenstern, die den Blick auf das blaue Wasser in den Raum bringen. Ein großer Flachbild-TV ist über dem Gaskamin angebracht, der einen Schwerpunkt für den komfortablen Sitzbereich bildet. Der Esstisch und die Frühstückstheke bieten Platz für die gesamte Gruppe, nachdem der Küchenchef in der Küche das Abendessen in der maßgefertigten Küche mit offenem Grundriss und Granitarbeitsplatten zubereitet hat. Treten Sie mit den Slidern auf die oberste Ebene, um Sonne und Unterhaltung zu genießen, oder klettern Sie zu den Schiffen, um aus der Vogelperspektive die natürliche Umgebung zu betrachten. Die Master-Suite auf der obersten Ebene verfügt über ein mit Keramikfliesen gefliestes Bad und einen großen Whirlpool, um nach einem Tag in den Wellen vollkommen entspannen zu können. Great in the off season

We wanted to go somewhere that was a little removed and had beach front views. Excellent property and the weather and beach were great even in the off season of late April

Excellent areas to walk our dog. Biggest issue was 2 of the 3 hvac units weren't working properly upon arrival one was already draining onto the carpet, the other, neither ac nor heat worked. I will add what made the issue much worse was that there was a storm upon arrival and the hvac guy couldn't get to our area for a few days. We also had no way to cleanup the wet carpet (luckily the management company dropped off extra towels which we tried to soak up best we could) but it was so much it was pouring through the ceiling on the bottom floor. Also one bedroom door had no lock on the outside slider, another bedroom wind and rain was blowing underneath the slider. All of that said it was a great space and if those things were fixed, I would stay there again.

Great trip

Ten adults, five kids, two dogs. Naturally we had our concerns. But the property was great and accommodated our needs. The beach was steps away and we always had plenty of space to ourselves. The pool was more of a necessity than we realized (the surf is a little rough for small kids). Pro tip: the rec room TV is on a full extension mount, so you can angle it to be visible from the pool or the hot tub. During our stay we noticed a baluster on the third floor deck railing. A quick call to the management company and it was repaired immediately (and all railings checked). Pool service checked / adjusted chemicals mid-week. The only real issues we experienced were Running out of propane for the grill and a lack of fridge and freezer space. Traveling with a large group during a pandemic meant we brought everything. So the fridge and freezer were comically overfilled for almost the entire trip.

Beautiful Location, Okay Home

The location of this home was just beautiful, right on the ocean with amazing views of the sunrise, dolphins, birds, etc. The home itself, from a cleanliness and maintenance perspective, was underwhelming. We had to call for maintenance because one of the door handles was super loose and we couldn’t get any of the TVs to work. The property manager responded very quickly (same day), so we were happy with the maintenance response and timeliness. A lot of the cables were missing from the DVD players and some of the remotes didn’t work. We didn’t use all the bedrooms, but we noticed one of the twin bed platforms was broken. The master bathroom shower had black caulking in the corners, in fact the outdoor shower was the best shower head in the whole house. And I want to be clear that this isn’t a surface clean problem (the cleaning crew did fine), it’s a replace the shower caulking kind of dirty. So when I say clean, it was surface clean, but definitely not maintained well long-term. It was certainly livable, but if you’re expecting a very clean and well maintained vacation home, then you might be disappointed. We enjoyed it overall, but it wasn’t worth the money we spent due to the condition of the home. There’s certainly opportunity for the owner to better maintain the home in the future. If that happened, then we’d certainly return.

Unsafe & Not Maintained

This would be rated at zero stars if it were an option!!! This was the most disappointing rental I have ever experienced, and I have rented a lot of houses! We made several calls to the realtor, one regarding the sliding glass door with broken off lock. Later in the week we noticed three sliding doors had locks but could be pushed open when locked. The house had thick dirt/dust on all of the ceiling fans that we wouldn't turn them on and the furniture had years worth of stains on them. Don't expect much light throughout the house either, half of the lamps didn't work in the bedrooms!! The pool has weeds WITHIN the fence as high as the fence!!! We were told twice someone would be out to weed it out but no one ever showed up! These are thick weeds with nasty prickers on them, so when my son went to get a ball he had tossed accidentally into the weeds, he hurt his finger so badly, by these balls of prickers, that his fingers bled!! We also had an issue getting the pool heater turned on! We were first told we didn't pay for it then were told it wasn't worth the money because it wouldn't make the pool any warmer! Once we finally got that pool guy out and the heat turned on, it made a huge difference in the temperature! Just an all around awful experience. This is the 2nd house we have rented a Surf or Sound Reality property and will NEVER rent from them again!!!

If you are worried about COVID beware.

Overrall the house was as expected. The biggest issue I had was we were allowed to check in early but only because the house was not properly cleaned. I mean fish still in the fridge, sticky floors, water marks on table and just disgusting. We called Surf and Sound and they were on it to get the cleaners back out. The cleaner who came out while we're there said it was clear they didn't do their job. She was great though. We have a high risk baby, so coming to a home that was not properly cleaned during a pandemic was a problem for us.

Great location. plenty of room, well stocked kitchen dishes and utensils, beds were very comfortable, outdoor showers convenient (with warm water too!). Will definitely consider for our next beach vacation.
